I'd being banking on St Mirren being a club that we would be likely to finish ahead of in the coming season. With Dargo on board that doesn't seem so certain anymore.

There's no doubt that Rangers will be a tougher proposition than last season but, then again, that wouldn't be difficult.

His goals certainly look classy, however, from his scoring record he's not exactly prolific. Tht said he fits the classic ICT profile of a player who's youthful potential has stalled just waiting for his career to be put back on the rails. The trouble is once we do that for them they tend then to head off to partures new and more lucrative.

With his experience he has the potential to be a good coach.

I agree with that last post. I don't think that there's anything untoward in the act that Charlie Chritie doesn't see signing his nw contract as a priority given that his existing one has a year to run.
