  1. As the players have excelled themselves time and time again, its only fair that some more names are added to my initial Hays, Esson and Rooney selection. all of the back 4- Golabeck,Munro,Tokely and Proctor. midfield- Duncan and Cox and up front- Foran and Eagle. Sorry Odhiambo and Sanchez your not on the list yet but you will be when you score 2 goals as from today.
  2. Sounds like a collectors item to me you'll have to get the team to sign it too.
  3. Your ticket should be fine, best to check with the powers that be though. considering there was just under 3,300 at the County v Dundee match, then I think anything over 5000 will be good, thats 2000 main stand 2000 north and 1000 countay away fans. County have just had 3 home fixtures in a week, so the social loan has long run out so maybe less than 1000 4876
  4. I wondered when this type of post would appear, Last season I worked out what was the minimum amount of points required to stay up. I have a totally different out look this year, its 3 points every game it may not happen every week but it has to be the mentality of winners. I would like to win the cup in Ayr but we need to be more than 3 points ahead of Dundee and 9 points ahead of County, as they will have 2 midweek games to play after Ayr.
  5. Just go and enjoy the game, no one really cares who you are or who you go with. If I can wrangle some work to tie in with a midweek game in the central belt I'm off like a shot and its not hard to speak to the people next to you, wanting to see ICT play, quickly overcomes the thought of sitting on your own. I used to be self conscious about sitting on my own in a restaurant at a table for 1 when working away but I really don't care and surprisingly enough neither does anyone else.
  6. I wonder where some people get their info from. Russell will serve a one match ban from 3/4/10. At least he can get some rest for the visit of Raith and watch the game from the stand.
  7. I believe we will win the cup on a day that we don't play.
  8. Whats another name for a cupboard in Dingwall? A wheelie bin.it can also be used as a wendy hoose when the food runs out.
  9. Well done to the away fans, hope you can all make the county game.
  10. how quickly can u update the table scotty
  11. bouncy bouncy bouncy bouncy
  12. SFA site says Duncan is suspended for 1 game commencing 3/4/2010 which means he'll miss the Raith Rovers game (I think?) Also noticed that lee griffiths misses the county game and Ayr ------------------------Esson------------------ Proctor-----Tokely-----Munro-----golabeck --------------cox-------------duncan--------- Hayes----------------------------------eagle -----------rooney---------foran-------------
  13. Didnt vote, Its not the clubs that I dislike its the numpties that follow them and the 'watch yer car fea ye mr' D##k heads.
  14. On the same note don't write off ICT either, against Airdrie, 4-0 up still pushing for more goals and defending like they had a 1 goal lead to protect. Just forget about last year its gone, I have faith in the players, T&M and the team spirit.
  15. Not worth debating really, when I mentioned pulling people back to the pie shop area who have lost interest of late I should have included the words 'to make a purchase'.
  16. No probs W101 I'll see what I can do.
  17. Everyone believed him because hes a class act and left Scottish football on good terms. His wife did have medical problems but he could hardly say that he was sick of playing against mediocre teams.
  18. When Ict had a meeting at TCS with the fans to see if they backed the proposal for SPL football, I'm sure they mentioned that we had just about broken even financially and that was due to revenue of @460k from reaching the semis. Do clubs earn money for winning games, from the cup sponsors?
  19. I would say that things have improved in main stand north, space to walk around now, more staff and faster queues. As for prices I don't think that they will change, if Lindleys dropped their prices by 10% that may be a 40% drop in profit for them (I just pulled 40% out of the air by the way,it depends how much they have to sell to make a profit) Going slightly off topic, seeing as there is no speaker system around the toilet/ pie shop area is there any chance of planting a portable radio on top of the wall opposite the toilets, open all mikes ? by any chance. It would be good to hear whats happening around the grounds and it pulls people back to the pie shop area who may have lost interest of late and have decided to stay away.
  20. You could have given the ?20 to sports relief it would have more use than backing a losing team County are in the cup semis? how did they get there, a win over Berwick,Inverurie locos,Stirling and they have eventually come up against an SPL team and beaten them and even that win was more to do with the Hibs keeper being inept than County being great as both goals dribbled in..
  21. Works for the best interests of the top 8 clubs of the SPL for prime revenue. points system for league and reduction to 8 teams is seamless. But makes a mockery of teams going all out to put points on the board in div 1 , do the 1st div points disappear when merging with SPL and what happens to the bottom SPL teams points, the split of SPL /SFL wouldn't tie in and would have to filter down all the leagues too. If you wanted to make any attempt at splitting a SPL league fairly you could with 14 teams. After 26 games are played, 1 home 1 away, the top 6 SPL continues and play 1 home 1 away = 36 After 26 games are played, 1 home 1 away, the bottom 8 forms SPL2 and plays 1 home 1 away =40 It doesn't have to be called SPL2 you can just run a dotted line through a table and call it the SPL as they do at present. All the points home and away are accumulated fairly. More TV revenue and a larger gate for SPL, less at gate but more games to help in the SPL2. and an SPL2 cup to play for, it may seem like a worthless cup to some but a cup is a cup. 1 relegation and 1 play off

    Throw ins

I hate to think what the criticisms would be like if we only won by 3 goals and still kept a clean sheet.
  23. Fair point, what we have achieved counts for nothing unless we keep pushing on. Its more of a reply to the gloating of 2-0 and you threw it away. County wont have enough fit players by the end of the season.
  24. There has been a bit of speculation over the lead they had on us To clear things up on 19/12/09 and 26/12/09 they were 12 points ahead and we had played the same amount of games. By 17/1/10 they were 15 points ahead of us, we had 2 games in hand but they had the points on the board. 15 points and you threw it away !!!
  25. Thats a shame, County have to play 2 games a week for 6 weeks. Do you honestly think they can put everything into every game from now till the end of the season. After 3 weeks in they still have to play, tue-Morton a, sat- Airdrie a, tue- Qos a, sat- Partick h,tue- Ayr a, sat-Raith a. Thats a lot of travelling. After beating hibs not only are they playing 2 games a week for 6 weeks they now have to squeeze in a thursday night game too against morton, see if you can get a refund.
