  1. He's is just not good enough. Jamie Duff is a far better player and is now ahead of him in the pecking order. Difficult to see where CC can accomodate Vigurs having so many midfield options.
  2. Strong word that George Adams is on his way to Hibs to take over their youth in the summer.

Don't think you are too far away from the truth CaleyD. :023:
  4. Wages must have taken a hike if tricky dickie is signing a new contract :024:
  5. Without a doubt. Home grown and deserves far more credit than Dods who has only been with us for two minutes. Bigger clubs will come calling sooner or later and he deserves a long and rewarding career. :clapping04:
  6. If true then bye bye. Hope he remembers the club that took a chance and saved him from the lower scottish divs.

    Dods

The way you are talking EWS you'd think he was due some kind of long service medal! A good solid defender but IMO he's not due anything from us other than the praise he gets on this site.
  8. "The commemorative shirt, celebrating 10 years at the Tulloch Caledonian Stadium will have panels at the front and back with the supporters names incorporated within the material." The shirt looks good as it is but I dread to think what it will look like with panels on the front and back
  9. To strengthen the squad, you need to replace those leaving with better players. If we don't have the necessary budget, we will definitely NOT strengthen. It is time for the board to dig deep!
  10. If what you say is true, it should be the director of football's job to set up a scouting network - not cc's. Could be lots of bargains in the lower english leagues and eastern europe. Personally, I don't see CC giving up the job and Grassa would NEVER sack him.
  11. OK CaleyD we could argue the point all night but I'm sure we both have better things to do. Dods has been a good player for us once he got his place in the first team. He did however arrive here with the reputation of being a bit short in many aspects so I can understand why the club wanted him to prove himself. As you state, I'm sure he is well regarded by his fellow players but this does not guarantee he would make a good coach. I do wish him well in his new job but IMO he is now history.
  12. :015: Your first comment is not only proposterous it has no basis on fact - i.e. it's BS (just my opinion mind, I'm sure you have no problems dealing with opinions other than your own) And if suggesting Dods is the one to have slapped ICT in the face isn't paramount to saying he is being disloyal, then what exactly is it you are trying to say? Yes, Caff has stuck around whilst not getting a game, but lets face it, other clubs haven't exactly been breaking down the door to sign him from us - and lets not forget he too has been getting paid from the club and has been doing far less than many other players to earn his wage. It really is hard to buy that kind of loyalty!!! You are absolutely spot on - I do NOT have a problem dealing with the opinion of others! If Dods was so willing to move his family up here why didn't he when he was offered a new contract to keep him here to the end of his career? Maybe you shouldn't believe so much BS! :024: As far as Caff is concerned, when you say that "he has been doing far less than many other players to earn his wage" and " it is really hard to buy that kind of loyalty!!!" really is quite insulting to a player who has been at the club for so many years. He didn't make the decision to play in the reserves and sit on the bench so maybe you should show him some respect. :33:
  13. It has absolutely nothing to do with "giving more than he ever promised to do" He is paid to do a job! I didn't say anything about Dods being disloyal, I said Caff has shown more loyalty by staying with us when he was out of the picture. However, loyalty is not normally a quality of the modern day player. I would also like to point out that this my opinion and just because you don't agree doesn't mean it is BS. Your statement "don't give me any BS" suggests you may have a problem dealing with opinions other than your own. :024:
  14. GRANT MUNRO Team Captain :021: TOMMY CUMMING Club Captain :017:
  15. Sorry CaleyD but IMO he lost all rights when he signed for DUFC. It was ICT who took the slap on the face when he decided to leave! Caff has shown far more loyalty and deserves a run until the end of the season. This will also help CC decide what players he needs in the summer.
  16. Agree, he would benefit from a loan spell. Robbie Williamson is just the man to get him going and he would learn a fair bit playing alongside Martin Johnson.
  17. Agree 100%, as I have already said, I would have done it as soon as he decided to leave. Caf is due the chance for his loyalty.
  18. Seen this boy a number of times at U19 and Reserve level and he was by far the best player on show. Maybe take a while to fill out so maybe needs farmed out to lower divisions where he will no doubt gain the "physical" experience. He is CC's type of player tho.
  19. Good news Rory. I really do hope you make the grade. You still have a lot to learn but don't let the self appointed expert knockers get you down. Good luck! :021:
  20. Agree Kingsmills but I think it will take some divine intervention. Cmon the Saints!
  21. No chance unless we are in the top 6 and we aint. Waste of time even thinking about it at this stage. We should concentrate on finishing as high up as poss and make early preps for pre-season with 3 quality new signings.
  22. All this name nonsense yet again. Fact: The club is Inverness Caledonian Thistle FC :023: Fact: The team is widely known as CALEY :021: Full stop. End of debate. :012:
  23. If correct, it doesn't surprise me.
