Very sad news indeed. His posts were always worth reading.

A superb team performance which they all should be proud of. Considering the dreadful weather, I thought the team produced some great passing moves. A special mention must go to Foran who was immense. If the team continues to show this will to win then the remaining part of the season is going to be very enjoyable.

A great team effort today which sets down a marker for the rest of season. Taking the Pars result into account the team should now be looking up the table rather than down. Golabart seems to be coming on to great form. A special mention to Tade whose goal was superb. Bbc Alba, can you show our matches every week beacause we always win when you televise the game.

Lets get things into perspective we are 1 point behind the Pars and Hibs despite suffering a horrendous injury spell which is only now starting to recede. I am not being complacent and am obviously not happy at being bottom but 2 good results could move us up a couple of places. Butcher has done a great deal over the last few years to demonstrate that he is a good manager and I have no doubt that he and Malpas will get the team moving in the right direction.

The guy probably saved the club and totally secured our SPL status - BUT he had his own agenda and fair dos to him - BUT for the good of this club he should bow out - as perhaps he should have done in 2006. I have all the time for devotees but little for narcissists trying to save face. Jojndo, there's no "probably" about it - he did save and advance the club.

I speak as someone who was a keen observer and participant in the birth of the merger. In my opinion and to cut a long story short, Caley on its own would not have got the funding (or site) for a new stadium. It therefore would have, at best, got into the 2nd division but no chance of the SPL. I actually voted against the merger at the Muirton meeting but now have no regrets that the merger was absolutely the correct path to follow. I relish the memories of the many fantastic highs(and forget the lows)over the past 17 years and look forward to many more good times again.

I'm sorry he hasn't signed for us and I think may come to regret not doing so.

Scotty, a good shout with Paul Ritchie. I remember being at an away game in Perth which wasn't going too well and Paul came on as a sub and got dogs abuse from our fans on his first touch. He had many critics in regard to his work rate but as far as I'm concerned his goal scoring record speaks volumes and his contribution should not be underestimated. As for other under-rated players, how about Daisy Ross - he never got the credit he deserved.

If we had a few more Forans in the side we would be a shoe-in for top 6.

Great news and an excellent result which vindicates the Board's stance. One down one to go and hopefully the club can then move on from this unfortunate case.

How about Forans's overhead kick in injury time last year which vitually sealed promotion.

Very sad news indeed. ICT have lost a true fan and the caley social club will not be the same without him. Hamish, it was an honour to know you.

I'm delighted that Hayes has signed (especially that it's 2 years). I feel that the combination of Hayes, Rooney and Foran will become even stronger next season. For me, the jury is out on Sanchez and he has to make a bigger contribution and give the ball away less.

Foran is the key signing and with him on board we will do fine next season. I fully expect the other players to sign up shortly.

The nil nil draw at Dingwall in March was a vital result. We were without Foran that day and Butcher got his tactics spot on to stifle County. If County had won. they would have been in a commanding position.
