  1. Its now down to you two to sort this club out, I am from Bristol and support my local club Bristol Rovers, I have been a season ticket holder for longer than I can remember, but since visiting the Inverness area with my kids five years ago we have been smitten with ICT, my kids have been mascots for the club and down here in their school everybody who knows them knows ICT, they even have their picture on show at their school from that day. My youngest girl is nine years old, her favorite player is not a BRFC player or a Ronaldo/Gerrard type, but is Ian Black, my son who is eleven thinks the world of the whole team especially Grant Munro Ian Black and Ross Tokely, and if you asked him he would also real off the names of John Rankin & Craig Dargo from the past. Weve had some great times with Inverness and have always been made very welcome, so welcome to you and heres hoping for a bright new future...Good luck from Bristol.
  2. Adam Barrett would have been a great signing from Southend!!! well at least I think hes still there.
  3. Danny Rose from Newport County will fill the role, I have been told that TB knows him.
  4. How about the Saint George Cross.
  5. Not sure for me, but optimistic, its a good chance for the club to turn the corner build bridges and generally bring back the feel good factor. A new start.....use it.
  6. The lads here are right behind me!!
  7. ?60.00
  8. Dont know what my emotions are on this one, I am happy that the club did not go back for a ex employee, it very rarely works in football, could the club of got anyone with a better pedigree than TB who knows, will it work or wont it, only time will tell. What this appointment does do is to start a new chapter for the club and hopefully bring stability and a solid foundation to build on and improve.
  9. Ok then girls....now lets move on, let this bloke get on with his duties, dont really know how I expect him to get on, but I really dont see us getting relegated... Good luck TB & Co.
  10. From all the reports that ive read, sounds like theres plenty to be encouraged about, as was mentioned on this thread now its a case of getting the right man at the helm.
  11. Heard on the local radio station that if you look around you can get 16/1 for Murrey winning Wimbledon 2009, but the suggestion was made that if he wins the Austrailian then these odds will shorten rapidly. 16/1 sounds a good bet to me with the form hes showing of late. good luck to the lad.
  12. Forfar v Elgin = Draw
  13. Mentioned it before abit tongue cheek I have to say, but Ian Holloway is still out there and available would be worth a look before any decisions are made.
  14. On to the next chapter in the life of ICT, lets hope whoever comes in, temporary or not gets quick results and keeps this club in the SPL.
  15. County v QOS = Draw, cheers
  16. Yes good luck to the boys today, we could do with a break and I have a feeling that abit of the old spirit might come through today. Heres to our first 3 points of 2009.
  17. Also, where do you draw the line on offensive? Should ICT Flags and Scarves be banned because they might offend/antagonise the opposition? Sat here reading this thread I was beginning to think down these lines, how long before we can't wear our teams shirt in the ground, its bound to be offending the opposition supporters!!! Are we all jumping on the PC bandwagon here again, I wonder sometimes if we all get a little to offended very easily now adays.
  18. This ***** sums up Britain today. Politically correct, health & Safety mad and generally dumbed down, god help us if we ever had to go to war again, were so wrapped in cotton wool, I dread to think how we would cope.
  19. Get to the bus station buddy your in town, stadium aint to far away........enjoy
  20. Always found Inverness fine both alone or with the wife or kids whatever the time of day, come on down to Bristol City centre on a Friday or Saturday night, at times you can feel the tension in the air, but I guess the same can be said for most big cities in Britain today.
  21. What will be will be, would rather have Blackie at the club but these things happen and as others have said the club have to move on. One thing is for certain when ICT find a good'n then eventually he will move on.
  22. Oh dear, I think the club have gone about this the wrong way, I think Brew & Malky have ran their full coarse at ICT, if funds are available, get the right manager in(I know this is an easy statement to make) The club may have to broaden its horizon, Cloughy has just got a great move from Burton to Derby and in my opinion there are 3 or 4 other good up and coming managers in the English conference, it must be the same for the lower english & Scottish leagues. My thoughs are that the we need to appoint someone with no previous connection to the club, someone with abit of character, man management skills as well as coaching ability with a keen eye for a good quality signing at the right price(again easy statement to make) Someone who can get into the minds of the players we have, motivate them, then add a few key signings to strenghten, I dont think foreign players are the answer at the moment for ICT. Does the club have the time for all this who knows, on the other hand bringing in two players who apparently are not good enough for the club they are with, is that the answer? I hope so!!
  23. came running
  24. Superb for him, what a great start to the year.
  25. Two Questions On topic If you believe you are a loyal supporter of the club, and you can afford the cost, is it not your duty to buy a season ticket regardless of the clubs position? Off topic Realistically how far do you feel the club should take notice of the fans views? Example just because it seems the majority of us want Brew gone and gone now, should they listen, appease us and get rid.
