  1. The team should go on a 3 hour coach journey before each home game.

    Juanjo

On that Asil site there is a YouTube clip of Juanjo's career. The last 2 mins are from his ICT days, including some goals I'd forgotten about.
  3. Great result. Can we play all our games away from home please?
  4. History shows us that EVERY time we win the Challenge Cup we go on to win the league and get promoted to the SPL. So all we have to do is win 2 more Challenge Cup matches and the rest will follow automatically. Simples!
  5. I don't think he said that at all. He was pointing out the fine line between qualifying and not qualifying and used a missed chance as an example. The Daily Record then applied their spin and made it into a back page story.
  6. Didn't we beat Airdrie in 2003's final? Airdrie United are not Aidrionians. Airdrie United are Clydebank as far as records go. You are right, it was defunct Airdrie than won it 3 times, and new Airdrie Utd/Clydebank that we beat in the final, although they have won the trophy in their own right since then. But they are still Airdrie, same town, same ground, same songs, same strips, same unpleasant fans....
  7. For years, England have had great players, but now that they have got a great manager they do look the business. Going by form since Capello took over, they have perhaps become the best in Europe if not the world. Or am I believing the media hype? But Steve McLaren remains a legend!
  8. Didn't we beat Airdrie in 2003's final?
  9. Perth would make more sense It would, but the SFL only use SFL grounds. That's why we had to go to Airdrie for the Alloa v ICT final, when Perth would have made more sense. Next time we got to the final it was held in Perth, because St J were in Division 1 at that point.
  10. Who would you play instead?
  11. Looks like the final should be held in Dunfermline then.
  12. Decent draw, bring it on. Just relieved we avoided Dundee.
  13. In our 6 games against the "good" teams in the group, we failed to score in 5 of them.
  14. Tense stuff, even when you know the outcome. Barrowman hit the best penalty, followed by Rossco. Esson's 3rd save was rather good!
  15. I recall when much of Hawick town centre got washed away by floods, causing ?15m of improvements.
  16. Can't really fault the performances, the tactics or the effort tonight. The damage was done in earlier games.
  17. Our best player, Craig Gordon, is out. David Marshall steps in, but he just isn't international calibre. In fact doesn't he concede 4 goals every time he plays for Scotland?
  18. Met a female Scottish one about 10 years ago, can't remember what she called herself.
  19. I think we'll restrict it to 0-2.
  20. That's pretty darn good! Roughly what year?
  21. Many years ago some bird off Big Brother wanted to know what was under my kilt. Think she was called Narinder or something similar. (Apologies for going off topic, she isn't actually famous at all.)
  22. Found something on a Gaelic site. I then used an online translator to confirm who else is in the draw with us and it said: Village of the Cabbages Slayers of Elgin, ha ha! City of Drugs, Whores and Teenage Mums
  23. Nicest, friendliest celeb I've ever met was Lorraine Kelly. Totally genuine, warm person. I was p1shed at the time, and she said something about having mislaid her "Fascinator", so I blurted out "Your what? Is that a sex toy?". She politely laughed and explained. All credit to her for keeping chatting to this crude drunk after a dodgy start to the conversation. [it turns out that a fascinator is a sort of feathery alternative to a hat. She showed it to me later, and even let me stroke her feathers]
  24. Kenny Dalglish, about 6 years ago. He didn't say much. But maybe that's because I mentioned who I supported :021:
  25. Now you're reminding me of my days hanging around backstage doors and sneaking into dressing rooms! The only time I got a friendly reception was from Fish about 20 years ago, who sat me down and gave me loads of beer. Great bloke. Met him again at an airport luggage carousel recently! Arguably the most famous rocker I met this way was Tommy Lee, Pamela Anderson's ex. This was for Motley Crue around 1988, and this was when Terry Butcher was stood right behind me at the gig. I chased after loads of complete nobodies too, but they meant a lot to me at the time. Including Yngwie Malmsteen!
