  1. :025: It certainly deserves better. I like the raw sound of the Gibson, although it depends who is playing the guitars. For instance, Rory Gallagher was just superb as was SRV. Horses for course, they both have their merits.
  2. wow, feel the love on here :025:
  3. I don't play, but both my sons can get a tune out of their guitars. crusher has US Fender lead guitar and a Fender Jazz Bass. Young zogg prefers his fender copy (squire)........how odd. But, I am the daddy.............I bought a Les Paul Gibson, with 50's style neck in beautiful mahogany sunburst, stunning looking machine. I just look at it and purr.
  4. All said and done, I only saw the last 40 minutes, but well done Scotland and two cracking goals with Faddies a treat to watch.
  5. HT: 1-0 FT: 3-1 1st Scorer ICT: Munro 1st Scorer Opp: Buchanan Crowd: 3318
  6. Careful gordyfrom, the case has been continued until 13th October and a trial date has been set for 10th November.
  7. Another Spanish stroll (well Chile won't fit) for Murray after Mink de Ville gave him a wake up call in the second set. Murray turned up the heat, cut out the unforced errors and cruised into the next round. Next up for Murray is Taylor Dent on Sunday.
  8. Alexander Graham Bell John Logie Baird Alexander Fleming John Napier John Boyd Dunlop Mark Knopfler Jimmy Shand Mary Queen of Scots And the ICT connection, Thomas Telford.
  9. Thanks Roger. It is heartbreaking to see you guys on the TV, knowing what the likely outcome may be. We are all still hoping for a miracle. Keep strong.
  10. erm......erm.........maybe somebody did.
  11. I am not being nasty here...................but maybe, just maybe, no matter how much most of us would have liked Dale to have stayed and become a Caley Thistle legend, is it possible that he was not going to reach the standard required............ ..............life can be tough at times, but I am sure Dale will come back a better player for this. He scored one of the best goals I have ever witnessed at Forres against Elgin to win the NoS cup (i think) a couple of years ago..........superb first time volley into the top corner from 25 yards, what a stunning goal.
  12. They did not all manage against the same standard of opposition, therefore it's not a level playing field. Pele does stand out as the main man, but he never managed in the SPL. Who knows, he may have been successful, but I doubt his stats would have looked quite so impressive. We all enjoyed the Pele era, but that is history. It's like mentioning that England won the world cup in 1966.
  13. Thanks for sharing that with us.
  14. I suppose it is not off topic, and thats a big BOOOO for a young loon, it sums up the feelings of some of the fans though.
  15. That was a new paragraph, but if the cap fits wear it. boo back at ye.
  16. 5th stand, don't take words out of context. I am fully aware that they mean the same, the comment was aimed at the words before the comma, we are playing pish just now. Which implied we are not playing well. But, the week before we played pretty good in the city of discovery. Nobody is asking anyone to go along, either good or bad football being played. I'm afraid you pay your money you take yer chance. However, as a season ticket holder I will be attending as many games as I can to support the team, good or bad, it might not always best please me, but thats why we have a forum, to discuss the good and the bad. If booing is your thing, best to direct it towards the management and not individuals. Would it be ok for the players to start booing sections of the home crowd, lets say the young guys at the rear of section G, the self proclaimed hard core of ICT fans, the ones who only do good and start all the songs ever sung at Inverness. georgeios.........Scotty was a lot closer than Canada for the County game..............
  17. is it amnes1a
  18. Surprised one or two saying it was a dive/soft etc. I would have been no more than 25 metres from the incident and was gobsmacked when the ref just waved play on. Rooney was bulldozed to the ground, no doubt in my mind.
  19. Last week yes, the week before no. Lack of scorers is a problem, lets hope Foran hits the target soon. We don't score, we start defending deeper and the opposition gains confidence from this.
  20. We were not lucky to draw with Dundee or Ayr. The Dunfermline result was probably justice done considering the amount of misses Rooney had on his own. Even Lionel managed to scrape the post ( at the correct end). We have disposed of lesser teams in the wee cups, Montrose managing a draw with a late goal. Chit happens. We are all hurting, but at the end of the day it is still only three points, albeit a demoralising three points. I say get over it, in fact we can't do anything else. What are the options. Go along and put up with it, then moan like fekk. Go along and boo our own players then moan like fekk. Don't go along at all but still moan like fekk. Or just come on here and moan like fekk. Just be happy you are healthy enough to go along and watch a wee game of football.
  21. Do people still get excited about forthcoming Scotland games? I will watch, but the enthusiasm has long gone.
  22. First game out of the way. Gulbis is a tough hard hitting opponent and Murray did well to contain him. With the right coaching Gulbis could go to the top. As it was, Murray had to weather the storm then strike at the right time. Good win for Murray against a player who when on his game is no pushover.
  23. Stand by your couch Mr potato, he will be on in the wee sma hours.
  24. Aye, no worries P, eveybody and his dog have had a go at the team after the rubbish on Saturday, I thought I would look on the other side of the coin. At the end of the day we were well humped, but................did that decision dishearten us, oh dear, it's not going to be our day, and give County the lift they needed at that point of the game to go upfield and kill us off. It would appear to be the latter, but as I alluded to earlier, nobody gives a monkeys due to the overall performance and the overall result.
  25. Thanks for your input P I asked if anyone thought it was a penalty as it has been somewhat overshadowed by other events on the day. Like it or not, it did happen and it may or may not have changed the outcome, however, we had the impetus at that moment and may or may not have seen off County from that point. That particular incident has caused unrest amongst our fans and some people questioning the management teams capabilities. Lionel has been castigated and about eight others have been brought to task. All I am saying is that we could have had a very different outcome but for a dubious decision.
