Is Mark Brown set to leave?
The way Eddie Thompson has conducted himself on transfer bids involving ICT has been extremely underhand, every Arab I know cringes with embarrassment and apologises for it. In Div 1 it maybe started with his moves to lure Steve Paterson, who was offered the manager's job but eventually declined. ET then tried to deny that he wanted Paterson, and effectively announced on TV that our club's directors were liars.

Is Mark Brown set to leave?
Considering the league table over recent seasons, RiG describing Utd as a "middle of the league team" must be the biggest compliment they've had for years.

Le Guen Leaves Rangers.
They don't need a manager - the fans seem to be in charge of team selection.

Stirling Albion Tickets info
I certainly don't recall paying - I was pretty skint back then (not to mention tight) so I can't imagine that I would have paid to park. But it was a long time ago and maybe I'm getting confused. Do you still try your "I'm one the club's directors" routine?

Does anyone know if the car park at the ground still free?

Half Time Entertainment
In Scottish Cup games last year or the year before, Tennents were sponsoring a competition where a fan took 3 penalties and had to hit the left post, right post and the bar. Not easy to achieve, but simple to run.

The Stirling Albion Pre Match Thread
I was last at Forthbank for that game we won 5-1 in Div 2, but I'm fairly sure it was just a few days after Stirling had beaten Hibs in one of the cups.

Black a liability
After a poor start to the season, he's actually been playing very well in the last few games and was probably our best player for 45 minutes today.

Falkirk match thread
Incredibly, some people just don't seem to realise that at 3-0 and 10 men the game was over. It was a case of damage limitation and resting players for Monday.

Black a liability
Black has to be severely punished for this one. I don't mind if he gets a yellow for a robust challenge here and there, but when its for picking the ball up and booting it away right in front of the ref, as if to say "Go on then, send me off", then there is no place for him in our team. Edit : just seen the footage. Just after the half-time whistle went, he drop-kicked the ball from the centre circle to one of the goals. The ref gives him a yellow. As Blackie gets to the touchline, he picks up another ball and does exactly the same thing. He tried to argue that the 2nd one was not the match ball, it was actually for the half-time youngsters game, and he just getting it on to the pitch for them. Perhaps it could be seen as harsh, but what stupid thing to do, it gave the ref an easy opportunity to book him again.

An interesting dilemna ??
Morgan did pretty well when he came on. It was actually his break from defence and pass to Rankin that led to the winning goal. There must be a case for bringing Morgan in for McBain, who seems increasingly ineffective these days.

GOAL OF THE SEASON
I have to admit, when Dods swung his left hoof I was undecided whether he would send it over the stand, or miss the ball altogether.
-
Who picks MOTM?
Setanta gave it to Rankin, but said it was going to be MacGregor until that strike.

Happy Xmas Cally
Good call prendergast, you were braver than I was!

Hmm
Rankin wasn't dire, he was just really, really poor. As was Roy. It was Rory that was dire. I have seen enough to conclude that he is not going to make it as a footballer.

Dunfermline V ICT - matchday thread
Having just seen the highlights (it didn't take long!) Crawford was actually unlucky with his 2nd yellow. From where we were it looked a bad, late lunge on Hastings, but Crawford had actually slipped and took him down accidentally. The Pars fans enjoyed that bit though, it's always more satisfying to blame the ref rather than accept that your team is p1sh.

Hmm
Tokely and Wilson were the only players who were tryihg to keep it on the deck. Positives? Very good defending, and as a result Broonie never had a save to make. We did have a couple of good chances, in particular when Wilson was through but fired straight at the keeper. And we went for it a bit more in the last 10 minutes. Negatives In short we played very bad football, too much aimless hoofing straight to the opposition. And Rory - oh dear oh dear oh dear. In my mind he has always been a poor player, but now he's getting worse.

Chants Of The Year
There's some good ones there, especially the Chopra one. The Boro one is a poor imitation of the Celtic's "While we're in Seville, they'll be watching The Bill" - which is one of the best football lines I can recall.

The Neeps Gazette
Left midfield is one of our weakest links this season, so I'm fairly sure that if Morgan looked the part in training then Charlie would have given him more of a chance.

Sounds like the entertainment level increased dramatically, at least.
