  1. The most entertaining manager around.
  2. Now that you mention it....! The policeman directing traffic made the difference.
  3. From BBC : "The club said on Friday: "A fan site has consistently been used as a forum for the posting of untrue and damaging statements about the club."" On that basis most clubs could take action if they felt inclined to do so. I suspect that Sheff Wed are just firing a few warning shots, but it's a helluva wake up call for that website and the posters in question.
  4. While we're being positive, can I add that my most recent experience of the car park at TCS was actually very good, don't think I have ever seen it empty so smoothly.
  5. As was always the case. The only suggestion to the contrary came from yourself! Still no sign of Shearer?
  6. Stop exaggerating, it was only 25 yards.....and nowhere near as good as McFadden's 40 yarder.
  7. The key phrase is "This follows issues that arose at the game v Arbroath"
  8. Aye, hoping she looks like Nora Batty. We used to have one of the best keepers in ther SPL, now have 2 keepers who are bottom 6 standard, at best. That's just something we have to live with this season. Calls for Fraser to be dropped are unjustified, but I think Zibby is a better keeper than most people appear to believe and I won't be surprised if he stakes his claim to the jersey and earns it on merit.
  9. I was at midweek games againtst Dundee and Utd at Pittodrie, and I would be amazed if the actual attendance was much more than 500 for either.
  10. I'm not sure if anyone is.
  11. We are not worse than Elgin!
  12. Looking for plus points, it sounds like we've created a very healthy number of good chances - probably more than we ever have away to one of the OF.
  13. Our heaviest ever SPL defeat?
  14. Altogether now : "You.....fat....bastion! You.....fat....bastion!" Happy 60th.

Nae luck, but at least he now has something in common with some top class players.
  16. 2-0, same as the other away games against proper teams.

It's not too late to get your name on this shirt, in the position of your choice. Deed poll!

Someone's screwed up, but to be fair, it looks to me like the club are being extremely reasonable in trying to make it up to you.
  19. I recall one of Lineker's post match monologues where he just ended the show saying "At the end of the day........it gets dark" I can't remember which game it was, but Engerlund had just been knocked out of a tournament where they had underperformed. Which hardly narrows it down.

We could do "Singing aye-aye-yippee Niculae" On second thoughts, I can see how it might end :017:

As mentioned already, this website is a great place to start. It's the only ICT fans website of any significance, and a significant proportion of our fanbase are registered. After spending some time here you'll feel as if you know the club's players, directors, support staff, fans, tactics, history, legends, highs and lows. Hopefully it won't put you off!
  22. The Niculae/E-coli chant is one of the wittiest to be heard in recent years :clapping03:
  23. Just home. I can confirm that we played very well today, and derved a point if not 3. Even the defence did well! Great effort all round, and Brewster looked a class above Marius (who faded out of the game in the 2nd half). Wilson was the playmaker on the left wing and had a good game, just lacking a decent cross or shot. Our shooting was atrocious though. For many years I have had a theory that that the standard of shooting in the warm-up indicates how the game is going to go. Today they fired in dozens of shots from 18 yards and none of them went in. When that happens, you know the team aren't gonna score. (It was pretty much the same last week as well!) But overall if we play like that every week, we'll do fine this season.
  24. I'm very disappointed that we have ended up with Brewster, simply because he failed so miserably at Tannadice and proved that his real impact on ICT was as a Player not a manger. I'm not a member of the Board, yet, but I would guess they chose him because : 1) Immediately available (important with transfer window shutting) 2) Extremely keen on the job 3) No qualms about moving to Inverness 4) No transfer fee 5) Affordable salary (meaning more funds available to get players in transfer window) 6) Still a great player into the bargain 7) Knows most of the squad (and staff behind the scenes) so can hit the ground running 8) We DID do very well under his last reign, (despite some very vocal revisionists on this site) 9) Last time around his sides were ALWAYS organised, fit and very hard to beat. That's what we need right now. 10) No other credible candidates with sufficient track record seem to be available at the moment, or affordable, or interested in the job. At the end of the day our previous 3 managers may have been the best candidates. They all failed when they moved on, so take your pick!
