  1. If the majority want to count this week then I'll accept a 10 point deduction with nae moaning!
  2. Cup weekends and call offs are totally different in my eyes and it would seem the majority of the comps players agree given the response this thread has seen. Joe its got nothing to do with protecting a lead! The odds were posted late, hardly anybody showed up, its a cup weekend so its to be expected.
  3. Annan would be my play if there was a comp I think, though cant see every game going ahead with theirs being at as much risk as any.
  4. Cup weekend, not enough games is my opinion and probably too late now to get enough bodies in to make it a worthwhile week.
  5. Hastings?
  6. Well somebody has to emerge from the pack, hence why I said I'd settle for second right now!
  7. "and everybody is desperate to be in that first starting eleven" That was the line that caught my attention. Great stuff Boss.
  8. As much as I agree with IHE here, I'm also of the mind that one game of battering one half of the Old Firm all over park may well lift the spirits further, even if we take nothing from the game. It will take the week leading upt our next match for us to calm down and get on with the task of staying up.
  9. The current gap between ourselves and Falkirk isnt that big, we all have tough games left to play this years including 2 against Falkirk themselves. I honestly think its possible for both ICT and Falkirk to overhaul the teams above us. Nevermind what they are doing, lets get down to the business of winning every single game for ourselves.
  10. Oh well, you had a nice wee run of it at the top to look back on come May. Thats us about two thirds of the way through, looks like the race is on for the minors, tbh I'd settle for second right now (!) Hope at least you backed Stirling in the offices, was a great price that 2/1 from Hills, I took Ladbrokes 7/4 but it pays out nonetheless.
  11. No chance either team will score twice. ICT to win HT/FT at 20/1 is ridiculous. If Rangers drop points today then Celtic wont be quite as aggressive as normal I'd suspect. If theyre goign to write any game off in the next period for them I think itll be this one.
  12. That was going to be my choice, but going the same as you would be boring. I'll stick with the game but go for Brechin v Stirling draw @ 3.40 Oh dear oh dear.. Could go anywhere this one.
  13. I'm sure this current wages saga started when they beat Ross County 4-1 in Dingwall, they have only lost once since November and its been rumbling on in the background the whole time. They were behind in their last 3 games but pulled something out of it in each with goals in the last few minutes, they came from 2-0 down away to in-form Morton last week to draw 2-2 with 10 minutes left! I'm not sure I could back against them, I will admit the wages issue does seem to be dragging a bit now but still, theres other 2/1 shots on the card that look a hell of alot more interesting (Stirling Albion for one!) I'll text you today any PTLs
  14. Stirling Albion @ 3.00
  15. I'm not touching it, Livi are by far the better team and as mentioned the players are Pro's, if County were a better team and could put them under pressure then they may just crack but I dont think they are upto the task.
  16. It's decent, a mate of mine works there, pretty much all the bars will have Setanta. Theres a few Celtic bars around the place if you're keen to go behind enemy lines !
  17. Just ask us your questions Bellender
  18. Malpas isnt the manager, Terry Butcher is.
  19. I have ALWAYS been been impressed with Terry Butchers handling of the media and very rarely disagree with anything he has to say. I have to admit that I am over the moon he is in charge of our team, I honestly believe we now have the best manager in the league now, in terms of how he conducts himself and indeed his profile within the game. Very happy with the appointment, the man is a class act, I just hope he resists falling into the boring as hell Inverness footballing comunity, where your reputation in a couple of bars is more important than your reputation within the game nationally. Onwards and upwards. Make your mark Butcher- if you see something that needs changed then change it, if you hear a player being cheeky then deal with it, dont listen to those around you.. you have vastly more experience than anybody within the club. If you feel youre getting pressure from those above you then expose it.
  20. Cant we apply for a goverment bailout?
  21. And personally if I could get out, I would, but theres no way possible for me to do so. Bob, let me knwo when your laying on your escape sub for the forum and I'll put my name down for a ticket :lol I dont fancy hanging around when the race riots and violent crime start spreading with the summer heat waves..
  22. Buy Swiss Francs, Buy Norweigan Oil, Buy Russian Gold... Historically 3 markets that react independantly of each other. Sell FTSE 6 month futures, go on holdiay to the Caribbean till August and come back the richest man in the UK. Bob, I think things will get to a new all time low, the Bank of England has already started printing money in sums never before imagined, every move twist they take makes the ?10 I've got in my pocket just now worth LESS (and I'll not see a share of the 50billion loan fund). We're at the tip of the iceberg, I think the scale of what I've been warning about for a while is just coming into the mainstream psyche with the news that the Goverment will take upto the early 2030's to repay its debt and thats if theres enough of us around to pay it off. I won ?100 on betfair today, a friend of mine who gambles in Euros placed the same bets as me, his moneys worth about 12% more than mine, 6 months ago we wouldve been winning and losing the same. Some say things cant be that bad while supermarkets are still full (of food, not people) and people still have houses, well I can assure them that big lifestyle changes will have to come into play very soon. How many giant 4x4's and 42 inch tvs do we see on these reposession programs on TV? Maybe if they paid their bills and didnt chase the lifestyle ideals shows like 'a place in the sun' or the various home improvement efforts have been firing at them for 10 years they wouldnt be losing their houses, its almost pornographic watching the sums of money average folks were spending on second homes and cars this past decade. Everything from the homes we live in, the wages our companies pay us and the products shops are selling, is all paid for with borrowed money. The amount of money Tescos borrows every year insuring its distribution fleet is mindblowing, its all borrowed money, big stores like Debenhams or Marks and Spencer are exactly the same, they dont pay anything to move their products around the country up front. Big changes are to come and they wont be pretty.
  23. Cant believe Stirling conceded 2 to this mob
  24. Stirling @ 2.00
