  1. Fantastic day, but Brill's injury put a dampener on things. Don't be surprised if he's out for weeks/months. Looked in a lot of pain and they took ages getting him onto the stretcher. All seemed very innocuous, I think he just fell badly when jumping for a ball at the back post. Let's hope it's not as bad as I fear, and wish him a speedy recovery.
  2. Derek was a guest in the ICT end today. Hope he enjoyed the banter!
  3. I was gonna pay you in today, but after that....
  4. I'm going to use the money saved on admission to buy myself an extra 10 pies.
  5. What was on that site before Howdens moved in?
  6. Time taken for ICT to notch up their last 4 wins: 20 days Time taken for Ross County to notch up their last 4 wins: 260 days
  7. Aye, I think they had just been relegated from the SPL but were still charging SPL prices in Div 1. I handed over a bag full of 2p coins and explained why to the guy behind the turnstile. He just asked for confirmation that it was the right amount, and let me in.
  8. Highest was £30 according to Ian Auld, interviewed on Sky.
  9. The 44 points we have now may well already be enough to secure a top 6 place. Kilmarnock (or Dundee) would have to earn more points per game than they have done so far to exceed that by game 33. Our 44 points is also 4 times what County have got.
  10. Aye, I was thinking the same, we'd have struggled to break 2,000 for this particular fixture at normal prices.
  11. It would be nice to think that Saints might just give up now and start thinking about their game on Friday. Has to be said that we have a bit of an advantage being fresher after the postponement, while Saints have have to play Sat-Tue-Fri, 3 games in 6 days.
  12. Sounds too good to be true, is there a catch? 10p to get in, £50 to get out?
  13. Aforementioned Association also appoints awful arbiters (and assisitants)!
  14. Alas, administrators always avoid acceptable alternatives.
  15. Another bright side is that the postponement increases our chances of going through January with a 100% record.
  16. Arctic arena!
  17. What's the issue, waterlogged or frozen?
  18. St Johnstone never got their man BUT that bit of paper ended up being worth £40,000 to them, at County's expense.

On the subject of refs, I see Scotlands top refs are having a get together this week to "prepare for the 2nd half of the season" and to learn how to use vanishing spray. I kid ye not, they have had tuition, familiarisation time and practical sessions with it. Aerosols! And where is this training being held? Hampden? A hotel in the central belt? No. La Manga. That's where our poor refs are this week.

    3G at TCS?

Nor should football be played on mud or sand! There's nothing better than a good grass pitch. But how often do you get a good grass pitch in Scotland, half the time?
  21. It would start to look achievable if we hadn't lost both games v the Dons. See how the league table would look if we hadn't been edged out both times. And then imagine if we knew how to play against Partick!
  22. It's not often that a goal results in a chorus of boos!
  23. Billy has scored our last 4 goals, securing 3 wins. A few weeks ago during his drought it was noted that we were doing well and weren't dependent on Billy for goals, which was a good thing. Now we are doing well thanks largely to his goals, which is also good thing. Heads we win, tails they lose.

    Alan Gow

I'm sure he could have filled a roll for us.
