  2. Have to say this sums up what I see very clearly. Having experienced some poor results, Yogi now gets the chance to impose a little bit of his own character on the team against Motherwell. Until now he has been careful not to rock a successful boat too much but the supporters should join him in making changes to bury the Butcher dictatorship.
  3. Hopefully those who have given of their time will be rewarded with a positive response from fans.
  4. Here, here!
  5. A lot of County supporters do not like spending money at ICT FC. If we can get into beating them this year, they may get their wish next year. Should we get a result tomorrow, and should Hearts win the derby in the capital, young Adams might be worried that he is in a hole that looks quite dark. They key for us is to wrestle the points onto our board tomorrow.
  6. We need to make sure our defenders watch this guy if he is still with Stranraer........ http://www.stranraerfc.org/index.php/squad-info?id=231
  7. Poor positioning by the referee!! In rugby they avoid being sucked into the scrum. Actually thought Crawford had a pretty good game as referee.
  8. 8-12 weeks!!

  10. ICT is great little club and this is yet more recognition that success comes from hard work and determination.
  11. Aberdeen claim they have sold out their allocation with some supporters expecting to pay on the gate for the wing too. The weather looks a bit wet and windy. It will be an honour to welcome such an elite aspiring Scotland's number two team to our diddy wind swept park!!
  12. Never underestimate the diddy team: http://www.eveningtimes.co.uk/celtic/young-hoops-seek-win-boost-145816n.22983810
  13. I think Fagin Tremarco will take care of the Artful Dodger. The crowd will do its best to wind up Alfred Jingle Robson. We can but hope referee Scrooge Maclean will see the error of his ways and donate a Christmas turkey of a penalty to the poor Inverness Cratchett family and contrary to how that story ends see the poor family also go on and defeat Celtic in memory of Tiny Tim.
  14. Great cabaret! It was a pity when the MC, Lord Richie of Dublin, put the mike down. On a personal level I wanted to ask Graham what his brother's Christian name is - to check to see if the bet is still on. And yes Yogi did pick up a fixed penalty during his interview for the job so we need some extra special support against Aberdeen this Saturday. They already believe they are the runners up to Celtic this year so we need a real big push to get that out of their minds.
  15. Ross County 1 Motherwell 2 Possession RC 44% Motherwell 56% Shots RC 14 Motherwell 18 On target RC 4 Motherwell 5 From the defeated hallucinating Manager: “We totally dominated. With the chances we created, we obviously deserved to win,” Adams said. “We battered Motherwell today and should have won by four or five today. That’s disappointing. The opening goal straight after we hit the bar is the kind of thing that has happened to us this season.’’ Ross County are away to Dundee United this Saturday!!!
  16. One reason why we must respect Ross County on New Year's Day! They stole our thunder last season so this year we need to be more vigilant.
  17. Here is a top Christmas cracker ready for tomorrow night: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Hsq0c646O0
  18. It is interesting that this has come after Butcher and Malpass headed off to the bright lights in order to savour new restaurants and wine bars. Our players were certainly unsettled before and just after the Hibernian AGM which is not a coincidence, and now they are settled again. They will though need to be on top form against Aberdeen who genuinely believe they will finish second this year and expect to meet either Hearts or ourselves in the League Cup Final. Let's hope there is a bumper crowd.
  19. After 6 games without a win, and a 2-1 home defeat by Kilmarnock, these are the thoughts of a top(?) Manager: Ross County manager Derek Adams : "The positive that I took was the way we kept possession and Kilmarnock. "We had 60 per cent possession. We passed the ball 515 times to their 270.'' "So we had a lot of good possession, but now we need to advance that and change that into goals.'' "And we have to stop conceding goals that could be prevented." Maybe that is how you talk to Dutch players!!!
  20. Not to be underestimated. Their manager has received two consecutive MOMs. Good result for them against Clyde.
  21. 19 May 2013 Ross County boss Derek Adams revels in derby win. "We've come from the First Division," continued Adams. "We thoroughly dominated the match and obviously the beach balls are burst today.'' 11 July 2013 Ross County manager Derek Adams expects his side to be more "direct" this term. 12 July 2013 Ross County manager Derek Adams expects his side to be even more attacking this season as he looks to build on last term's heroics. 15 July 2013 Derek Adams uninpressed with Ross County pre-season-“It didn’t work very well for us. We didn’t play well today, there were a lot of players with below-par performances so I think today’s game didn’t work at all for us as a pre-season exercise.' 22 August 2013 Derek Adams says Ross County have the budget to add to his squad but has backed his present players to end their poor start to the season on Saturday. In the immediate aftermath of their third straight defeat , the County manager had warned that underperforming players could leave the Dingwall club. 18 October 2013 ROSS County manager Derek Adams is confident he has enough defensive cover after allowing Grant Munro to quit the club. 9 November 2013 Ross County manager Derek Adams expects his players to cope better with crossed balls after conceding four headed goals. 16 November 2013 Ross County manager Derek Adams has refused to read too much into their position in the Scottish Premiership so early in the season. 18 November 2013 “When we had nine men I actually thought we were playing great.'' 21 November 2013 Ross County chairman Roy MacGregor promises money to manager Derek Adams. 24 November 2013 Ross County performances impresses manager Derek Adams. 7 Dec 2013 Derek Adams: Ross County defence must improve "We haven't started the season well enough this year." 22. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aRRGF-WAAdQ Four SPL Managers in one match!!! Yogi the hero courtesy of Peter Grant!!
  23. Having seen the incident live from the front row of the main stand , I have to agree with the referees association that his punishment is an absolute disgrace. At the time a number of us felt the referee should have handed him at least a second red card for laying his hands on the assistant referee and that it was the worse incident I had ever seen. A straight red secures a three game ban and whilst legal issues may have helped his case, the end result sends the wrong message out to footballers (and Dundee United's management, who will feel argued his case successfully).
  24. Fickle supporters (I have witheld names) but for Yogi's benefit, Terry and Mo had a similar welcome to some of the early posts on here. I actually rate Yogi but I can see where some reservations are coming from. Anyone new to Inverness gets a fiery welcome. Yogi is man enough to take it. He has to succeed in this job full-stop. I believe he will. Looking back: January 2009 ''Butchers managerial record is mediocre to say the least. Also in his previous posts his man management skills came into question on numerous occasions!!''''Great news if he has been offered it but malpas is cr*p as an assistant.''''I'm not happy with this at all. It would have been so much better to have had Robbo in place - assisted by anyone such as Duncan Shearer, Bazza, CC, DP, etc... guys for whom Caley Thistle actually means something...'' From the Sun:''The ex-Hearts ace (Robbo) planned to take local legend Barry Wilson with him as his No2.'' ''In your dreams, he has never!! been a success , and lets be honest under George Burley, with him as a gob and no 2, Scotland have not set the world on fire!!! so the board have appointed a parasite, relying on past plaudits, oh dear, where do we go from here???? DOWN!!!!'' ''I have never seen so much negativity over a manager's appointment at Inverness CT. I wasnt totally sure about his appointment but im more than willing to give him a chance.'' May 2009 ''I wasn't very over excited when TB and MM were appointed and thought we could have done a lot better.'' September 2009 ''Can we afford Butcher and Malpas in the First Division? Surely there's a get out clause. Butcher out now, Bring back Robbo!'' April 2012 ''Terry and Mo still have a chance to save themselves but only if they are wiser in the market this summer.''
  25. Sounds a good theory - he has only posted on the new Manager subject and perhaps expects to see the headline 'The Eagle has Landed' but will Owen Coyle come in at the last minute and steal the prize? Then ask Yogi to be his number 2 again?
