  2. Oh Well by Fleetwood Mac.........from circa 69...............with a little twist In fact, here is a great version by the fabulous Tom Petty................go Tom Oh Well, feck you Dundee you'll never win the league I can't help about the shape I'm in I can't sing, I ain't pretty and my legs are thin But don't ask me what I think of you I might not give the answer that you want me to Oh well "Feck you Dundee you'll never win the league" and the other reason is I like the song.
  3. See the post above yours Don.
  4. Zoggs mate Kieran would like a seat for return journey, Ayr to Inverness, willing to pay full cost. Billy the Fish says aye to the Ayr pie. He is going.
  5. For me, this has been the most exciting season ever, better than the last promotion. The last time we sneaked up at the last moment, this time we have enjoyed the depths of despair, the chase, the catch up the overtake and the cruise into the distance. It has taken most people by surprise, but we were always in contention, albeit a bit further off the pace than most fans would have liked. The weather has also played it's part as games in hand and points in the bag made the table a bit skew-wiff. It's all come together perfectly, against all odds part two.
  6. tm4tj & zogg, and probably Billy the Fish.

    Roy McBain

It was the managers reluctance to play him thatn has almost lost us this league. Is this good judgement or good luck. Roy should have played against County when we were crying out for someone who knows what these games are about. Still, alls well that ends well.
  8. It's another fair assessment Johndo, although we really tore into them in the second half. The stats tell their own story. Esson did make two or three crucial saves, what a keeper he has turned out to be. Rooney was too isolated in the first half, but we upped our game in the second half and despite Esson making a superb save and block, the Pars keeper was by far the busier and Rooney's dipper produced a great save. Rossco header blocked, Sanchez dithering as he never had the confidence to hit it first time, overall we really deserved to win comfortably, but the first half was, well, poor. Agree about Roy, he filled Cox's boots and looked like he is supposed to be playing every week. In fact, had he been playing earlier in the season we would be champs by now. Eric had his best game yet and grew in confidence once we went ahead. he must have been close to MoM as well. Hard to down anyone after such a comprehensive attacking display in the second half.

  10. Would be this one Audacity
  11. Relegation was not all bad. To be honest, the relegation wake was much better fun than yesterdays celebration which was a bit dour. It forced us to reshape and we have brought in some cracking players.
  12. Celtic
  13. For the newbies to come in today and play so well they along with Eric get my votes. Nobody underperformed and Eric has his finest game in an ICT shirt. so from me, it's Roy Eric Bully
  14. A full blooded Thin Lizzy, The Boys Are Back In Town............................ ......................just to remind everyone that we are back at a town near you very soon.
  15. I'm more handsome in real life, don't you think?
  16. Wow..............it's the toilet stalker :P
  17. How to make an old man very happy, or was it a happy man very old. Whatever, just a great day to be an ICT fan. Thank you so much everybdy.
  18. Wheres Iain. Whatever happened to the poll asking if Dundee were better than us??? I don't need any pie thanks, I'm just a happy clapper. From the first 2-2 draw with Dundee, the writing was on the wall, we outplayed them in their own backyard, we even outplayed them in the Alba Cup. It did look unlikely that we would make it to the top at one point due to our poor early season form and the players learning how to play as a unit. But from the 1-1 draw at Palmerston I thought we would top the league around the end of February, this took a little longer because of the weather, but it was worth the wait. Enjoy it guys and girls, this is a notoriously difficult league to win, and to do it at the first time of asking is almost unheard of. It matters not a jot what any of us thought, it's what happened on the park that counts.

Brilliant to see Roy on the park yesterday. That was the one area where we needed his experience and energy and he let nobody down yesterday. Great performance from him, I am so chuffed for him. Still full of running after ninety minutes.
  20. Dundee's relentless march to the title is all but over. They are almost static now. No amount of huffing and puffing will re-inflate that bubble. Can I just than Jocky Scott, Leigh Griffith, and Gordon Chisholm for creating the best season ever, and Heilan Dee for putting up with the insults. I forgot how good hangovers felt, especially when championships are involved...............

  22. Doctors, hmmmnn, are you pregnant caleyrule?
  23. It might only need to be 9 goals which would be an 18 goal swing.................
  24. Keddie and Maxwell spring to mind . Nothing dubious about Keddie, unless you were in the County end. What was the Maxwell one again, was that the foul which led to the penalty, if so, same.

Aye, no use having excellent stats if ye cannae count Alex.
