  1. I had a pie and coffee served in the new bar area at half-time. There was a considerable queue but the quality of my (Scotch) pie was superb. If it is still the same people that are doing the catering they must have a new pie supplier.
  2. beans
  3. Mensing and Hasselbaink from Hamilton?
  4. What opportunity? My recollection of Imrie's appearance in the Challenge Cup Final, was of him coming on as a sub, almost into stoppage time. He took a flying two-footed lunge at some Dundee non-entity in frustration, and off he went.... It wasn't a major problem - the game was already lost by that time.
  5. It didn't do us any harm last season.
  6. Guinness with coke? What a strange combination.
  7. What a feckin surprise - "Who are you ?" I gave you a star a wee while ago for one of your rare, sensible and incisive comments. I'm going to remove it now. :irritated:
  8. I Hit 50 not so long ago and nobody said a feckin word.
  9. Or 9...
  10. How was the bacon roll? I was happy to find nicely-chilled cans of draught Guinness in the sports bar yesterday (?2.90). Thank you, Darren  ?3.96 for a 4 pack in Tescos.
  11. Or even a decent football team....
  12. Pedz.... You could have started a thread on any of our players yesterday, inviting others to submit similarly abusive comments. Remember it is a team game - yesterday the whole feckin team was abysmal - why single out just 1 player?

This had the makings of turning into quite an interesting thread...... Until that rather succinct comment.
  14. It didn't soften the feckin blow.
  15. Totally agree.... In fact I'd go as far as to suggest Ross was our best player today. Hayes looked completely fecked by about halfway through the second half. I couldn't believe the substitution.

    lost

Have you tried looking on ebay for it?
  17. The last game I saw him was the 2-0 defeat of Motherwell in the Scottish Cup last season. He came on as a sub in about the 15th minute to replace his injured flatmate, Hayes, and then proceeded to play the game of his life. I felt he was a huge inspiration for his team-mates that night - in fact I'd suggest that was the game that sparked off a major turning point in our season, and was an indication that promotion might still be achievable. I'll always be grateful to him for that.
  18. Yes it has, but none of the aforementioned players have been ruled out, or ruled in - I suspect TB will delay a decision on his line-up until just before kick off.
  19. Best I could get (last night) was 18/1 for us to win by 4.

So much for the theory that a custodial sentence can actually reform or rehabilitate persistent troublemakers.
  21. Ditto....
  22. But whodunnit ? The Butcher.
  23. I'd love to see Tade of Raith Rovers coming here.
  24. Just back from the most one-sided game I've seen in years. Very quite night for Tuffey with just the odd back pass to deal with. Got the impression in the second half, minds were very much on the Hamilton game. Rooney well deserved MoM. This wasn't one of Eric's better nights, but it didn't matter. Good performances from Cox at right back, also Munro, Ross and Hayes. Bring on the Hamilton!
  25. Denis was a decent player for us - always plenty of effort and commitment from him, and several memorable goals. I also spoke to him on a couple of occasions - a really nice, likeable bloke, but now he'll just be one of the opposition.... Sorry - I doubt if I'll even notice him tonight.... I certainly hope that will be the case!
