If it's good enough for Yogi!... Don't joke about it, he's got one of those personal injury lawyers pursuing ICT, and Jagster can probably put a claim in too!

You might be best driving to the stadium, Rod!

Just make sure you're not planning on getting a train that started in Aberdeen!

Agdestein
As far as I can see via Google, Toby hasn't found a club yet. Anyone know anything? I wonder if he's waiting for the Norwegian season to start in a few weeks time.

Joe Gorman
It's more than 2 weeks since the Orangemen tweet. Is Gorman still suspended, or has this been dealt with quietly and internally?

Financial Report
We also have the £100k-ish windfall from selling the management team to Hibs, so in financial terms all our Christmases have come at once. Going against that slightly, home attendances have been poor this season and I'm pretty sure the player wage bill is a fair bit higher than last season. Interesting that Motherwell made a loss last season despite finishing 2nd in the league. And I still fail to understand how Rangers started afresh with £22m raised, lost £14m last year and now seem to need an emergency loan to pay the wage bill. They could and should have romped the lower leagues with an annual wage bill of just a few hundred grand, and made a huge profit from their gate receipts and merchandising etc.

Inverness CT -V- Stranraer
BBC Scottish Cup updates page: GOAL - Inverness 1-0 Stranraer (Ross) Oh dear; not a great start for Stranraer... Full-back Scott Robertson gets in a fankle trying to hack the ball away under little pressure and his clearance rattles off the shins of Nick Ross and dribbles over the line. BBC Text commentary: Goal! Inverness CT 1, Stranraer 0. Nick Ross (Inverness CT) right footed shot from more than 35 yards to the top right corner.

Inverness CT -V- Hearts
Come on, 20 minutes to get a goal or two, otherwise that's just 1 win in 10 matches.

Strengthen during transfer window?
The lack of any real back-up striker is getting increasingly concerning. Hughes is still no doubt scouring the free agent market, and let's hope there's a decent striker there amongst all the mid-season cast offs, but as time goes by those candidates must be drifting further and further away from match fitness. To an extent we can just reshuffle the pack if need be, and we know that Foran can still do a job there, but it's far from ideal, especially when we have an intense make or break phase of 2 games a week coming up for the next 2 months.

Age fraud
There have been suggestions that Lazio's Cameroonian player Joseph Minala is older than the 17 years that his birth certificate suggests. I think the sceptics might have a point! This article confirms that age fraud has always been rife in Africa, where official documents can be faked or obtained for a bribe. http://www.theguardian.com/football/2010/feb/21/nigerian-football-age-old-problem Many of us will remember Scotland narrowly losing in the final of the U16 World Cup (1988-ish?) to a Saudi team who looked an awful lot older.

ICTFC U20s
The U20s are away to Hamilton this afternoon at 3pm. They are also due to host Dunfermline next Tuesday, but would that be rescheduled as we have the Stranraer game the same day?

Sky Sports showing a replay?
Oops! Just as well I don't have a job that involves working with numbers and money all day.

Sky Sports showing a replay?
Wholeheartedly agree with all that. Hard to see how it could be worthwhile for Sky though, paying out £186,000 to the clubs plus all the costs of putting on a live outside broadcast, for a game that is only really of interest to a few thousand non-attending fans of the sides involced. Still, Sky have a Monday night slot to fill and let's hope they don't have any better options.

Stranraer Roll Call
But we're not playing in the Inverness Cup! Interesting and scary stats quoted there : Stranraer have won 8 of their last 10 home games, ICT have only won 1 of our last 8 games. On the face of it this tie seems ripe for an upset, but I'm fairly confident that Sunday has given our whole team a lift, and the desire for more cup success.

You should make yourself known to the club and the media, it's a great story that will interest and impress the wider public.

Josh's Red card
Hearts were officially the home side, which game them first choice on dressing room etc. At TCS, ICT could choose to use the away dressing room but we'd still be the home side! Anyway, the fact that it was played in Edinburgh is good enough for me, and "what a sh1tey home support!" was a great wind-up.
