Agree 100% I see he got on as sub after only 6 minutes today. Playing in front of over 8000. Not bad for 5th tier of English football. We'd like even half that at our home games.

Dundee -V- Inverness CT
Given where we were in the league a few weeks ago, it is great that we can now think about the possibility of reaching the play-offs. Still an awful lot of work with steady improvement needed. I suppose 2nd or 3rd are equally acceptable (given that we are unlikely to be 1st) to avoid playing the premiership club in the play -off 'semi'. Onwards and upwards, starting with a good win at Falkirk on Saturday.

Ex-ICT players' news
Interesting. He was well liked, and successful with Blackpool, but surprisingly left to go to Bury at the start of this season. Presumably things have not worked out for him there.

Inverness CT -V- Queen of the South
Well said. I haven't seen enough games live to be able to comment about the contribution of Pollworth or Vigurs, but I do know that certain sections of our support over the years never seem happier than when they are having a go at our own players. It goes right back over the years to when Rory McAllister was a young lad playing for us. He got a torrid time from some of our support. But, I would suggest that he has proved himself to be a prolific scorer over the years, albeit at a lower level, and someone we should have encouraged and nutured, rather than virtually hound him out. Recent seasons have shown us how much we need a striker.

Roy Plays well in ODI
Yes, a comfortable win yesterday. England seem to go in to these ODIs (and 20/20 matches) with a different, much less negative, attitude. Good to see them turn the Aussies over.

This season's refereeing
Don't know if the standard of referees is that much better even in the EPL. They've awarded two clear cut 'hand ball' goals in the last couple of weeks!

Ex-ICT players' news
In fact, since his one good season with us, he has been less than prolific wherever he has been, especially in England.

Away fans
As previous poster said, plenty of clubs allow home and away fans to share different sections of the same stand. Only last week end I attended Oxford United v Blackpool and it was like this. I went with my mad keen Blackpool pal who lives near me in Berkshire. About 300/400 Blackpool fans, including me as a Blackpool fan for the day, occupied about one fifth of one of the stands. No problems at all going to, leaving the ground, or during the match. First time I'd been to an EFL league 1 match live. Not terribly impressed, certainly no better than most of the Scottish football I've seen. As an aside, pre-match we drank for at least an hour in the Oxford United club bar along with many other away fans, most of whom were wearing Blackpool colours, alongside umpteen home fans also wearing their club colours. No problems at all.

Ex-ICT players' news
As long as he doesn't sign for us again I'll be happy. Our discipline is bad enough this season. Imagine what it would be like with him (Ian Black) back in the squad!

Ex ICT Players Score
Scorers this afternoon (30 Dec) Sam Winnall (2) for Derby Doug Imrie for Hamilton Jason Brown (2) for Peterhead Rory McAllister for Peterhead Also, in checking up on a few players I hadn't seen on recent scoresheets I found that Jason Oswell, previously with Newtown in Wales, moved to Stockport County in August this year, and so far, has scored 19 (yes nineteen!) goals for them in the National League North. Don't know how I hadn't spotted that sooner.

James Vincent
Vincent will always be remembered for the great run he made to score our winner in the cup final. But he has played very little football for Dundee, and I don't think he would add a lot to what we've got already. A 'no' from me.

Highland Derbies Next Season
No, when we get promotion by winning the end of season play-offs, and County get relegated by losing theirs, we will still be in different leagues next season.
