He'd struggle to get chances with us at the moment so I think it's best he stays somewhere he's getting regular games. I would have liked to have seen him go to a team higher up the leagues to test him a bit further.

I was having a bit of an argument with an old Jaggie last night about old Thistles original strip colours. He was adamant they had never played in anything but Red and Black (as a home kit), but I am certain I have seen something somewhere which showed that in their early years they actually had a blue and white striped top as well as a blue and red striped one. Can someone tell me if I am losing the plot, or am I right?

Sorry LG & Caleyblue, when I'd looked at this thread last night I didn't have enough people interested and I've now gone and made other plans for myself so I'm no longer able to do the minibus.

I've also just been informed the main reason chips don't taste the same these days is because they are no longer allowed to half cook them in advance....this is also the reason why, when they run out, it takes longer for the next batch to be ready. Other Chip Shop Facts..... - You no longer see Mock Chops. These were banned after the BSE carry on. - Traditional Saveloy are also a thing of the past as some of the additives are now banned in the food industry. - Your batter is no longer that golden colour due to the ban on Tartrazine...alternatives are more expensive and most places simply don't bother anymore. P.S. Hilton Chipper is closed for the next couple of weeks....apparently my brother was due a holiday...lazy barsteward :015:

Hilton Chipper still cut their own chips on the premises, use dripping and wrap them in newspaper (although they do have to use a plain paper layer between the newspaper and the food). Here to help :001:

I've got ?2 on Falkirk winning at HT and ICT at Full Time @ 44.00, so am not to disappointed at this stage.

Johndo...last time someone read between the lines on one of your posts you landed in moderation :015: You've admitted above that the berating of Bayne that you refer to is not on these forums and on that basis their is little evidence to support or deny your claim. Maybe your trying to create this imaginary wave of negativity in respect of Bayne in the hope that it has a similar effect on his performances as it had on Niculae??? These forums are most certainly for views and debate...your of the view that Bayne has been getting unfair criticism lately and I find that debatable. :001:

I may not agree, but everyone is entitled to their views and opinions and if they want to moan constantly (even when the team is doing well) then that's their choice. I have never deleted a thread on the basis that I didn't agree with someone. Discussing and debating a persons points is one thing, moaning about the moaners only adds more negativity and compounds the issue.....and starting whole threads moaning about the moaners is a bit Pot and Kettle.

Mr Rice do both. They normally use the larger ones your on about when you order chips and gravy/curry sauce, but if you ask for the larger ones when you order a normal portion of chips you'll get them.

But hwere has anyone aid that Bayne was sh!t or anything like that? This berating of Bayne is all in IHE's head.
