  1. Belated happy birthday. But there are apparently 2687 forum members so that means on average, every day there will be 7 or 8 members having their birthday. If there were only 3 yesterday then that would be quite unusual.
  2. It's a sign of how worried Celtic are about yet another cup match against the mighty Caley Thistle that they have to get the Pope to come and give them some motivation in the week before the match. I gather he's also dropping in on Edinburgh to give the Hibees some words of comfort after failing yet again to beat us. :angel05:
  3. Set it up in an old folks home.
  4. I've had a cup of that (somebody else bought it!) I doubt that many people buy a 2nd lot as basically it is just coffee. Fotunately the coffee passes through the civet before being roasted and ground and not before. I think the civet roasted would probably taste better.
  5. Nice picture. Do you know where they got the butter for the shortbread?

Were I to get a tatoo I suspect that it would be rapidly followed by a divorce. Tatoos are not for me but I can't fault the commitment to ICT that your's shows. Have a green dot.
  8. I see France were beaten at home by Belarus who are ranked 78th in the world. And presumably this was with a team who actually wanted to play for their country. :rotflmao:
  9. FFS. If as much hot air was vented on a Saturday as has been on this thread then what an atmosphere we'd have.
  10. Yes, he was unable to get back into position after he had taken the throw.
  11. What I don't understand is why there aren't other players who can throw the ball more than 5 yards. I appreciate that not many can throw as far as Grant used to but even 10 yards short of that would be useful from time to time. It really isn't that difficult and if for some reason nobody knows how to throw a ball maybe they should have some serious training in how to do it. Current standard of throw is probably better in the Inverness ladies team and the number of times we lose possession from a throw when in an attacking position is pathetic.
  12. I think Nick's a good prospect but lacks a bit at this level at the moment. He seems to lack a bit of confidence and ambition. At least 3 times in the 2nd half he had been put in in a good position wide right and won corners by attempting a cross which was clearly going to be blocked. His body language seem to say "job done" but on each occasion taking the defender on could well have led to a clear shooting opportunity or the opportunity to square to someone else and Hamilton will have been happy to concede the corner. And on one occasion where he did have a clear shooting chance he spurned it and squared it to no effect. With a bit more strength and a bit more confidence he could be very effective but boy, do we need Richie back!
  13. And get a suspension for a few games - that would be clever. How Dougie will laugh if he logs on and reads such stupid comments. As if he hasn't got enough to laugh about already.
  14. I think Imrie has a lot of affection for the players and backroom staff at ICT but not for the handful of our so called support who abused him. Personally, I was sad to see him go although some of his behaviour clearly leaves a lot to be desired. But if you don't like a particular player for some reason don't boo him when he's on the ball. By all means jeer and laugh when he makes errors but we all know that booing only serves to motivate players to silence the boo boys. Just because you may think Imrie's a wee nerd doesn't mean you have to behave like a nerd yourself. When Imrie got the ball in midfield in the first minute he was going nowhere. Then a small number of morons boo'd him. Immediatelty you could see the anger and determination in him as if to say "I'll ****ing show you". He did - and how! The goal gave huge encouragement to Hamilton and drained the confidence of our players. Would he have scored had he not been boo'd? Maybe, maybe not - but what I am sure of is that booing him made it more likely he would shoot - and shoot with venom. I hope those who boo'd him are proud of their contribution to our defeat today.
  15. I think that sums it up for me too.
  16. Well, are all those folks who gave Harry a red dot going to make amends?
  17. Whilst the old firm have the money to buy up the best players from the rest of Scotland and attract good players from elsewhere, their problem is that they don't play against quality week in and week out. The failures of other Scottish teams demonstrates what the level of Scottish domestic football is and it is this level that the old firm have to play against. For the rest of the teams in the league the matches against the old firm are like cup finals and the pace of the game is usually fast and furious. That is what they are used to playing against and they simply cannot adapt to playing against sides which have a bit more composure to their game and generally higher skill levels throughout the team. From time to time they will have a decent run in Europe or another team may briefly shine like Aberdeen and Dundee Utd have but that will be the exeption rather than the rule. I do agree that the old firm have the potential to do better but I think they would have to join the English Premier league before they could hope to compete competitively in Europe (if they could qualify) Perhaps next year ICT will show them all how its done.
  18. I am glad Bobby is not playing. He is a legend for ICT and it would have been sad to see him struggling in vain to contain our current forward line. Let our memories of him be of when he was on the winning side.
  19. Rooney, Odhiambo, Duncan and the rest must be gutted to have been dropped after playing so well on Sunday - what do they have to do to get a run in the side?
  20. Disappointed to see McGregor in there after his antics at the weekend. Simulation should not be tolerated in any circumstance and by picking him so soon after, Levein is effectively condoning this type of behaviour. He should have told him he wants him in the squad but will not pick him until he can demonstrate he can behave in a more professional manner.
  21. A merger with County would find a home in Muir of Ord at the Black Isle Showground - amongst all the bullsh*t.
  22. Have all your Aberdeen mates deserted your forum and signed up here for some decent craic? How else could you get so many positive reputation points for this stream of drivel? And where do you get the idea that ICT fans are agressive? We are always extremely courteous to supporters of other teams
  23. Brilliant result which sounds as if it was well deserved. Let's hope that this is more of a reflection of how good we are rather than just one of those strange results that crop up once or twice a season. But given the first half performance against Cetic last week it looks as though there are real reasons to be optimistic. Hamilton seem to have started very poorly this season so a convincing win against them next week might be expected. How we do next week is likely to be a better indicator of how the season will pan out than either of these first 2 games.
  24. Mc definately Cann
  25. Doesn't look like Kevin MacDonald will get the Villa job now. Newcastle 6 - 0 winners today:
