  1. Now been given the OK. Any designs greatly appreciated, the dimentions will be to a scale of 1m x 70 cm or 70cm x 1m.
  2. Hi this has been delayed again slightly need to check a couple of things with the supplier.
  3. Thanks for the info Thomas23 With thanks to the above we are now aiming to buy a 10m x 5m surfer flag. the web site is quoting £330 plus postage. If I can get another 16 people on board we are getting a surfer flag. Another 10 ayes and I will start collecting money via paypal, as its not too much below the required target. I havent started collecting yet as I dont want to take anyones money and still not produce a flag.
  4. Excellent news.
  5. Looking good. 13 say aye so far £130 which is half way there to a 4m x 2m Surfer Flag already but I feel we can do far better than that. www.xtremegraphics.co.uk 4m x 2m £200 plus vat and delivery 8m x 4m £695 " " Once we can get a minimum of 25 people to give their word to pledge £10. I will then look at ways of collecting the money, For our 20th Anniversary, League Cup Final, Surfer Flag but for now if your a person of your word then just say you will donate £10. Ps Renegade, I have checked with Celtic and a surfer flag will be permitted before KO and at Half time but not during the cup final. Roby no its not on Facebook but feel free to spread the word
  6. For now lets see how many people are interested. Stage 2 Design flag. ( Completely open to suggestions ). Stage 3 Balance design & size v cost from supplier. Stage 4 Collect money, I think the most bonafide way may be to donate to the club shop ( although I havent asked as at an early stage before I offend anyone) Stage 5 Order it. Stage 6 Show off our new flag.
  7. Due to time constraints with the cup final being only 5 weeks away, A decision will have to be made this coming weekend to see if its viable. If you want to donate let us know soon.
  8. I think it was a subject worth talking about and certainly worth highlighting. Anything is possible right now and its up to you all to be speaking to absolutely anyone about our entertaining game on tv and coax them along to the cup final. Whingeing doesnt solve anything.
  9. Thats great news
  10. At least we can rest players and still field a quality team. We have so many good players now that some didn't even make it on to the bench for the cup game. At least they can player their part in the league.
  11. That sounds like a good idea you can count me in.
  12. Please put your name down in principle if you want to donate to the fans flag. Was thinking £10 a throw. If there's enough interest then we can make things happen.
  13. After watching Keogh scoring against Clyde followed by Hissy in the second last game of the season in the run up to promotion. Beating Hearts in the Scottish cup, Bagan toying with the defender before scoring the goal. Reaching the Scottish cup semis. Beating Aberdeen away mid week 3-2 ( Caley Jags Away) Equalizing with County to make it 3-3 I would say that after getting knocked out of the cup, same venue, same opposition, home advantage for opposition, Macdonalds dirty tactics to put off the players in penalties. The game also took the stuffing out of us for the following weeks. To come up against the same opponents, same conditions, with everything against us, to equalize with only 9 men, when everyone thought we were down and out. The unity and togetherness of the remaining team, the discipline and composure shown during the remaining 30 minutes whilst still trying to win the game then to take it to penalties, to have the 1st penalty saved to then totally out class them on how to win on penalties. I would say its certainly the most emotional match I can ever recall and a Major cup final for the very 1st time to boot.
  14. Read opening post on cjt semi final update
  15. I see the Hearts v St Mirren match is on BBC Alba.
  16. Enjoy the build up and enjoy the day. The team has done a lot to get this far, enjoy that fact, our wee club with a big team are in a semi final 2 years in a row. Well done ICT, its now up to you if you want to go that step further.
  17. Ive heard of Movember, Beards for Bairns and I know some women who are collecting for Fanuary but not sure what that entails.
  18. What will be will be. We could have been playing a Hearts team in all their glory in their high spending days and doing well in the league but will probably be playing a knackered young team who got kicked around the park by Jim Goodwin and his pals a few nights prior. I wouldn't be surprised if they try something dodgy though.
  19. As I recall if you looked at Rooneys stats most of his goals were scored against the bottom club then reduced in goals as you went further up the league, only 1 top six goal and that was during a 4-0 win over united. Where as Billy Mackay scores when he wants. 425K
  20. Good move, lets the player focus on his club and gets rid of any ifs buts and maybes. If he is reluctantly sold we have time to replace and saves weeks of mind games then the window shuts. I doubt he will be going anywhere, so lets him concentrate on his football.
  21. I would encourage anyone who is still swithering to go and book. Its a great deal especially for youngsters. I look back with fond memories to our Scottish cup giant killing days, the camaraderie, the togetherness of our fans en masse and the belief that our team can take on anyone and win. Be part of the ICT bus convoy and be part of a good day out.

I think the board are doing a pretty good job balancing the books as it is, even if they got 1M handed to them, I very much doubt it would be blown on wages, even being high up the table didn't draw in a bigger crowd and increase profits. In the long term our team getting us to a cup final or even winning a cup final will probably have a higher long term value than a short term 1M. If I struck it rich I would probably want to spend it on improved facilities for the team and fans than wages and probably set up a trust fund like the late Eddie Thompson did for DDU. I also wished that he could have seen his club win their cup final before he passed away.
  23. Nicky, Nicky Ross Nicky, Nicky Ross. unless your the guy at the County match Nicky Ross, Nicky Nicky Ross.
  24. A run of defeats including a terrible game against county. Sunday was a huge improvement of late and I'm happy to take all the positives from the game, 4 potential strikers, 2 gutsy midfielders who also like to test the keeper with power and a respected back 4, bring on the D***s, Ooops I seem to have given them 3 stars instead of 2
  25. Huge improvement today, great fighting spirit and a good team selection, even the subs showed promise, the boys are back in town. On that performance Aberdeen are catchable.
