  1. What a great photograph. I must admit that, had I been asked, I would have said that 'Joopy'Mitchell didn't leave Caley until a year or two later than that. It would be great to have a 'where are they now?' on all of the team shown. I know that Rod Clyne passed away many years ago, and Tom McNiven (the trainer), but I don't know about any of the others. Interesting to see how many of that Jags team also played for Caley at some point, Mitchell, Clyne, Jamieson, Christie.
  2. Yes, I'd like to add my congratulations to all the others. In my opinion, he has been given a lot of undeserved stick on this site, from some people in particular, who see him as the reason for all ICT's backroom unrest (if there is any!). On a purely footballing front, despite being obviously unfit when he joined us, I think he is a class act, and fully deserves his recall to the Romanian squad. Personally, I hope he is still with us next season, but if he has to go, then being a current internationalist can do us no harm in the transfer market. Good luck to him
  3. Apparently David Blaine, the well known American magician/illusionist, famous for his many well publicised stunts, is really hacked off that Owen has smashed his 44 day record of hanging around in a box doing feck all!
  4. I agree with that. Having said that, I'm generally pleased with Fraser's progress, but Zibi, as you said, only had one outing in the first team, and admittedly, made a hash of it, but the stick he takes is way over the top. Look at the howlers England goalkeepers have made in recent months, Carson/ Robinson for example, and these guys are probably earning 20/30 times what Zibi earns.
  5. I went on a week's golf holiday with 3 friends. All one of them took with him was a pair of underpants and a ?5 note. He didn't change either of them all week!!!!
  6. The very best of luck, I really think you'll do it
  7. Our defending at set pieces is appalling!. It was the same against Celtic the other night.
  8. As I'm a friend of Steve Perryman, one of Spurs great stalwarts from yesteryear, and now Director of Football at Exeter City, I keep an eye on Spurs results, and am pleased they are showing signs of revival. I can still remember their great side from the early 60s! I don't really support them but on the few occasions I've been Steve's guest in his private suite at White Hart Lane, rubbing shoulders with Pat Jennings, Martin Chivers and the like, I've found it prudent not to support the opposition!
  9. Player revolt???? Maybe we should have a board called 'Wild, provocative, unfounded speculation' , where this sort of rubbish could be posted, rather than Rumour.
