According to commentators Tokely was getting skinned all afternoon at Pittodrie and could only stop his man by fouling. Only watched the first 30 mins on BBC alba last night so can't comment for the entire game but from what I seen he was doing a good job and looked very commanding. Also good to see Duncan getting an spl start as well as a sub appearance this season, looks like he's not as dreadful as people were trying to make out last season.

A bit early to decide if this teams any better, we're missing Hayes, tokely and tade who contributed quite a bit last year. So far we've had two draws, im fairly happy with the outcomes but is it improvement on last seasons results against these teams? Probably not.

Dargoals went to st mirren and stayed in the spl, but we were relegated. Being paid twice the amount plus not facing delegation wasn't a bad move at all. He might not have performed as well at the saints but Im not sure if he'd have done any better for us the following season.

There's always 2 northern teams from the hl in the challenge cup these days, not quite sure how they decide who though.

He then finishes saying they shouldn't be banned from the ramsdens cup. This is an insult to rangers as all rangers fans think they are too big for this cup. To suggest they shouldn't be banned and can play in what is a small meaningless cup to them is funny. The ramsdens cup is the league challenge cup btw. Teams competing from div 3 to div 1.

If we finish 7th next season and have to change the entire team again I wouldn't be happy. That's the problem for me, I don't want to keep seeing massive overhauls on our squad.

I think you'll find most of us have welcomed Gary and look forward to what he can bring to the club. Pre season is always a roller coaster ride. Everyone panicing whether we can keep our current players, and if we can replace them with anyone near as good. This happens EVERY season, it's just us fans venting our frustrations at not knowing who's playing for us next season and if we'll be any good. Out of interest oddquine...how long have you supported ict and what was your influences for following the team.

Not a bad start to the tournament at all. First game i expected Poland to win it, or rather Dortmund to win it as Polands 3 most influencial players play for them. They started very brightly and after 30 mins i thought they were comfortably looking like qualifying. 2nd half and everything changed, Greece down to 10 men after 2 crazy yellow cards but they never gave up and after getting the equaliser actually looked the better side. Unlucky to miss a penalty to win the match. 2nd game i expected Russia to comfortably win it and they did, 4-1! I have high hopes for Russia in this tournament and i can see them doing well. Not 100% sure how the next stage pans out so not sure who they will end up against but i if they continue to do well and win their group they might be a good shout at the bookies for a quarter final upset.
