How do you get from Blackpool to Fleetwood?

Missed opportunty?
We should open a Hooters at the ground, that would raise money for the club.

Next Seasons Numbers
We should do the numbers alphabetically by surname, like the Dutch teams in the 1970s. That was very cool and would give us the following numbers: 1. Gil Blumstein 2. Lee Cox 3. Russell Duncan 4. Ryan Esson 5. Richie Foran 6. Stuart Golabek 7. Jonathan Hayes 8. Max Johnson 9. Roy McBain 10. Gavin Morrison 11. Grant Munro 12. Eric Odhiambo 13. David Proctor 14. Nick Ross 15. Adam Rooney 16. Dani Sanchez 17. Graeme Shinnie 18. Shane Sutherland 19. Ross Tokely

England were absolutely abysmal.

Chick Young @ World Cup
Chic Young is an awful, awful journalist. He really is. Here's hoping he gets car-jacked every day.

Dundee United chairman slagging us off
Dundee United do need more cash through the gate to service their gigantic debt.

Hamish Munro
I think we were speaking to him on the bus back from the second County game in Dingwall. I mentioned his name to my dad when I got back, he was a well known Inverness guy and a really good fellow apparently. RIP.

I.C.T fans going to Hampden. Why?
Apparently the club put a banner up wishing County luck. I wonder if all the players were supporting County...

3-0 Cowden now. McAllister was in the papers today hinting that he didn't get on with Brewster and felt he didn't get a chance at Caley.

Experienced pro's from down south
Perhaps we could look at gettign some loans in from down South - look at the success Motherwell had in getting Ruddy and Jutkiewitz in from Everton. Butcher and Malpas have both managed in England and we signed plenty players from there last summer.

- MacPherson leaves St Mirren
I went to the last St Mirren game with John Coughlin as manager and also went to one of the first game under Gus McPherson and the difference was massive. Under Coughlin St Mirren looked bereft of belief and discipline. Caley simply walked through the Saints team, we won 4-0 and it could have been more. A couple of months later and we ran our luck (and Brian McGinty's awful finishing) to secure a point at home (we only lost one home game that season and won the league). St Mirren looked alert, sharp and focussed. They didn't have a very good squad but the change in the team was palpable. As an outside observer it seems that after that McPherson looked to make St Mirren solid defensively and clinical up front, which they seem to have been. They won the First Division title with the fewest goals scored but the important part of that equation is the first part - they won the title. In the SPL McPherson's side seem to have always been relatively solid and stuffy, which is the best way to ensure SPL safety. They also had good 'bottle' in that they made several gutsy late efforts to avoid the drop (coming from 2-0 down to beat 'Well in 2007, winning away to Falkirk last season and getting a point a few weeks ago). What I imagine has done for him is the perception of a lack of progress. St Mirren are a good prospect. They don't have historic debt, they have a relatively settled squad, they have a new stadium and facilities. They are exactly the sort of club that would look towards making a drive away from seasonal relegation fights and towards the top six. Perhaps the club think they need to change things in the dugout to make that leap and having seen Hamilton and St Johnstone outshine them this season, when neither club has a big financial advantage or better facilities, they have made their move. Now it's a big choice for St MIrren - do they go for experience, which is all to often shorthand for failure, or do they take a risk on a younger manager, and end up like us or Falkirk? Perhaps they could look towards Dingwall where there's a young manager turning heads.- Away buses
Take the train. Caley Service Crew.- Can ICT win the SPL?
Absolutely. If we aren't in contention at Christmas we should sack Butcher and look at getting Warnock in.- 6 players let go
:blah01: how an earth was it the right decision to let him go. IMHO he was one of the most promising youngsters to ever grace TCS and look at him now. Yes look at him now, playing for a mid-table First Division team.- 1st game of new season - who do you want?
I think that's wrong. It is wrong. St Mirren played us at Caley Satdium in 2006 after they got promoted. My ideal first game would be Hibs away.- Prized ICT possession
One of my girlfriend's former colleagues was Juanjo's landlady and she got me an autograph. A bit embarrassing considering I was 25 when I got the autograph.- 6 players let go
Duff did his cruciate - he did look good when he played last season, albeit he made a couple of high profile mistakes. Kyle Allison never played so can't comment on him. Eagle seemed to come onto a game a bit more later in the season but he really was very one paced and found it hard to penetrate opposition defences. He looked as though he could control a ball though and made a couple of decent cameos later in the season. He nearly scored a beaut against COunty in the league and his goal against Ayr was a good one. Bulvitis split our fans. Some clamoured for him to be given a new deal and, to be fair to him, he apparently performed well mid-season. HOwever, I really didn't rate him. Every time I saw him play he made me nervous, he seemed to take the wrong option too often, not making simple clearences and flying into silly tackles. Rosscoe is a far better option at centre-half, or was in the First Division. Stratford I didn't rate at all. He looked out of his depth and didn't really do anything well. I went through to Airdrie for our 1-1 draw there earlier in the season and he was shocking, very, very, very poor. I texted my mate during that game 'a year ago we had Don Cowie and Ian Black in midfield, now we've got Eagle and Stratford!' Djebi-Zadi was probably our most maligned player. He really is capable of horrific crimes against football, taking his eye off the ball, booting it straight out of play and trying ridiculous dribbles. However, he played 90 minutes the night we beat Rangers at Ipox and didn't put a foot wrong and also did really well in Butcher's first game when we got a point from Celtic, so he can leave with some good memories.- Hayes signs!
