Tokely set to sign this week http://www.inverness-courier.co.uk/news/fu....php/aid/12643/ If this is true, it will be fantastic news. To me Tokely as a central defender is the Darren Dodds or Bobby Mann of yester year. It would then enable new players to work for positions and see us move forward with a strong core.

Is Green not paid about ?40,000 per week to stop a football trickling over the line? Does he not have an expensive coach telling him to get his hands in place before the ball arrives and as a precaution get his body behind the shot? It used to be Scottish keepers who were ridiculed. Now we have a range of highly paid English keepers who drop the ball for their opponents, do air kicks and watch the ball trickle past and now ones who turnip with oily gloves! The yanks have in recent weeks not enjoyed the sight of oily gloves but they did yesterday. Green Energy!

Rossco, You are just a young 'un, so here's some help. Darren Dodds left ICT at a later time. He has now had his rewards but his move was sensible. ICT struggled. If you have one outstanding season in the SPL you will still get some top offers and still have 3 or so years left in top class football if you take the chance to become a top central defender. Going elsewhere will possibly be a disaster. Denzil is now in the wilderness. So, one or two more years, become a top central defender and who knows, Davy Weir may be your role model. He left it late to start as a pro and is now doing a super duper Brewster. Position wise you are between two stools and career wise between two stools. You are worshipped at the TCS but elsewhere things will be sweet but could turn turnip shaped very quickly. See you against Antwerp my boy, C1C3

If Lennon's appointment is about bringing back the thunder at Celtic Park, we should pull out all the stops at the Caledonian Stadium. Remember this? http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t..._ct/3588898.stm Juanjo wins red card appeal Juanjo was involved in an incident with Celtic's Neil Lennon. Inverness Caledonian Thistle winger Juanjo has won his appeal against the red card he received against Celtic last weekend. Juanjo had been accused of a head butt against Celtic's Neil Lennon, who was previously cleared of any wrongdoing. But the Scottish FA video review panel decided that the Spaniard was wrongly dismissed by referee Dougie McDonald. Juanjo is now free of suspension and will be available to face Dundee United at Tannadice on Saturday. He had been shown the red card after fourth official Alan Freeland drew the incident to McDonald's attention. No action against Lennon Caley Thistle manager John Robertson had been bemused as to why Juanjo was sent off while Lennon escaped punishment after the pair clashed. "The fourth official has seen something, but the referee has only sent our guy off," he said. "Neil Lennon raised his hand and Juanjo's done something back. "The fourth official says he saw a movement of Juanjo's head towards Lennon, but that is clearly not what happened in this incident."

It would seem polite to contact his family to hear their thoughts. For instance, they might have a preferred charity linked to mountain rescue and might wish the club to erect a permanent picture as shown on the summit in the Stadium.

http://news.scotsman.com/scotland/Scots-cl...left.6334166.jp 'Mr Kinloch, who climbed his first Scottish mountain at the age of two and began bagging Munros a year later, always wore a hat and scarf in the colours of Inverness Caledonian Thistle.' What an inspiration?

That looks like his width! Clearly trying to show Terry he's of the same never say die spirit though.

The SPL Fixtures are due out on 17 June 2010. http://www.scotprem.com/content/default.asp?page=s49 It seems an age since we awaited the Partick court case and then had to go to Aberdeen for Home games. We should start off with better crowds this time around.

Adams angry as Dundee United put Wee County in the shade.
-
He said he did not like the travelling. He nevertheless played well and would probably blend with players he knows.
-
Despite Esson's outstanding season Butcher and he do not see eye to eye so competition may be academic. Tuffey would certainly be useful and add a further Irish blend to the team.

Ross County are seeking a route planner for their open bus tour of the Highlands and possibly beyond. This tour will take place on Monday 17 May 2010. Bus designs should include a raised platform to allow the masses including native sheep to view the Scottish Cup. In terms of route, Buckfast is unlikely to be an option. Most of Inverness will be a no go area. Dingwall has limited turning space and is likely to be awash with secret police for this prestigious event. Details of your bid may be posted on this website or sent under cover to The Adams Family, Welldoneyoujammyrivals, Tinkville, Caleyforever.

Judging Miss Inverness is all part of the package for Richie.

Terry has been working on French red wine suppliers. We could try this 'Jean-R?n? Matignon Les Tourelles De Longueville 2006 ' That would confuse the away supporters. Therefore we could use it at home and have 'Asda Premium Reds' on the away strip. Richie has sponsorship from a T shirt company - see Inverness Courier under 'Its tough but someone has to do it..' If all the players had the T shirt wording it would put ICT firmly on the map. It looks like 'Now will you ....?'

Justice. Our boys did not deserve relegation last year but at least have have winners medals for their troubles. Can see Falkirk losing a lot of players soon. Pressley may have pushed Eddie May out but it will be interesting to see if he now survives.

With little Leigh in trouble with the Polis the word 'release' suggest they were either incarcerated or traumatised. Bob Malcolm was a disaster for them. I doubt if Hart will make it back to Ross County - what has he achieved this season? It does seem unfair, this is the team that came second in the league behind a top class set of players, and the management of Dundee lay all the blame on 16 people plus Jocky.

Falkirk Chairman "Inverness have done what I thought was impossible: to go down and come straight back up." We have generally got more points out of Killie so Falkirk's loss will be our gain. Killie need this result more than Falkirk because I do genuinely believe they may go into administration if they go down. We also need to start winning against the Two Jimmies. Assuming Falkirk go where they should have gone last year, what will Pressly say then - 'I told you we were too good to go down but heyho even Elvis cannot always sing the right tunes!'"Alright, Okay, You Win" Chic Young 'surely Fools Rush In (Where Angels Fear to Tread)?'

Richie loves his fishing in the Highlands. In fact the Dubliners wrote a song about him: ''He was fond of casting his hook / In among all the young fishes. ...''

You forgot to say paying off Barrowman was another masterstroke. Our forwards started scoring regularly after he was leveraged off the payroll.

The problem seems to be one of accounting transparency. It seems odd that the true picture has just emerged but more information on this is likely to follow. Here is a direct quote from the Dundee Forum to show that some clubs never learn http://www.dundeefc.co.uk/dfcforum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=26371 : ''All accounts for limited companies are available through Companies House, DFC's being no different. I have them in PDF form but have no idea how to provide a link here as you would need login details to access any website with Companies House information. Send me your email address and I'll forward on a copy of them if you like. The accounts aren't particularly healthy but then I suppose everyone could have guessed that. The auditors have put an emphasis of matter on the going concern of the entity due to the net deficit on the balance sheet and the continuing losses. However, included within the directors' report is the following: "If the club is unsuccessful in securing promotion to the SPL, then budgets have been prepared showing a significant operating deficit which could only be funded with the support of one of the directors. This support has been confirmed for at least one period until the end of the 2010/2011 season." It doesn't take a genius to work out who the mystery director could be and anyone questioning whether CM will wander off should take heart from this.'' Kilmarnock appear to have quite seroius financial problems as do Rangers, Aberdeen and Hearts to name but a few SPL teams. The lesson from Pompey should be sound trading and action by League governing bodies perhaps a bit stronger than the points deductions for administration.

Well done to Inverness: worthy champions!
CELTIC1CALEY3 replied to DundeeFCchampions's topic in Caley Thistle
Thanks. We've had enough of relegation so it is unlikely we will meet Dundee in the leagues again for a while unless there is SPL reconstruction. Melville cannot go on pumping in ?1.5m a season. Dundee supporters deserve success but I cannot see them buying it. Ross County like a stack of sides will provide very tough opposition next year. The SFL is a very tough league and we basically respect all teams in it. Dundee could learn a lesson there rather than parading themselves as an SPL in the wrong league. -

From now on we are one Club and enter the SPL again all going in the right direction. It is right to offer praise to the Board. They will have taken the justified criticism on the chin.

I am not sure if others have picked it up but the run started just after Butcher and Burley were sacked by Scotland. We gave Dundee a little cup for their Multi-millionaire Chairman to show off and then decided to go on a long run. Certainly on Boxing Day when the snow clearer's efforts were almost ruined by Lionel chopping Griffiths in the furthest corner of the box by the touchline and handing them an equaliser things did not look too good. However, the victory over Ross County was am important turning point because they are probably the second best team in the League and certainly the best we have played.
