Well, that was some finish. Overall a fair result. Both sides second goals were flukey. We controlled first half, although not generating many chances. County were much the better side in the second half, but we hung in there. Great work by OTJ to force the corner to give us the equalised by Foran. Foran was immense today in both defence and attack. MOM by miles I'd say. Very poor crowd! I expected 6000 plus. I wonder how many will show up for the replay on a Tues night mid Dec? I'm just glad we're in the draw for the next round. Concentrate on Hibs next week now, where we could consolidate 2nd place in SPL on our own. Who'd have thought that 3 months ago? Great credit to all the team and management.

Luckily I can get BBC Scotland on my FreeSat system. I've got a housefull of mainly Reading supporters, arriving shortly. Then they're all off to see Reading v Man utd live at 17.30. I only hope they see ICT at our best unlike when they last watched ICT with me on Sky in that unmentionable game 3 matches ago! I'd rather be in Dingwall, but TV is a good second best. Come on lads, keep up the good form shown for the majority of this season.

That sounds excellent. Nothing like that round this area of Englandshire unfortunately. The best I've had is a few years ago in a little seaside village called Seahouses in Northumberland.

Clynelish - my all time favourite - currently got a 14 yo . Find it quite hard to get down here. I usually get one from Duty Free when I'm abroad.

Still must be our greatest ever servant and a true legend, unlike many of the johnny-come-latelys banded about on the Legends thread.

Gary has been a great signing for us, strong in defence, and dangerous when he goes forward for corners/free kicks. I just hope he remains injury free for the rest of the season. It seems as if you Newport fans arn't really missing him either. So its a win/win for both of us.

I think one of the most pleasing things is that this was one of these games that we could easily have lost, and probably would have last season. Especially when we lost a goal in injury time at the interval, and then another one soon after. But we have a bit more grit about us these days and seem more able to grind out a result when we do manage to get ahead late in the game. Only the Hearts game at home in recent weeks gives the lie to this, and that was only because of an extremely soft penalty. Long may it continue.

Absolutely fantastic. I had to follow it on BBC' s red button 'final score' programme as my internet connection has only just come back after being down since about 6pm. No finger nails left. The whisky is out here too, just a wee 18yo Glenlivet, for medicinal purposes.

What an absolute tool Abramovich is. It strikes me that he only saw Di Matteo as a stop gap manager when he appointed him last year. The brilliant success Di Matteo brought them in a few short months was probably, strangely, an embarrassment to Abramovich, who clearly couldn't wait for the first hiccough so that he could bin DM. Six managers in 5 years! Who in their right mind would want to go there? How long before Abramovich throws his toys out of the pram altogether and sells Chelsea, probably leaving them massively in debt?

Good player, yes, but legend? Hardly. I feel this word is banded about far too easily, and often these days. For the reasons you quoted yourself (ie his nasty side) I would never view him anywhere near legend status. Anyway, have we really missed him? Arguably Hayes and maybe A Shinnie have been his equal, or better at times.

With the rightful demise of Rangers, its just as well that our neighbours across the bridge got promoted, otherwise our average home attendance would be even lower than its current pathetic level. I just can't understand the apathy in Inverness towards ICT and SPL football. I can't believe that it harps back to the 'merger'. Someone on here hinted that Inverness doesn't deserve an SPL team. I'm beginning to think that has got more than a grain of truth in it. After all the trauma of the merger in the early 90s and the brilliant performance working our way up through the leagues in about 10 years, it is an absolute travesty that the bulk of the indiginous support apparently couldn't care less.

Just the most embarassing display I've ever seen from us. More so for me as I'd persuaded a couple of Reading supporters to watch it with me, after I'd built us up something rotten over recent weeks. To be fair to them they were fairly gentle with me, out of pity I suspect. Defence to a man was terrible. 'Well looked liked scoring every time they went forward. Ruegero kept it from being a drubbing until he gave away two soft goals at the end. Esson back in his rightful place next week methinks. Only Doran and Foran earned pass marks from me, although Doran always seems to try to do too much with the ball. Did Morrison touch the ball? I didn't know he was on the field until he got subbed! This pathetic performance may infuence Celtic to put a few reserves in next week, which may save us from another drubbing. Back to the drawing board, but top 6 was nice while it lasted.

Shinnie subbed midway through second half. He was pretty anonymous second half to be fair.

Hugely disappointing to throw away two points, not for the first time this season. Felt sorry for Tudor-Jones who'd had a good game, including 'goal of the season' contender. Very soft penalty. We always looked good going forward, and created some chances, even in last couple of minutes following equaliser. Like last week v Killie we dominated the first half and although we had our backs to the wall for most of the second half, our defence stood firm until the penalty and, unlike at Killie, I couldn't see the opposition scoring. How wrong I was. I can't see Roberts getting many more starts after that performance. Andrew Shinnie also not at his best I thought. My MOM by a country mile was David Raven, solid in defence and dangerous going forward. A real chance to go level at the top, even for a few hours, missed.

You're right tm4tj. Much as I'd like to see our lads commit themselves for another two years, I'd be surprised if many of them do. The opportunity for some of them to jump from £1500 a week (I'm guessing) to £5k or more a week will be too big a temptation, and frankly, I wouldn't blame them. I feel ICT will always be the sort of club where we have to rebuild every year. At least this time Terry seems to have got it right so I for one am happy just to enjoy the moment.
