  1. Hayes, when he's on form and in the mood....

I'd help my wife to pay off some of her outstanding credit card debt.....
  3. I've got them back on now, but they were definitely "off air" for most of this morning. I tried re-tuning several times without success, and it wasn't until around 1pm they finally appeared. Also spoke to H/Dee about this and he informs me that the changeover from analogue to digital is done over two stages - today, and on the 20th of this month. Freeview sets will probably require re-tuning on that date as well.
  4. Anyone else having problems with Freeview TV? I've lost BBC1 and BBC2 - all other channels seem to be ok. Have tried accessing the installation from new menu, and gone through the whole re-tuning process. Still the same... no Beeb1 or 2.
  5. I believe his wife is called Annie.
  6. So samoakly signed up to this forum today, just to give us this piece of old "news", which isn't even accurate! Do you win a prize if you can guess who samoakly is?
  7. Haven't most of these fun loving posters been banned?
  8. You'd get me drunk then take advantage of me. And I'd hate to get Aids again.....
  9. Not half as dodgy as a wee room in Killie... :aghast:
  10. Jeeeezus.... Count me out!
  11. H/Dee... You have my sincere and heartfelt condolences regarding the recent turn of events in the City of Discovery - which is of course, just across the firth from fabulous Fife. When I heard what was happening there, I very nearly ran round to your place with that bottle of 10yo Glenfarclas - in fact the only thing that stopped me doing that was the fact that I drunk it all within 24 hours of you giving it to me. I sincerely hope that DFC survive this crisis - and I'm sure they will in some shape or form, but please remember if the worst came to the worst (and I'm sure you already know this) you'd be made more than welcome to sit amongst the ICT support at TCS. They eventually (well some of them) accepted me as a supporter after I handed over my hard-earned for a season ticket here. Supporting this club certainly has its ups and downs, but as long as I live in this city, I will continue to support this club. Nothing makes me more angry than the sight of a bus-load decked out in green or blue leaving here en-route to Glasgow. Good luck, and best regards, Jb
  12. Coming from Thurso must also make life difficult for Mahonio. Many years ago I had my very first ever sexual experience in Thurso - an unforgettable moment. Okay, I was on my own at the time but it was still a very special occasion.
  13. I'm not sure how much Darren was involved with the creation of the new Sports Bar - but assuming he was, I would like to thank him for that first class facility, and would suggest he is leaving TCS in a much better state and heart, than it was in when he took over from Mike Smith. Good luck and best wishes for the future.
  14. Naaaah.... Can't see that happening. He wouldn't get a game here unless Rooney and Eric were both injured.
  15. Yeah... Good on ya, Mahonio, although if you'd said what you said about 9 months ago, you would have got a lot of support for it! All the same, I suspect I know how your unfortunate post might have arisen. Years ago I went out with a lovely barmaid from Thurso - She explained to me one night in a moment of unbridled passion, that one of her duties in the hotel/bar she worked in, involved decanting cheap (very cheap) Polish vodka into Smirnoff bottles.... That cheap Polish stuff can cause all manner of hallucinations and numerous other maladies.... You have to be so careful in your part of the world....Just ask IHE... He's an expert on that subject. Have another green dot.
  16. More apologies to Eric - that was a well taken finish. Yeah.... If only you would desist from seeing Eric through that alcoholic haze, you might just realise he is a pretty decent player. You made the same mistake with that Brazilianesque effort of his against the Jambos.... Green dot please!
  17. It would be even scarier putting Proctor in that position....
  18. Exactly SMEE.... And even now, Eric is already more than capable of stepping into his boots as an out and out striker. I also have no doubts that the versatile Nick Ross could play the support role.
  19. Great post, Stan... a tad concise, but it certainly hits the spot. Have a green dot!
  20. Basically I agree with that, but let's not get carried away here - it's not like we've beaten the best team in the league today.
  21. Was Foran captain today? Doesn't sound like he's fully fit yet.
  22. 1-2.... Thank feck for that.... Still some work to be done yet, though....
  23. Correction : Eric's my favourite ICT player!
  24. Eric's rapidly becoming my favourite ICT player! :bouncyred: :bouncyblue:
