Clach 3-4 Inverness CT (FT)
Incredible music over the PA at Grant St last night. Glenn Miller stuff from the big band era...very impressive. Made a nice change from what we get at TCS...eg...Is this the way to Amarillo - every night I've been hugging my pillow... And it's even worse when played at 10,000 decibels on a PA system designed to cope with about a 1000 DB. Obviously a lot of cultured people in the Clachnacuddin area.

Clach 3-4 Inverness CT (FT)
Hayes looked knackered when he went off halfway through the second half - but the two goals - when he showed his team-mates how it should be done - were superb, and must surely be enough to get him on from the start against Celtic. If we have him and Richie on from the start, throwing everything they can at the tics, they will know they've been in a game.

Clach v ICT tonight
I agree Bauhaus If Hayes and Foran are going to be on at some stage I'd expect ICT to just about sneak a result here tonight... by at least 5 or 6 goals. Who's all going?

Team for Sellic
Yeah.... My line-up too, Mabaws... If they are all fully fit on the day, I would confidently expect 3 points from this one.

Foran is no ready
I'm hoping it's at Grant St Park, 'cos that's where I'm going. KO - 7.30pm

Worst website for ICT
I seldom look at any of the sites on that list, as CTO provides me with all the fax and info I need.

Team for Sellic
Now where did you get that info from, young Ken? See here...

Foran is no ready
That is good news.... Hopefully Hayes will feature at some stage in tonight's game with Clach, and will also be rarin' to go on Saturday.

Pinch an SPL player?
Anthony Stokes... I just like the guy and think he's a brilliant striker.
-
Martin O'Neill has resigned
That is astonishing.... Hope he comes back to Scotland.... might even be a managerial vacancy at Parkhead as from this Saturday night.
-
Ref. for Saturday
At least in the game with Rangers at Ibrox he proved he wasn't afraid to give a decision against the OF. On the other hand, maybe he's a Sellic supporter....
-
Ref. for Saturday
You are absolutely right!

Nick Ross
I'm a huge fan of young Nick Ross, but I'm not sure that I'd want to see him on from the start against Celtic. Butcher's Thoughts

The cost of relegation....
"Landed Lucky"..? They are already claiming credit for appointing TB & MM, and more importantly, sticking with them through what was a difficult period. If there was a significant turning point for the club after the Brewster years, it just has to be the signing of Foran and Hayes.
-
Team for Sellic
I understand TB is hoping Hayes will play a part in the Clach game on Tuesday night.... Your team for Sellic would be better with Gillet and Eric in it.

Scotland Squad
Yeah.... He was messing with my wife which made me think there must be something far wrong with his eyesight. :_exclaim:

So why don't you "away" guys make an effort and come to a home game?
-
We need a new announcer
I disagree.... It just needs someone who knows how to operate it. When CD was doing the announcing - especially from the touchline using a radio mike, it was as clear as a bell.

Apologies if that came acrosss as rudeness, CMIB.... I was just trying to make the point that these guys are a special case.... They will obviously be lacking as far as matches played so far this season are concerned, but if they are both physically fit then they should be on from the start. The transformation in our performance today when Blumenshtein came off, and Foran came on was remarkable! In years gone by would you have left players like Denis Law, George Best or Jim Baxter out of your side if it was felt they might be lacking match fitness?

I think part of the problem is that the equipment is being operated by a person or persons who obviously haven't a clue about PA. From my corner in the main stand is sounded like the volume was set at a level the speakers just couldn't cope with. The end product was a distorted mess - it was very hard to make out a single word that was being said.

Team for Sellic
I didn't think these two contributed much this afternoon. Correction.... I don't think they contributed anything this afternoon.

your fans were great, sung their hearts out and looked like they really enjoyed themselves. Made more noise than ive heard from an away support in a long time. Puts a lot of travelling SPL teams supporters to shame thanks ! You see: We didn't lie :_thumbup: Yeah.... Thanks for creating an atmosphere - it actually sounded more like 5000 fans than 150. You could see what it meant to your players as well. lessons to be learned here, methinks.

What utter nonsense!! I take it you've never seen Foran and Hayes playing before? These guys are very talented players. They are the types of player who will win matches for their team irrespective of their "match fitness". If TB leaves these two out for the Celtic game, citing lack of match fitness as a reason, then he's a bl0ody idiot. Foran took precisely 60 seconds today to blast the lack of match fitness theory right out the window. Jonny Hayes is also more than capable of doing the exact same thing.

Just back. Yes it did take Foran a full 60 seconds to find his feet and make an impression on this game. Poor guy is clearly woefully short of match fitness. :_shocked2:
