Aberdeen V Inverness C.T.
A day on since this superb result and It still feels great to put one over our "high flying" northern neighbours. It was a great team performance with star performances from Wlliams, Shinnie and the defence, in particular. Now that we have the addition of Tansey and Vincent on the comeback, we have a squad that is capable of competing strongly for the rest of the season.

Greg Tansey
Very pleased with this addition to the squad. I always rated Tansey as a player and I think he will add some quality to the team.

The assistant manager thread
This could describe another very successful assistant manager ie John Robertson (assistant to Martin O'neil).

The new manager thread
I'm going to trust the Board's judgement on this appointment. I will be giving Yogi my full support and hope that the majority do the same and give him a fair crack of the whip.

That's because the Heathmount punters don't have the same access to inside info anymore.

Scottish Cup 2014 - Fourth Round draw
But County will ony have an "official" crowd of 800 if previous cup ties are anything to go by, so the police should be able to handle it.

Richie Foran Signs On With ICT!
I just hope the new manager rates him But seriously, this is a superb bit of buisness by the Board and sends a marker out that our strong squad will not be broken up without a fight.

The new manager thread
Still waiting to see the full list of genuine candidates but so far it is beteween Shiels and Hartley, for me. I did also think Levein would be good for us but apparently we can't get near the money he's looking for and so will not be considered for the job, unless he gets serious about getting back to work and is prepared to accept a more realistic salary.

Kenny Cameron - Award
Our excellent Chaiman, Kenny Cameron has been named chief executive of the year for the Scottish premiership. The award has been made by FCBusiness website and magazie. I don't know how infuentential this website is bt I do think the award is very well deserved - well done.

Great news and well done to the Board.

The new manager thread
He is outspoken, and as I said earlier, a pain in the neck at times. But he was also a good manager who won the league cup so he must be doing something right. If you look the links at the bottom of the Retard's article you will see that the fans didn't want him to go and even on Saturday they were singing his name. I suspect if he was given the job it would be much less vocal Mr Shiels but no less effective for it.

Announcement re Managerial Situation
My understanding is that he staying until the end of the season and will then be moving to another club (not Hibs). This may have changed in the last 24 hours and I stand to be corrected.

The new manager thread
It will be interesting to hear who will be genuine candidates and I'm sure there will be the usual suspects among them. At the moment I think Kenny Shields would be good fit for us. He is very community minded, tries to give young players a chance in the 1st team and likes to see football played on the deck. I know he can be an outspoken pain in the neck at times but I think he may be a bit more reserved afer his experience at Killie. I also would have no problem with Craig Leivein, if he's interested. Paul Hartley may also be worth a go if the Board is going down the young and upcoming manager route.

MAURICE MALPAS WANTS THE JOB SUNDAY MAIL
Heard from a very reliable source that Marcella is going to stay until the end of the season and then will move to another club (not Hibs). This outcome will be the same regardless if Butcher goes or stays. As for Mo taking on the manager's job, I'm coming round to the idea but it will be interesting to see the other candidates.

Top Of The Pops......BUT!
I'm longing for the glory days of scrapping about in a relegation dogfight. No other teams are interested in your manager or players and ambition is to get the first win of the season before September is out. Oh yes those were the days

A very well deserved award to our fantastic captain. His form this season has inspired the rest of the team to perform so well.
