  1. I work in Aberdeen during the week so I am also planning to be there.
  2. No Donald the bar is at the other end of the concourse ie at the south end of the main stand. I think access was restricted on sat to ease congestion under the concourse due to the large numbers at the game. Okay - pity nobody thought to tell the stewards though - I could see them having to placate a lot of angry supporters who were looking for food and the toilets when half time came.
  3. PS: And the queue at the pie shops on the A9 side of the ground was horrendous as early as 11.30 !!
  4. Was that because of the new Sports Bar facility - if so how are North Stand punters meant to get into it? On another post it said that during the game the main stand coffee area would be open for hot drinks and snacks but that was not the case last weekend and none of the stewards on duty knew why the doors were locked.
  5. First I heard of this, but guess that is why there was no entry to the toilets/pie shop in the main stand from the North Stand last Saturday which seemed to cause a lot of aggro and none of the stewards knew why the doors were locked for the whole duration of the game :-(
  6. Thought he might have mentioned ICT but all they wanted to talk about was Engerlund and the World Cup without too much discussion on how crap their team has been playing. Come on Slovenia
  7. I tried to renew mine online but gave up after a few minutes and went down to the shop last Friday and the very helpful lady there relieved me of several hundred pounds in a couple of minutes and gave me my 4 new season tickets there and then. Definitely the easiest way to do it and apparently it costs ?1.50 per ticket if you do it online, so I saved myself ?6 in the process.
  8. Why the feck can't the away team hospitality guests just sit in the away fans end of the ground with their fellow fans?
  9. Spot on, Johnboy. With Imrie and Jonny on fire causing mayhem on the wings, Rooney in the middle and Foran coming from deeper to latch on to cut backs a la lampard we'd have an attacking force that you strike fear into any of the SPL defences. Without Imrie we're still good but will need a little more cutting edge to challenge for top six. Have to agree that would be some attacking line up
  10. Sound - hope George hasn't forgotten about that statement
  11. Do you think any Dundee fans will even bother to travel for the last game of the season when they know that they will get abuse from us :( I noticed about a dozen policemen going behind the Dunfermline goal last weekend and guessed that they had been told to go there to stop a pitch invasion when Dundee were still getting beat by Morton.
  12. Well done - now bring on the old firm once more :D
  13. i dont think think so if i mind right they are the fm freqencies I disgaree - I think they are the same as the am radio - I had it on in midweek a couple of weeks ago.
  14. Raith win does it for me, then we can start the celebrations :023:
  15. Totally agree and we should get the weels in motion now - before other clubs get their oars in.
  16. So we can watch Bayern Munich v Lyon on the telly with the sound off so we don't have to listen to the usual guff about how Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Man United should have been playing while we listen to Raith beating Dundee to confirm our promotion - sounds good to me.
  17. I am with you here Caley Rule - lets not get too carried away - I would hate to be in the same position as last year where we have to win the last game of the season against our main competitors as it took me days to get over the disappointment of getting beat by Falkirk :P
  18. Me, me, me - they said on Radio Scotland that the ref wasn't confident the game would finish because of the wind - just heard that the Cowdenbeath game has been abandoned due to snow - pray that the weather holds out for another 65 minutes as its as windy as feck here in Aberdeen.

    The Sun today

I certainly hope so as I enjoy reading his reports on the smaller games. (i.e. teams from outside the OF) PS: The Sun is also the only paper that I have seen that gives the TV listings for BBC Alba which puts the supposed voice of the North P&J to shame. I have to buy an extra copy on a Saturday so that my 78 year old mother in law can see what Gaelic programs are on during the week in the Sun TV magazine.
  20. Jesus yes they will be - IF Rangers win the SPL :)
  21. Fantastic result tonight and another two points dropped by Dundee - wonder if they will sack Chisholm and Dodds now?
