Let's face it, men only watch womens tennis to ogle*, so that final was not the most appealing. It was also quite unusual in that it was the final of a major sporting event and yet nobody really cared who won. Perhaps not even the players. * Hence the reason I listened to the Girls' Final on the radio instead!

Was it Annan that we beat 8-1 in the cup years ago? Surely not many SPL clubs can claim to have beaten them.

A few years ago I played tennis with some mates in a public park one afternoon. As a result of that, I believe I am still officially ranked Britain's number 8.

I don't think he ever actually appeared for Paderborn. But I was actually referring to the two clubs he's played for since then. Looks like a career in free fall, but hopefully we can turn that around.

He looks the part and did OK at County, but in Germany seems to have been playing for amateur clubs in front of a few hundred fans, which maybe tells us something. But perhaps a physical presence is more important in the SPL than over there.

Good luck macbeth, and keep us posted with your progress. There are many fans on this site who are shareholders and get the accounts, and some have a very good understanding of the contents, far beyond what the disclosures tell you.
