  1. Where in my post did I say Charlie was under pressure. You seem to have a problem reading English so pull your head from up your erse and read it you jerk! I have no problem with Charlie and certainly don't have any attitude. :008:
  2. Sorry for being so thick but how has the club benefited from the money going to the trust?
  3. Back 4 of Tokes, Caff, Granty and Richard for me.
  4. Let's not forget that this was the first game of the season and yes it was a dismal result and certainly doesn't do our home popularity any good. However, the most important aspect of this will be how Charlie deals with this setback. Personally, I think his post match comments showed his inexperience and he will learn to take a deep breath as time goes on. I know it must hurt but he and Parky must analise the game from video before making any rash decisions. He has a big squad, bigger than Aberdeen going by the P&J on Saturday, but it is important he takes advice from his staff before making any rash decisions. This is the biggest test yet for Charlie, he has only had plaudits so far, but once the dust settles, I'm sure he will deal with it in a very positive manner. Let's hope he takes it out on the Dons

What would Charlie do if a young lad was makibg his debut and played as badly?
  6. Interesting - I understood the tulloch money was going to the club and not the trust.

Anyone got any pub contacts in Madrid? :017:
  8. I think we should all wait and see what the balance sheet shows. Great to see the company in profit and I hope this trend continues. However, football is a very speculative business and we need a solid base of retained profits because our only assets are the players. Mr Sutherland departs on a high note leaving the new chairman a very big target but I'm sure he has the qualities to get our turnover up and improve the profit margins.

Jim Love was an absolute gentleman and he will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.

Procs is fish so if we are getting anything for him we should be thankful and cash him in. :011:
  11. What a coincidence IHE - I wonder why :004:
  12. Source ? Confidential - but probably the same as all the others who think they have reliable sources. :015:
  13. A deal will be done sooner rather than later. OUT: Dods & Proctor IN: Robson
  14. This is getting so boring, even more so when chairmen waste their time issuing statements as we have seen. If DU want the three players and offer reasonable money and they want to "better" themselves, then let's put the cash in the bank and put this issue to bed. Personally, I don't see Dods having such a dominant season this year which means he will be worth very little, if anything, when his contract expires. Black will spend a lot of time in the stand suspended this season and Proctor will never be a regular. Take the Grocers money and make it available to CC!
  15. Our income is obviously increasing with PL football but at the same time it takes shrewd management of the expenses in order to be able to pay more to the players. As a matter of interest, where did you find out the info on the other PL teams?

Aye and poor Jim O probably had to buy them himself :015:

I reckon we have 11 midfield players already in the first team squad. Bit overweight don't you think?

What about Granty. Don't you all think it's about time he got rid of no 14!

Let's not forget that Bruce is also an ex Caley Thistle player. I think I'm right in saying that he had a scoring debut at Arbroath. He deserves his special day.
  21. Believe what you want to believe about shareholder rights Alex. As I have previously suggested, why not ask the club for a detailed, individual breakdown of the players and management earnings and see how you get on! I am surprised that you don't have a reply to my point on Youth investment and the coaching subject? :comp01: I do apologise to everyone as this has probably gone way off topic now. Sorry
  22. Whoever told you that a shareholder is entitled to know what individual employees earn is having you on. Why don't you ask Mike Smith what Darren Dodds earns and see what reaction you get! On the Youth subject, again as a shareholder, ask the club exactly how much they "plough" into our Youth Programme and the Highland Academy. I doubt if they will tell you but if they do and tell you the truth, I don't think you will make such a statement again. With regard to players having the correct level of coaching qualifications, tell me what players coach our youth squads 3 nights a week and attend their matches on a Sunday? Sorry, I will answer that myself - NONE! Research the SFA coaching qualification structure and you will understand what I am talking about.
  23. Exactly RIG that's why we shouldn't build up our hopes until the deal is done. Maybe we will learn for the future.
  24. Yes, it sounds like it. All Italians have been zissed for the last 4 weeks and after tonight will be for the next 4 at least. Let's bring the Scotland Euro game forward and catch them cold!!! :015:
  25. CaleyD - You obviously have a lot of inside knowledge but it is concerning when you claim "I am perfectly aware of the level of wages our players are on (with and without bonus)." Personal contracts should be just that, PERSONAL and ALL the players should be asking how you have obtained such information. On the other hand, I hope this is merely a figment of the imagination. :33: You also state that " I personally know people who regularly dip in their pocket to give 10's of thousands to youth development at ICT, and will continue to do so for as long as it is needed, so I am aware of how things are." I was honestly unaware such people were so generous to such a low key section of the club but if they do invest such sums they must be major supporters of the Club and I am surprised they do not get more prominent exposure. You should use your personal connection and encourage them to invest even more in such a good and essential cause :clapping04: I really didn't think my post would have attracted such a comprehensive reply CaleyD but thanks anyway for taking the time to keep me right.
