I dont know what to say, Im lost for words, if we got points for corners and wasted chances we would be top of the league.
-
I wondered why a few expensive looking cars left the stadium in a hurry this morning when I drove by. You should have seen the dust cloud they left.
-
If you had suggested that 5 years ago we could have bought the stadium with the profit.

According to the courier its for a 10% stake and are now trustees of the Inverness Caledonian Trusts 20% share of the club, which shows a greater degree of honesty in publishing this and its great news to read of people investing their time, experience and money for the right reasons. Whats next? perhaps there are more individuals out there who are doing OK financially and would like to invest in the local team of their place of birth or perhaps they have moved here and fallen in love with the area. I'm assuming its still £1 a share.

He cant be that young Charles surely, as I spotted him on tv recently with a full grown beard.

Are their any guidelines which the club may wish to post, just to simplify things as teachers may enjoy taking their well behaved pupils to the football as an end of term treat.
-
Common sense has prevailed, its also good to hear that complaining about bullying in the correct way does get things resolved.
-
Isnt this a bit premature. County and Celtic haven't won their league cups yet, its almost a dead cert but not guaranteed. Its highly unlikely that we go down now but we are still a couple of games away from saying that we are not going down.

I see that fast food now has to pay/charge vat, it should earn the government a fortune from the saturated fat fans but probalbly makes the footy pie too expensive, yet another stealth tax for ther public. There is one positive note though, no vat on a cold pie so it looks like we can get round the increase as mine are usually luke warm. Guidance notes issued by Whitehall to cover the proposals introduce a series of anomalies that will trigger a fierce row between retailers and the Government. The new regime means that, in theory, every food item that is hotter than the surrounding ambient air temperature will be liable for 20 per cent VAT. In the high street, this means a hot sausage roll or Cornish pasty carries VAT but a cold one does not.

Has all of this been drawn out for months over £250,000.

You remind the ones that do the pr for ICT, that they are the nuts and bolts of the club and thank them for being such good ambassadors, being visited by a professional SPL footballer really is a memorable occasion and something to take pride in, if your lucky enough to be chosen. They are a far better person than someone who stipulates that they wont do it, If family ties prevent pr work then perhaps the shoe will be on the other foot when our younger players reach their peak and travel back to Inverness for family reasons whilst playing in the EPL. It would also do no harm for these players to make a token gesture appearance even though their contract says otherwise, to help the togetherness of the club and to give a little back to the community. You cant make them turn up but morally its the right thing to do and will be a far better person for doing it.

JJ and Burley did great things at Hearts before leaving but thats Hearts, even with a few years to build he is still going to have problems luring decent players to Dunfermline.

Your fear of Jim Jefferies is greater than the ability of J.J.

I was routing for Killy from the off, they played some pretty good football and controlled the game well, one nil up and their still up the park with the ball instead of giving it away. As for a penalty, the ref got it spot on 'from his viewpoint' Stokes gets tackled there is contact on his right leg but blind to the ref, he then forgets to stand on his left leg and goes down, the ref can see this and he gets a card, brilliant. Well done to Killy, the win was deserved, the old firm think they own the SPL, talks of a treble? get it right up ya you arrogant gits. Just read that his dad passed away, thats a terrible shame but he died an extremely proud man.

Regarding ICT being worse off with County in the SPL? Not a single home game will clash, they currently manage to keep it home and away for the majority of games, they currently manage to get it right so I cant see any difference there. Loss in sponsorship? Clubs have their sponsors be it SPL or SFL,if you want to tout for business in Rossshire you could advertise at VP,the same goes for advertising at TCS for Invernessshire, you advertise at the local ground for local business.so no change there then. We will have an extra 2 premium hospitality packages and its being swapped with 2 low value deserted ones. We have an extra 2 matches with around 6,000+ at the game and lose 2 games with around 3,000 fans Local football is promoted. The only downside that I can see is for example a Hibs fan wanting to come up to Inverness, watching the game and making a weekend of it and they may come up twice a year, now if they still come up twice a year they will probably visit us once then County, the Inverness pubs still get the money but the club loses out, our away day supporters who stay overnight would probably have some pretty valuable advice on this though regarding staying away and are we only talking small numbers. As for floating fans deciding to leave us to go to VP to watch SPL football, why? I dont know of a single ICT fan who decided to go and watch County play against a SPL club for one of their cup games, what is being suggested is the same as, for example, Falkirk being in the SPL the Pars get promoted and the Bairns fans come across the bridge and decide to support the Pars. It sounds silly doesnt it. I would say all the good things out weighs a minor negative thing.

1, Im slightly too old to apply, though I may sneak in if mental age is covered. B. If I were to contact the club directly then only I would know the answer. iii, Would it not be better to discuss on here and raise the awareness of the offer to those applicable before the season ends. d. Thanks for your suggestion.

I thought the title would lure you in. Seeing as local schools and clubs can get in free to watch ICT, how easy is it to make this happen? Is there any criteria that has to be met? age limits, minimum numbers etc. For examplef if its for primary schools only, as there arent many matches left available for the primary 7s If a few pupils or a class want to represent their school at TCS, whats the next step?

I hope this poem brings some comfort. I give you this one thought to keep, I am with you still - I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow, I am the diamond glints on snow, I am the sunlight on ripened grain, I am the gentle autumn rain. When you awaken in the morning's hush, I am the swift, uplifting rush of quiet birds in circled flight. I am the soft stars that shine at night. Do not think of me as gone, I am with you still - in each new dawn

I can see the headlines Ross County duped by travelling folk. I cant understand it they seemed so nice, They turned up and asked if we needed any work doing and we mentioned that we needed a new stadium, they walked around and gave us a price, it was very reasonable only £748,000, they turned up tidied the place up a bit and we havent seen them since. We have informed the SPL that we also have a plan B to fall back on, as we have applied to 60 minute makover.
-
Have us as the plan A till the Autumn and get VP sorted properly including USH and drainage, sell the turf to the Dingwall dafties and relay some new turf. We get some cash, they get a better home, theyll save money in the long run regarding drainage and the central belters still have to suffer the A9.

Point total compared with previous seasons
12th Man replied to hislopsoffsideagain's topic in Caley Thistle
Our relegation year was a tough year and a team has to go down no matter how good they are, that year bottom clubs were taking points off of big clubs pushing the bar up higher, I think Barrowmun scored only 4 goals during the whole season and we go down on goal difference, ouch. We'll be ok this season though. -
These untrustworthy gate paying, ict chanting, pie eating, coffee drinking,50/50 gambling, club shop spending, so called fans can go take a hike.

It was an entertaining game to watch yet frustrating at the same time. The frustrating thing is down to how the mind works in front of goal, time for a bit more self belief and some confidence boosting things to do before the next game. Think grande cojones in front of goal.
