The Dark t-shirt transfer paper will give you the same results on the flag as it is 100% Cotton. I have sent you the images you were after by e.mail.

Is it the ICT Crest or the old Caley Crest you are after? I have the ICT Crest available as a Vector File (make it whatever size you like without losing quality). You also need to be careful of how you press it on to a flag. If the Flag is 100% Cotton (or high % Cotton) then you will need to use a transfer, if the flag is polyester then you will need to use sublimation for the printing. If the flag is nylon then your really only able to use a pre-printed vinyl transfer. You also need to keep in mind what colour you are printing (transferring) on to. Standard "T-Shirt" Transfers only really work on light colours unless you use special transfer paper for dark colours which has an opaque white background and you'll probably want to trim it to within about 5mm of the border regardless to ensure you get a decent looking result. Please, whatever you do, don't use the "iron-on" transfer paper you can buy for DIY jobs...it sucks. In fact any paper which says it will work at domestic iron temperature is likely not to last. There's also the fact that standard inkjet printer ink will fade fairly quickly. If all that has left you thinking "eek....I don't know what I'm doing now" then feel free to drop me a PM. I have all the transfer papers, inks and a proper heat press and I should be able to help you out.

Very few specific items are actually banned from football grounds and the rules/guidelines are very much left open to the interpretation of the match safety officer.....therein lies the problem, especially when you have a safety officer who seems **** bent on making life as difficult as possible.

It was much the same as the Hearts game....it's not that the players aren't capable, it's just that very few of them look all that interested. I don't expect us to be winning every week, but I at least expect players to put in the effort. You could probably count on the fingers of one hand the number of times an ICT player lost the ball and actually went chasing to win it back. In fact, the only person I recall doing that in the last couple of matches was Niculae. There's at least 6 or 7 players that need a good kick up the erse and it's got to the stage where I don't really care about the results....I'd rather have the young lads out there giving 100% than the current squad who are barely going through the motions.

Saturday 22nd March 4am till 4pm Reason: The servers which host the site are being moved to a new data centre. This isn't ideal for us (being a Saturday when we have a match) but it is totally out of our control unfortunately.

When it comes to Royalty I don't have any problem with the swearing bit....it's the whole oath nonsense that gets to me. I would happily pledge allegiance to Scotland and the Scots, but never to an individual (Royal or Otherwise), government or "god".

Looks like you could be right, Grabe.... :024: http://sport.scotsman.com/spl?articleid=3858432 That's an old article...and only part of the "rule". 2 rules exist. One which says that any team failing to fulfil fixtures gets removed from the league and thus reduces the number of relegation places by one.....and another which says the bottom team gets relegated. I believe that the SPL have confirmed that should Gretna find themselves unable to finish the season then no further relegation will be enforced on anyone else and the top team from Div 1 will come in to make up the 12th team.

Yantorno? You have to be having a giraffe. The guy is all blow and no go, and we proved that when we gubbed Gretna at Fir Park.
-
I won't criticise Gretna for "Living the Dream", because when push comes to shove everyone knew (including their own fans) that it was never going to be sustainable. Making the best of what you have whilst you have it is not a crime. Whilst I have a certain sympathy for the staff, they too were surely aware of the situation when they took jobs with the club that some day it would all go back to the way it was before the massive climb through the leagues. The sudden nature of the collapse will no doubt cause them problems, but many of them will have had their pound of flesh and if they hadn't prepared for the decline in any way shape or form then really, they have nobody to blame but themselves....each and every person who is employed by another lives with the risk that their job could be snatched away from them at any moment. Who knows what Milesons motives were? Only him I suspect. But what does it matter? We all know that the SPL is a joke of a league in many areas and if nothing else then the Gretna situation has only served to highlight that and show that we are in need of change. I don't just mean papering over the cracks and introducing more rules and criteria which only serve to make the league even more elitist that it really is, I mean a proper revamp of the entire system from top to bottom and actions which keep the league open to anyone who is good enough on the park without imposing criteria which cripples them financially. Gretna have made their bed and they must lie in it. I don't support suggestions that they should be advanced any money by the SPL. As things stand they can give no guarantee that they can or will fulfil the fixture list and if they are unable to fulfil their fixtures then, IMO, they are not entitled to a penny from the SPL. Whilst Gretna are without a doubt responsible for their own situation, the blame for any "embarrassment" being suffered by the SPL/SFL/SFA lies firmly at their own feet. They are the ones who created the system which has resulted in this situation, and not for the first time. We can all sit and point fingers at the clubs and say "you should have learned from what happened to so and so" etc, but where is their any evidence that the suits who run the game are learning anything or are not only taking steps to prevent it, but putting in place a system which doesn't promote it? The current system in Scotland promotes bad business practice. It creates an environment where clubs are almost forced to "go for broke" or settle for lower division mediocrity. It's about time people gave up on the infantile "I told you so" attitudes, stop the gloating and looked beyond their noses to the bigger issues that exist. ICT have had more than their fair share of "luck" since we were formed and even leading up to the formation and the wheels could have fallen off for us on many occasions over the last 14 years. We were forced into building a new stadium which nearly sent us into administration before we barely got off the mark....we were forced in expanding the stadium and shelling out for groundsharing.....a cost which could have done more harm than many realise if we hadn't secured an early return to Inverness. We've been fairly prudent in comparison to most other teams and still nearly gone bust...and may well have done if it wasn't for a few things going on our favour when they could easily have gone the other way. For me that is representative of a system that couldn't be any more fecked up if it tried, and that's where we need to be looking to make change. So long as you have a setup that p!sses people off so much then you'll always have your Milesons and your Romanovs who seem more intent on giving 2 fingers to the suits than concentrating on building sustainable footballing entities. Get the system sorted out and much of the rest will take care of itself.

I'm all for bringing in creative players and players who offer something a bit different to the norm, but the success of ICT has been based on players who are honest, hard working and play for each other and the shirt. This is something which seems to be lacking a great deal of late and aside from the fact that I do actually think Tokely has been one of the more consistent players this season, he epitomises what has got ICT where it is today and he would have been a sore loss. I also think it's time to give him the Captains Armband and have him lead the team....nothing against Munro, I just don't think he is a natural leader or passionate enough to be getting the guys fired up.

Was the old Academy/Bank building on Academy Street not the Royal Hotel as well at some point, or do I have my buildings confused? I vaguely remember stories of my father working in the vaults of the old Royal Bank in Academy street when some kind of construction work was going on. He used to go on about how he was surprised the place never got turned over as they were basically allowed to wander into/through the vaults whilst they were doing whatever work they were doing with piles of cash lying around. Many years later I remember he was working in the Royal Hotel when it was being stripped out. We went down once or twice as kids to run through the place playing hide and seek and the like and I clearly recall that one of the guys on the job with him had decided that he could make a few quid from liberating the old fire hoses....all **** broke loose when upon taking a hacksaw to the pipe of the first one he cut on the wrong side of the stop ****. Had he stopped on the first signs of water he probably would have been ok, but he was insistent it was just "water that was lying in the pipes" and proceeded to cut all the way through :029:

It's more than just poor performances and inconsistency, that I could put up with if I believed the players were actually giving anywhere near 100% and if it looked like the manager was picking our strongest team to start. Right now I feel the fans are being short changed by club and players.

He's been saying the same thing every week for the past 2 months

Safe environment is the problem.................it was ok for div 2 and 3 with crowds of a few hundred but is not designed for crowds of 3000 and is not deemed safe. And their floodlighting is not up to the required standard either. You can defend Gretna all you like CD and that is your perogative but the fact is the rules and regulations are in place and must be adhered to, whether people like them or not, and Gretna have made absolutely no attempt to abide by any of those rules and regulations even though they were given time to do so. Gretna was a project for one man. The achievement was realised, and like some computer game, it will now be discarded. Who says 3000 isn't safe? I think you'll find that legislation/law finds it perfectly acceptable for a football stadium to have a capacity of 9,999 before the all-seater criteria kicks in....it's the SPL who lowered it to 6000 for this league and now the infection of self preservationism is spreading to SFL 1 and they want to dictate what minimum capacity a stadium should have...where does it all end? It's not about defending Gretna or any specific team, it's about standing up against all the things which are killing the game in this country. To feck with the "rules are in place and must be adhered too" political nonsense....if the rules are not fit for purpose and are doing more harm than good then they should be challenged....if ICT had taken that line 4/5 years ago then we would not be where we are now defending the very rules that almost hindered our right to progression. As for floodlighting.....since ICT's floodlights are not up to the required SPL standard and haven't been for some time now, requiring almost weekly maintenance to keep them even half way efficient....should we have been thrown out of the SPL?
-
Then let them use the ground with the terracing closed....it's them that will lose income. It's like the minimum seats criteria....clubs should be allowed to use what they have and base that decision on their own needs and abilities to finance it, not the jumped up aspirations of others. If the SPL want a minimum seat criteria then they should be willing to offer funding to clubs to provide it. If the SPL want minimum stadium criteria beyond what is required by law, then they too should be offering funding to provide it. Forcing clubs to spend money which they may not necessarily be able to afford is a ludicrous idea. All clubs should be able to rise and fall by their own means, not by the means of others. Football grew very healthily for the 100 years prior to the introduction of all these "minimum criteria" rules....and you just have to look at the declining fan numbers and the fact that clubs are going to the wall on an almost annual basis due to debt to see the damage it is doing to the game. Time for a reality check, football is not about sitting in sparkley, modern, hi-tech, all-seated stadia, it's about two teams going out to do battle whilst being watched by their fans. Provided that is done in a safe environment, then nothing else matters.

Raydale is being used for reserve and youth fixtures so it must have a valid safety certificate.
-
The problem in this case is not ground sharing, it is the condition of Fir Park. The pitch is actually being used less this season than it has in the past because all Reserve and Youth Fixtures are being played elsewhere which means that it doesn't get used outwith league/cup games. The SPL never wanted ground sharing in the first place, that is obvious. This just gives them an excuse to put an end to it and maintain another aspect of the Self Preservation attitude that exists. They would be as well opening up the league to all clubs who have a "compliant" stadium and then doing away with promotion and relegation because if they go back down this route then it is a huge backwards step. Just when it looked like the league might have been slowly moving away from it's "farce" status, some clown comes up with a way to undo all the positive work.
-
I'm not convinced the problem is Brewster, just as I wasn't convinced that we had any real problem with Charlie. Our problems lie in other people at the club not letting them do their job. The sooner the fans take a step back and start looking at the larger picture the better.....our club is in a mess from top to bottom, off the park it has been like that for as long as I can remember, but it is now spilling over on to the pitch and I don't know how we achieve it, but it has to stop.
-
I believe that ICT are more than capable of winning all of those games.....the only problem is, I'm not sure if the team believe they are capable of it, or indeed are really that interested.
-
Perhaps lining up a new Director of Football? Reading between the lines on what Grassa has been saying in regard to ICT helping out Clach I wouldn't be surprised that if we did get involved there that he would move over to them as the new Chairman leaving a vacancy within ICT itself.
-
Another youngster coming through the ranks or is he a signing that I missed during the window?
-
Definitely, the guy ran the wing tirelessly yesterday and had those in the middle got the finger out and pushed forward more often then he would have at least had options other than running it to the flag and trying to win corners. I was surprised that he was hooked at half time, but it was either that or weaken an already struggling central midfield.

It was at the end of one of the Press and Journal articles I think.

I only made a 4 mile round trip and was wondering why I even bothered......much respect to everyone who travels long and far to follow ICT :clapping03:

Great effort from the lads and lassies in section G in trying to generate a bit of atmosphere and lift the team, just a pity the lads on the pitch couldn't match the effort. I was also mightily peeved to see Brewster criticise the fans in the press today for getting on the teams back. Don't know what he expects or whether or not he realises that the people who were there trying to be vocally supportive were, once again, being silenced by over officious stewarding. You can't win....you try to create a bit of atmosphere and your told to sit down and shut up, you do that and the manager comes out and has a pop in the press because the fans aren't getting behind the team.....wtf are you supposed to do :029:
