  1. Interesting indeed. The season in Divi 1 obviously cost us but this should have been softened by the parachute payment. The social club has seemingly been sold for over ?200k so our expenses must be out of sinc with our income. Considering we have no assets to speak of, we must have a very considerate bank.
  2. Nice
  3. Niall Calder is no relation to Jimmy Calder.
  4. At least a Caley scarf would have some use. Did the Jags actualy have a scarf considering they only had 50 or so real fans!
  5. At least they know things will be done properly - unlike the past!! IYKWIM
  6. Take it you will be OK with a Blue & White home shirt then?
  7. About time too. Duncan is a very good coach and our U19's have been crying out for someone of his pedigree. Let's not forget, these kids are far from being the finished article and he is just the man to set them on the right road. Good luck to them all.
  8. Russell Duncan
  9. Tade and Shinnie, to name but 2, both at trials
  10. It sounds mighty like TB has done a deal with Hogg for next season. Otherwise, it is madness to let Grant go.
  11. Yes a techy hitch which couldn't be avoided BUT when oh when will we STOP entering CRAP tournaments which we know we can win? This has been going on for years and we must start pitting our wits against better opposition at better tournaments! If any of you care to ask the kids who travelled I'm sure you will be told that it was far too easy! Come on Charlie, never mind the silverware, compete at tournaments which include senior clubs and you will then see if we are making any progress!
  12. Not so many years ago the Inverness and North public would be flocking to such a game! Let's hope we remember our roots and get there in serious numbers.
  13. And will you be going to Grassa's new pub for a pint IHE?
  14. Get real guys. 11th place was the target this season and that will be achieved. Give TB & MM a chance to build. I would love to see us in top 6 cos the extra money would be great but our home form is dire!
  15. But if the teams immediately below us win their games in hand we won't have any say in the matter
  16. Don't think old Hugh is that rich!
  17. Not unless we start winning games against teams round about us
  18. I'm sure this will make up Adam's mind for him. What a ridiculous post!
  19. Aye, I can just imagine what these Old Codgers were talking about too. "See these young lads... they only come here so they can make a noise and a complete @rse of themselves on a Saturday afternoon. No interest in football at all. Well I suppose it keeps them off the streets. But the soooner they get away back to the North Stand the better. Tut, tut, tut. Pass the Werthers Originals." Don't worry son. The day is approaching faster than you realise. You probably won't suddenly wake up one morning and simply realise that you have become an Old Codger. As sure as night follows day though, it's a status which is certainly coming your way. But enjoy the intolerance of youth for the moment, because it won't be available to you for all that much longer. Well said Charles
  20. From what I have heard, there is absolutely no chance of the Club closing.
  21. Let's not forget that DFS did say many years ago that he would transfer his shares to the Supporters Trust but this never materialised. Let's not forget that he still "owns" the 2 stands and basically controls the lease so I would probably forgive him if he released his/Tulloch's shareholding to enable a major investment in the club. Who's in the wings I wonder?
  22. Would be very nice indeed. However, the Tulloch shares are only worth what someone will pay for them. Let's not forget that the Club is making a financial loss and has no real assets other than the players.
  23. Merry Christmas and Happly New Year to you ALL
  24. Most on here couldn't cope with what went on before 1994 and more to the point probably weren't born
