  1. Davie Weir took a while to start his professional career.
  2. http://www.overthebridge.info/showthread.php?tid=509 Rosco's move is screwing up the aspiring 2012/13 SPL champions more than it is ICT. He could still be a loose cannon planted by Terry.
  3. http://www.thisissomerset.co.uk/Robins-target-Warren-moves-Caley/story-16283238-detail/story.html
  4. Be positive - the SPL could be absolutely exciting without Rangers. Reduced Policing costs will be a big cost saving for all clubs.
  5. Jonny is a tricky little guy. I wonder what Aberdeen's excuse will be if he comes back and slips his markers and scores with ICT?
  6. http://www.scotsman.com/scotland-on-sunday/sport/rangers-administration-end-game-nears-for-fallen-icon-1-2320897 ''The clear implication of Doncaster’s remarks is that the rules don’t allow further sanctions on Rangers at this time, but should the club be found guilty of having operated a dual contract system, then Rangers will be heavily punished next season.''
  7. Rangers as a man of straw should be arguing that HMRC would be better chasing the recipients of tax free loans. This is a very good article: http://www.scotzine.com/2012/05/desperate-measures-from-rangers-as-they-head-to-court-of-session/ which paints a picture of the sinking ship potentially taking others down if it cannot get its way. The summer of 2012 is likely to make our 2004 summer issues with Partick look like a full body attack by 1,000 midges compared to one midge bite. The BBC this week have really livened things up. Next week could be an absolute watershed for SPL Chairmen. They may hear a FIFA ruling to the SFA about Rangers latest course of action. They will probably have witnessed Duff and Phelps issuing a CVA knowing it would be a further 6 weeks before they might come out of administration. They will know fixtures will be published fairly soon - Rangers/Dunfermline/Dundee versus ICT. The BBC probably have a few more aces up their sleaves on Duff and Phelp's role so it will be fascinating to see their court case with the BBC. Inverness Caledonian Thistle is though in a much healthier state than Glasgow Rangers.
  8. Early days. Based on what is currently in the public domain, the Miller bid was deemed the better bid at the 11th hour. Duff and Duff Again, Multi millionaire Administrators, had to do something quick. Rangers collapse and liquidation remains firmly on the cards, Soon all players will have the right to return to their former wages or be allowed to jump ship. The grass will be a lot greener. If you were a player looking for a career move, would you join a new club that was clearly not Rangers F C hoping one day that the toxic Rangers F C would one day rid itself of problems and rejoin the new Rangers. That might be a year or so. Meantime, new Rangers F C might struggle to attract reasonable players and even if it had money, probably restricted by current bans. It would seem unlikely that the SPL would support clubs reforming to escape disciplinary action or else it could happen more often. Rangers fans should be very worried that this is not the end of their problems. Get down to ICT and buy a Recession Season Ticket. It took Inverness the length of Rangers history to get into Scotland's top flight. Support a decent club and let Rangers find their true level in Scottish society and history. Your club needs you.
  9. Does anyone recall Terry saying we are nearly safe in the year we were relegated? A win for Dunfermline on Wednesday might start our nerves jangling.
  10. One would have thought in the month when there were commemorations surrounding the sinking of the Titanic, that as the band played on, that the passengers would graciously accept that beneath the surface the mighty ship was holed. Why blame the iceberg?
  11. If we beat Celtic and wreck their title ambitions, and if you score a cracker against them, I think you will become a legend in the Highlands. Go on Grant, you can do it for me. I have great plans for you.
  12. In the year we were relegated Terry kept saying we are almost safe but that never came. We have recognised that top 6 is impossible so hopefully we start grafting for points to get away from Dunfermline even if they beat St Mirren. To me talking about top 6 all season has been a monkey on our backs adding too injuries and the need to blend loannees and new players. We will hopefully survive and start next season more realistically and seek to emerge from the shadow of our neighbours.
  13. Fantastic result for Kilmarnock and a great day for Scottish Football. Disgraceful, undignified, greedy, and no place for such bad sportsmanship in Scottish Communities from Lennon. His club should discipline him.
  14. It will be a major motivator for ICT - this season we have lived in the shadow of Ross County. We will be pretty cautious in pre season and seek to make a better start. So it can only be good but to be fair to Smee it is a fair point because the SPL in general needs a lift. What eventually happens at Rangers could help in terms of competition. There again, the County will provide novelty value and boost interest in the SPL because of their location. Scotland's furthest north SPL ground has a railway station just yards from the ground. It should result in extra income for certain agencies dealing with the transfer in Inverness Station.
  15. Yes I saw this. Duff by name and Duff by nature. You pay them a fortune - allegedly £800 odd per hour - and they bodge it up.
  16. Did the Brahan Seer predict the County crash ? - ''Another prediction is that concerning the Canonry of Ross, which is still standing --"The day will come when, full of the Mackenzies, it will fall with a fearful crash"
  17. Should the vote note include the question 'If we survive a late Dunfermline charge and beat Ross County home and away next year?'
  18. After today's result I have to congratulate the Staggies on an amazing undefeated run. They now deserve to be Champions. Hats off to them. They will prove formidable opposition next year in the SPL.
  19. In total denial - 'we have done nothing wrong, it was the responsibility of Harry's dog, the SFA, Bernie the Bolt'............., 'we is victims, we is' http://www.rangersmedia.co.uk/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=642:punishing-the-victim&catid=103:board&Itemid=531 Basically saying the world had a duty to warn David Murray that Craig Whyte had been a disqualified director and was not likely to be judged a fit person when it was discovered.
  20. Fantastic news for Motherwell if they do not bottle it to play Champions League next season.
  21. Hayes it is. He appeared to move as far away from O'Connor in case he fell on top of him and as well as that problem had far more players in front of him than Robben.
  22. Simple - Richard Hastings golden goal in the CONCATENAF Cup Final
  23. No chance of the title - players cannot get to work on time. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-highlands-islands-17189717
  24. It was poor, but we were playing a team belonging to a club with massive liabilities, questions about asset ownership, and which appears clearly insolvent. Where are the administrators going to find funny money to provide the cash to run the club. It is a club subject to a range of high level investigations. This may have been that club's zenith. This may have been their finest result in a 140 year history. Should they collapse on Tuesday or Wednesday, we will see how they have historically beaten teams like ourselves. Escaping the goldfish bowl of Glasgow for the fresh air of the Highlands, they had nothing to lose today. Fast forward three or four days and then we can reflect on the result. Terry though must be realistic and unlike a few years back not assume we are virtually safe from relegation.
  25. My money is that County will blow it. They normally win in Dundee but I expect them to lose this Saturday and topple off the top. Dundee have more drive than any club to win with Ross County a very wealthy club now slipping gently down the greasy pole.
