Rooney is the best striker at the club but, like all the others, he lacks experience. What a pity we don't have a seasoned forward to play alongside him and aid his development.

Hmmm.. calling Brew a muppet and a useless fool when he cant defend himself???? That comment, even if you profoundly disagree with it, doesn't breach site rules but abusing fellow posters most certainly does.

Barrowman was poor but the system employed did him no favours.

4-5-1 at home might be jutified if we were grinding out 1-0 wins but we are approaching the half way point in the season and our only home league victory was against a poor killie side who seemed to stop playing after about 20 minutes. The vast majority of fans can see what the position is, it appears that our manager is one of the few who cannot.

It seems that the only SPL game in doubt is the Kilmarnock v Aberdeen match at Rugby Park.

I don't favour extended Brewster's contract at this stage. Might have a different view at the end of the season if results and performances, particularly at home, improve. In my opinion his performance at this stage does not merit a new deal.

If Black and Cowie both go it will be nothing short of a disaster for the club.

It's probably something to do with Highland reserve but we are without doubt the quietest home support in the SPL. It doesn't have anything to do with the layout of the stadium as Celtic and Aberdeen fans manage to make a heck of a racket when the fill the South Stand.

I'm not sure that lack of atmosphere is entirely down to the quality of the football at present. It wasn't always that bouncing when we were playing attacking entertaining football under Pele.

That sounds like a great idea Caley D. It would genuinely entertain the fans and generate goodwill and publicity in the community at no great cost. In fact, such a good idea is it that it's got no chance of being adopted !

Our main shopping centre is Aberdeen which has all the main supermarkets including ASDA and Sainsburys. Mrs Kingsmills flirts with them all from time to time but, for choice, quality price and " shopping experience" opts for Tesco 4 times out of 5. However I suspect that Tesco make more of an effort where there is serious competition rather than a single token Morrisons and a couple of inferior Co-op stores. Even if Tesco are the best of a bad lot it's surely desirable to have a choice and the situation the council have allowed to develop in Inverness is highly anti competitive.

Levein is one thing but would you want Brewster to occupy that duel position ?
