enjoyed the game, much better than tuesday nite. Wee boy on the right Andrew Gregg had a good game, looks like a good little player, a little of the zander sutherland about him. Keeper did well also. No Foran or Hayes..... I also thought we'd signed Wayne Rooney but it turned out it was David Chambers, he probably played as well as Rooney did during the World Cup!!

I would like to see Mackay-Steven myself. But lets not get carried away like last pre-season. The lad has only played 1 game and it was against Clach. This at the moment seems like the ridiculous desperation to get the likes of Eagle and Stratford signed up. I think he could be a handy player but with our finances maybe not worth taking a risk on. He's been without a club for a long time, never started a 1st team game and very injury prone. Some people are expecting him just to walk straight into the SPL. I can see as good as he could be, why butcher isn't taking a risk on him!

Its great to see that we have a bit of money about is now! You cant tell me that teams like Aberdeen wouldn't have been looking at Tuffey, especially with all they're keeper problems. A couple more signings of this quality and we could be challenging for top 6

I would imagine he'll only be given a trial to start with anyway. As long as our fans don't start clambering for every trialist to be given a deal i.e. eagle and stratford.

I certainly dont think its a lack of respect on Butchers part. Tokely is over 30, losing his pace and is not proved himself at CB at SPL level. Dont get me wrong he is an absolute legend and would love him to stay. But Arsne Wenger only offers players over 30 1 year deals. I think with Tokely it makes sense.....sadly!

Looks like we might have to wait to pre-season to see any new faces according to the P&J today. Says we'll be hoping to get a lot of trialists in again. Which obviously points to free transfers.

This is the second time this has happened to Dundee so I have no sympathy whatsoever. They were spending money SPL teams couldn't afford, hence the reason they had Harkins and Griffiths when there were SPL teams interested. In my eyes its a form of cheating and its not the first time they've done it. Feel a little sorry for the fans if there club goes to the wall. But they weren't complaing when Canniggia and Ravanelli were playing for them, let alone Harkins and Griffiths!

Have heard Butcher was trying to tie up loose ends for Duff on Saturday. Source is pretty reliable so I would this to be confirmed in the next couple of days if he decides to sign

Why does every dundee fan think they're a big club. Nothing to justify it, almost out of business a couple of seasons ago and bottled it to a "tiny club with no good to the game" I dare say we'll try to enjoy parkhead and ibrox when your off to forthbank, us being the smaller team and all!

I dont think we should be getting to upset here. I think that there will be celebrations and pitch invasions by various clubs' fans over the next few weeks. I'm pretty sure they wont all be fined/reprimanded etc. On the fans spilling onto the pitch celebrating a goal. I wouldnt worry too much as it seemed to happen every time in the SPL when somebody scored against us in Inverness.

It will of course be something with a "highland" connection I would imagine. Also a band or person that would perform just about anywhere, with little to no equipment. Yeah exactally, obviously it was all Rooney and Butchers fault and obviously the top scorer in the league is actually the worst striker in the league. Maybe we'd be running away with the league if we had Zadi up front and the Samoan rugby team at the back. Just commenting the way I seen it, its my personal opinion

To be fair to one of the above posts, what they are saying about Rooney is complete garbage. He is the only player that looks like he CAN score a goal. Sanchez is the biggest waste of shirt i've seen in a long time. He gets himself into good positions but 100% of the time chooses the wrong option......5 or 6 times he picked the wrong option today and its no surprise that every week he's the first player substitued. I've also stopped complaining about ref's because every one of them is rubbish. He contributed to the time wasting today, moving free kicks back a yard here and pulling play back when we were in good positions there. The penalty to me was laughable, but fully expected when you see his performance over the 90 mins

Decent player when he could be bothered. Didn't look like he could be bothered in the 1st Division and looked like he thought he was better than it. A total non shock when he played well against Motherwell as he was desperate to impress against SPL opposition. Only surprise is that it wasn't St Mirren he went to as we seen Gus Macpherson and Andy Millen heading out after that game.

When Barry Robson was captain of Utd some people seemed to think he would love a move back here. Also Non-ICT would be when someone said "Ronaldo and Baggio up for the hoops next season, believe it" to me sometime in the 90's. I think they ended up with Harald Brattbakk

feb82000 is 100% right in my opinion. He doesn't tend to post about it anymore either but IHE is 100% right in what he says. The club seems a shambles
