Battered Fish Cup
I disagree. Support to the hilt but not to the point of being a ridiculously unmitigating happy clapper such as those that refused to acknowledge the difficulties that were becoming increasingly apparent towards the end of last season to which some reacted by camping their hands over their ears and chanting la la la..or disparaging those who were expressing legitimate concerns which proved to be well founded. Cheer, big up the team and it looks like a there is a lot to big up at the moment but fans are also entitled to be realistic and guard against complacency too. The club belongs to us all not just the manager, the team and those who speak on behalf of the club.

Twice in administration and not learned their lesson Dundee may be able to outbid us in such circumstances but I am confident that the coming season will prove that we have the more astute manager.

Club Video : Match Highlights etc...
At less than the price of a Mars Bar per game, the suggested subscription fee for highlights is tremendous value and I would certainly subscribe. There are often incidents at games which you don't see clearly and it's frustrating when our pathetic 200 seconds or so on Sportscene misses them out. 10-12 minutes of highlights would be very welcome indeed.

Think there may be a slight error in the time back at Greig Street.

Battered Fish Cup
No room for complacency but we could not have asked for a kinder draw even if we were seeded. How pleasing would it be to keep this trophy in the Highlands ? We could parade it in Dingwall before the Hogmanay derby.

Whoops, there go my Jaggie credentials in one fell swoop

To be fair, to have had the white seats spell out Inverness Caledonian Football Club the main stand would have had to have been three quarters of a mile long.

New 2016/17 kit
For far too many years when this issue has been raised those who speak on behalf of the club sought to lay the blame at the feet of Errea. Different supplier same issue. Perhaps the problem lies closer to home.

ICT v Arbroath
Good to hear that we are still looking to bring in a couple of players including another forward. Even better to learn that we are taking our time in trying to bring in the right quality of player rather than panicking and bringing in someone just for the sake of making a signing. Pleasing shrewdness and maturity on the part of our inexperienced manager. Richie may have made a mistake in implying earlier in the week that there would be someone in by Thursday and perhaps raising false expectations but he seems to have learned very quickly from that error. Very encouraging indeed,

New 2016/17 kit
Why is it that we seem to be the only club in the Premiership who seem consistently never to get any new replica kit on sale before the start of the season ? We must have lost a fair bit of revenue and frustrated more than a few fans and potential fans over the years.

Is John Hughes still on the payroll
Not convinced about the left wing bit.

Will be a more frequent and very welcome visitor next season when the Pars are in the Premiership.

Is John Hughes still on the payroll
Is that a question or a statement ?

Well, if it was that would certainly fulfil Richie's criterion of a signing that would excite the fans.

Is John Hughes still on the payroll
The terms of the settlement are confidential and, whatever you may think of the former manager, it is only right that it remains that way. Anyway, that is the past and we are now into a new and exciting episode in our history.

What has become of ....Sneckboy?

I don't know how much you know about our resources but 'a couple of strikers' is a pipe dream. We spent all of last season hoping for just the one and that was in vain. However, we now have a much more balanced looking squad and one more striker at least may well be on the shopping list. Welcome on board. Strap on tight and enjoy the ride.

Agreed. That is very much what happened last season and I am sure that Richie will have observed and learned from that fact. We have a decent enough squad to start the season and should only be bringing in players who can improve matters rather than simply swelling the ranks.

NO CASH TURNSTILES THIS SEASON
It is hard work persuading the casual fan in Inverness to venture down the Longman and I do fear that this may deter some but, as OCG says, we will just have to see how it works.

NO CASH TURNSTILES THIS SEASON
It may be a relatively trivial thing but for a club who struggle to attract fans beyond our loyal core I don't think this is a particularly helpful move much as I appreciate the attraction from the club's point of view.
