  1. Raith need to win this Saturday and believe they can succeed next year.
  2. http://taboard.com/forum/index.php?showtop...p;mode=threaded Sky Sports assessment of Dundee!
  3. To all fair minded County supporters, if Alex Keddie had timed his tackle better, this might never have happened.
  4. Apparently we may be able to erect a re-possessed stand: See ROSS County are gearing up for life in the SPL: http://www.highland-news.co.uk/news/fullst...PL_stadium.html See also http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alice's_A...s_in_Wonderland
  5. Richie Foran reflects on Inverness CT 1 Dundee 1 on Dec 27 2009 where TERRY BUTCHER reckoned he couldn't believe his eyes after seeing his Inverness side fail to beat Dundee for the third time this season. But despite dropping more points to the league leaders the Caley Thistle gaffer remains convinced his men can still claw back the 12-point gap and pip the Dens men to the title. Richie offers Butcher secret vaseline solution to start Dundee slide.
  6. Bob the Builder, can you fix it? From the Daily Record ''FORMER Rangers and Scotland defender Bob Malcolm has been banned from driving after being found fast asleep and drunk in the middle lane of a motorway. From the BBC ''The former Rangers utility man joined the Dee until the end of the season from Australian side Brisbane Roar. "It's very important for me to get back to the SPL," Malcolm told BBC Scotland. " The 29-year-old will be included in the Dundee squad for the first time when Raith Rovers visit Dens Park. "It's going to be a tough game and Raith Rovers will see it the same as us - a great opportunity to get to Hampden. "And then when you get to the cup final you're virtually guaranteed getting into Europe as you normally have to play one of the Old Firm. It's also a good opportunity for the whole team to get a medal. That's what we play for." Last night: ''The match was delayed 15 minutes in Kirkcaldy after the Dundee team bus broke down outside the main stand'' ????? Losing your way?
  7. The Scottish Premier League have confirmed the 2010-11 Clydesdale Bank Premier League season will kick off on August 14.
  8. Chisholm went for goals and what did he get?
  9. I actually feel sorry for the Dundee supporters - their players are driven by Melville's money when they should be grafting for people dedicated to their club - Dee for Life are the real losers tonight.
  10. Quick, check to see if Geddes is properly registered.
  11. 'Beleagured Inverness hope for a Butcher bounce' 1 February 2009 'Inverness stun Rangers at Ibrox as Celtic go three points clear' 05 March 2009 'Inverness CT 0 - 1 Falkirk: Highland fling ends with a fall' 24 May 2009 Tomorrow never comes so we need it in the bag as soon as possible. A draw tonight would be fine but Raith appear to be struggling player wise so Dundee have a chance to start going for broke. If Dundee win and Ayr produce a top class performance while Dundee entertain an even weaker Raith things could hot up.
  12. Happy birthday and here's hoping this season is just a trial run for next year.
  13. A lot obviously depends on the budget. Within the budget players should get offered the best possible deal. Overheads will be lower because of the imposed cutbacks this year. It probably means a lot to the players to avoid the curse of leaving the Club - there's poor Mikey slipping up and gifting the 7,000th SPL goal to the Arabs before a weak attempt at punching a volley to safety and a pub team dive to miss Conway's modest shot. Markey is a richer man but his sedentary lifestyle shows no sign of changing. Don Cowie is close to relegation after a good start.
  14. Does anyone have any medicine to bottle for Chis? http://www.pressandjournal.co.uk/Article.a...697297?UserKey= Is this what the Dundee fans want? http://www.ehow.com/how_14963_treat-diarrhea.html

  16. Alex Keddie Boobs again
  17. The big question is whether Chis will turn up having on 28 March 2010 said: 'Do you think Inverness can handle the pressure of being top? I think not. Inverness will not be able to handle it.'
  18. Killie play at home to Falkirk on the last day of the season. I would like to see Falkirk three points behind Killie, four behind St Mirren and a goal difference of 4 with Killie. I would to see Falkirk winning 4-0, their fans singing 'we're staying up' but with one minute of added time remaining against 9 man Killie find Killie pump a poor aimless cross into the box for it to strike the referee and go into the net sending Falkirk down. Unfortunately Killie go to St Mirren next week and also travel to Aberdeen with a dreadful away record. Somehow I think Killie will go down and thereafter go into administration.

  20. Spare a thought for this inspired change of management: Dundee land Gordon Chisholm as new boss Mar 22 2010 Euan McArthur DUNDEE last night appointed Gordon Chisholm as their new boss just 24-hours after sacking Jocky Scott. The Dens Park side wasted no time in getting Chisholm in from Queen of the South. He will now take charge of his first game on Tuesday against his former club in a crunch promotion clash at Dens Park . Dundee are still three points clear of their main rivals with nine games left but the board sacked Scott after a poor run of form that culminated in Saturday's 3-0 defeat to bottom-dogs Airdrie. Chisholm, who has signed a two-year deal, will be assisted by former Dundee and Rangers star Billy Dodds. Chisholm said: "When the chance came up it was something Doddsy and I were desperate to do. We've got history here and this is a big club moving in the right direction. "It's strange taking over a club at the top of a league. It's usually the other way around. 22 March 2010 - ?We've got the best players, the best squad and, we think, the best management team in the First Division. So we see no reason why we shouldn't be promoted.? Dens Park director Calum Melville says new manager Gordon Chisholm's aim is to win this season's First Division but he can have another go next year if he fails.
  21. Quite a remarkable turnaround! Richly deserved for the way the team have gelled and worked for the common cause. The Dundee players have the consolation that financially they are better rewarded but many of them will not win an SFL medal. Success is not just about monetary rewards but I hope those who want to play in the SPL next season sign new contracts and receive their rewards with ICT. We have had a bit of luck in this run none more so than some of today's decisions plus Ryan's crucial and fortunate saves. We deserved some luck after last year. Hopefully 'the muppets' as the upper half of the club has been described do get praise for steadying the ship but hopefully they too have learned some useful lessons. Well here's hoping Dundee do not hump Raith 6-0, 6-0, Ayr hump us 3-0, and Dundee hump us 2-0. Come on Raith! Please find some strength.
  22. Where did Lionel come?
  23. Brewster had as much vision as Mr MaGoo!
  24. Can you imagine what the CaleyThistle players would say if their Manager resorted to making up nice little stories to help them win a game: http://www.pressandjournal.co.uk/Article.aspx/1689795/ No wonder the Dons are rock bottom - he should send Zander to look for his marbles! He described Langfield as his prize asset a few weeks back and yet his recent performance suggested Terry's dog could be a better goal keeper.
  25. What happens if Dunfermline win 2-0 and Dundee win 1-0?
