  1. And don't give your business to companies that use overseas call centres!
  2. The only positive I can come up with is that the Ballinluig roadworks are finished. And if that ain't enough to reinvigorate your enthusiasm, Big Dougie can always provide a pole for Mantis to dance around. See, you'd miss the banter!
  3. I find it very entertaining and interesting, mainly for non-musical reasons. It's a fascinating insight into the culture of the countires who ultimately control Europe and the UK. On the one hand you've got Eastern European nations craving acceptance by the west and seeing Eurovision as a way to achieve this, entering their top stars and spending millions on production, meanwhile established western nations take the p1ss out of the whole thing (apart from the UK, who don't really know how to approach it any more). Musically, amongst the dross there are always a couple of pleasant surprises and credible songs that would stand up well in whatever their genre is. However I haven't been sreiously into any Eurovision acts since Bucks Fizz in 1981.
  4. I suspect it will be Graham Norton, because he seems to host everything, and I suppose its a show where being over the top, camp and rather annoying are useful attributes. By the way, anyone who thinks Eurovision is crap clearly doesn't understand it!
  5. He wants a pay rise.
  6. 23rd equal, could have been worse :015:
  7. Forget Rockness and T in the Park, this is the musical highlight of the year. Where do you reckon the UK will finish this year? I'd guess around 21st out of 25. An instantly forgettable song, nobody likes us, and the singer is the wrong colour to get any votes from the Eastern Europe nations that dominate the voting.
  8. And with the Celtic fans staying behind at Tannadice to celebrate, both sets of fans will be travelling along the A90 and A9 at the same time!
  9. I saw the other day that Paul Sheerin has set some sort of record with St Johnstone for making 132 consecutive appearances. I seem to remember that Mark Brown holds the record with ICT. Anyone know our record for an outfield player?
  10. Companies have to send their annual accounts to shareholders, and also file them with Companies House. Anyone can get them from the Companies House website for a couple of quid.
  11. Brewster's winner v Hearts to get us our first points of the season.
  12. An absolute gentleman, a very sad loss.

    SPL 07/08 XI

I would agree with TCF on Hutton. De Vries on the other hand......
  14. It's often been said that Gretna are an embarrasment, shouldn't be in the SPL etc, but despite their problems and playing all their games away from home, they have actually competed far, far better than Derby have in the Premiership : 23 pts v 11.
  15. Very poor, but we are the only team to beat Gretna in their last 7 games!
  16. Agreed, but plenty of clubs are interested and I think he'll end up at Tannadice.
  17. Incredible! In comparison, our players have no reason to complain about the pay disparity with Niculae.
  18. The U19 keeper McNulty has also been given a 1 year contract and will be in the first team squad next season. I doubt he will be the second choice keeper though, as Brewster says we will be going with 3 keepers in the first team squad next season. That's a first as far as I can recall.
  19. I'm very disappointed with Mike Smith on this. He should have given TCJ a good clip round the ear and then dragged him out of the stadium by the scruff of the neck.
  20. He just went there on loan for 1 month after his trial with us. I think he is back at ManU now but will be a free agent when the season ends. If no offer has been made, he probably didn't impress.
  21. Another one to add to this : Gretna had to eat cold lasagne on the journey up yesterday, because the microwave on their bus wasn't working. They were presumably too poor to stop at the Ballinluig Motorgrill.
  22. Keep up Tom, the club set the record straight weeks ago.
  23. Admin, somebody sensible appears to have obtained IHE's login and password!
