  1. Not so many years ago the Inverness and North public would be flocking to such a game! Let's hope we remember our roots and get there in serious numbers.
  2. And will you be going to Grassa's new pub for a pint IHE?
  3. Get real guys. 11th place was the target this season and that will be achieved. Give TB & MM a chance to build. I would love to see us in top 6 cos the extra money would be great but our home form is dire!
  4. But if the teams immediately below us win their games in hand we won't have any say in the matter
  5. Don't think old Hugh is that rich!
  6. Not unless we start winning games against teams round about us
  7. I'm sure this will make up Adam's mind for him. What a ridiculous post!
  8. Aye, I can just imagine what these Old Codgers were talking about too. "See these young lads... they only come here so they can make a noise and a complete @rse of themselves on a Saturday afternoon. No interest in football at all. Well I suppose it keeps them off the streets. But the soooner they get away back to the North Stand the better. Tut, tut, tut. Pass the Werthers Originals." Don't worry son. The day is approaching faster than you realise. You probably won't suddenly wake up one morning and simply realise that you have become an Old Codger. As sure as night follows day though, it's a status which is certainly coming your way. But enjoy the intolerance of youth for the moment, because it won't be available to you for all that much longer. Well said Charles
  9. From what I have heard, there is absolutely no chance of the Club closing.
  10. Let's not forget that DFS did say many years ago that he would transfer his shares to the Supporters Trust but this never materialised. Let's not forget that he still "owns" the 2 stands and basically controls the lease so I would probably forgive him if he released his/Tulloch's shareholding to enable a major investment in the club. Who's in the wings I wonder?
  11. Would be very nice indeed. However, the Tulloch shares are only worth what someone will pay for them. Let's not forget that the Club is making a financial loss and has no real assets other than the players.
  12. Merry Christmas and Happly New Year to you ALL
  13. Most on here couldn't cope with what went on before 1994 and more to the point probably weren't born
  14. Are you sure? I thought I saw someone with a flag which looked a lot like your avatar... Oh I'm sure all right. My avatar is the US State of Florida!
  15. Your first post and this, for the most of it, are inaccurate. He is mouthy, always has been, but didn't kick off until he was getting pulled up for a throw away remark about a miss placed pass. No a welsh flag is fine. To be honest I wasn't bothered with the flag but I can understand why others would be. Again, you are trying to use a one off incident regarding 2 people to reflect another 9 fans who were sitting enjoying the match and encouraging the team. Well Harry, I would be giving the "2 people" a wee word and give them some sensible advice as they seem to be "tarring" you all with the same brush!
  16. Surely these idiots can be identified. I wasn't at the game but if I was and I new who they were, I would have their names off to Kenny Cameron straight away. Come on someone - do your duty!
  17. Nothing new here LG. The club initiated free school tickets when we moved to the new stadium and, believe it or not, had exactly the same effect. I do however believe that there was a period when some n...ty decided to pull the plug because we were losing revenue!
  18. I don't think Dons supporters should get carried away with Brown being 70 years of age. To me he looks a very sprightly 70 year old and he certainly has the tactical and coaching experience to take the Dons forward. Good guy bad guy set up I think and I certainly wouldn't mess with big Archie - no matter how old he is! Good luck to them both - as long as they stay below us in the league and don't perform when they play us.
  19. Cameron will no doubt lay the blame firmly on Gordon Brown and the Labour Party. Let's face it tho. The world really doesn't like the UK - which they think is all ENGLAND!
  20. Send IHE and his squad down to visit his CLUB!
  21. Nah. I think wee Nick Ross would do the job. :fighting:
  22. That will be about right. He was a couple of years ahead of me. I think he was a major player for a legendary Royal Academy team of that era in the late 60s. Nothing Legendary about them when the old Tech whipped them in 68
  23. Come on then all you old timers. Do you remember him from your IRA days? Did you play footie with him for Ness Rangers FC (Inverness Juvenile Team run by that old scribe Bill MacAllister)? Will be 59 ish now I think.
  24. Think you are talking about my uncle Ken. He was at the IRA and was Caley goalie for a few years? Don't think so. He is talking about a younger version. Remember your uncle tho. Post Office, Nairn County and one of the best Caley keepers of all time.
  25. Ewe are spot on. This is Roger reminding us of his roots! Wasn't a bad player in his day was old Kettle.
