C'mon boys! Start making my optimistic (but not impossible)dreams come true tonight (The Final Three thread) - you can do it - you are TITANIUM.
-
Sounds do-able .
-
Drunk on life haha. If it's no impossible, it's possible Robert.
-
Thanks Robert for working all that out. I can definitely envisage that happening and I'm sure that the team are envisaging it too. Have a wee dram Robert, to potentially celebrate - make sure it is half full. Cheers ICT We are Titanium.

Can anyone who is good at working out these kind of things, work out if the remaining fixtures for all the clubs make it possible for us to actually win the league if we won out last three games and other results went in our favour? I have been so busy looking at 4th place that I hadn't realised how close to the top we are now. Now wouldn't that be something to aim for - the league and the cup! Ever the glass half full optimist.

Just back from my technology free holiday, and what great results from the boys. It happens every year - the team lose faith, we lose faith, we all threaten not to buy a season ticket next year - and then ICT pull some magic out of the hat, and we all enjoy a nerve wracking, nail biting finish to the season .....keep it up boys, this is what it is all about and who knows where it could take us, both in the league and the cup. Oh, and I got my T shirts today - thanks to all those involved ... all set for the semi final.
-
Disc golf at Torvean. Grab a frisbee (per player) and head down to enjoy this freebie. Not sure what the technical term for throwing a frisbee is, but you just work around the yellow baskety things, trying to get your frisbee in each one and the scoring is apparently a bit like golf!

I think there was only a limited number of the pre-final embroidered shirts made (100 is the figure in my head) -I got my other half one for his 50th. The rest were produced after we won - still my favourite shirt to wear - I liked the style that year and the embroidery added a nice touch.
-
Well done boys. This is when Caley Thistle are at their best - making up for past mistakes and missed chances, when they are really under pressure. I'll be on holiday for the next couple of games, but I'm confident that we will win both - I never let the glass get below half full.
-
C'mon ICT. Keeping the faith - one win at a time.

'The Road To Hampden' - Pre-order your semi-final T-shirts
CaleyHedgehog replied to High1ander's topic in Caley Thistle
T shirts ordered, hotel booked, tickets to buy tomorrow ..... roll on the Semi final. -
Not sure what planet I was on , but I thought that the game was on tomorrow and would have been there, until I saw this thread - a totally painless way to celebrate a win. Well done to all. I believe.
-
C'mon boys - keep up the good work at tomorrow's game. I'm confident of a good result.

I was wondering which of the seating areas will be the one to go for, with the best atmosphere?

I still feel bitter about the push by Considine on Richie Foran in the League Cup final. I can still see it now, I was looking right at them when it happened. It must have been heartbreaking for Foran looking back at it, especially considering how his ICT career went downhill when he became a manager, despite having been well regarded as a player. It would have been a wonderful career highlight for him.

Fair point

They do I expect them I just think people forget about all the injuries we've had, the budget (or lack of it) we have and just how tight the Championship is, but I BELIEVE.
-
Next day now and I still can't quite get my head round it, but it's true - ICT shall go to the Hampden Ball! Yaaaaaaaaaaay! So happy for Aaron that his testimonial will be an altogether jollier occasion tonight, because of the result - wish I was going. Congrats Aaron and have fun - you deserve it.
-
Yes...... I must make my predictions (in memory of Mystic Meg) more often. Fantastic game. Well done boys. Well done Billy Dodds and coaching staff. Well done fans for your constant singing and support throughout the game. I can admit now that I couldn't face the cold tonight and watched from my armchair.....wish I had gone now. ICT are TITANIUM.
-
Too right! If we don't have faith in our boys then what is the point in being a supporter? I think we will wipe the floor (icy grass) with Killie tonight and book our place in the semis. Get out there and enjoy yourselves boys and give it your best shot - you are bullet proof, nothing to lose, TITANIUM, as the song says.

I loved when the noisy crew were in the north stand as they g'eed the rest of us up to make a wee bit of noise, but I also enjoy watching their antics when they are on form (not so much lately), in the west stand. Keep on making a racket guys, for those of us that are getting too old and decrepit to make much noise nowadays. Someone has to teach the words to such classics as Inverness is Wonderful to the little fans.

Brilliant to get the win. I think we forget sometimes just how tight the championship is and while every win counts, a single loss can result in a tumble down the table. Personally I find the jeopardy element adds to the excitement, but I feel that some posters get too irate when we are on the losing end. There is a lot of worry off the pitch at the moment and I think that the team can benefit far more from positive comments than insults. I know I am a bit happy clappy but I think a bit of praise and confidence in our team can go a long way. Hope todays win is the start of a good run. Well done boys.
-
Well done boys.
-
I agree. Hopefully the cup decision has given the team a boost. Get out there boys and gie it laldy!
-
Early pitch inspections are common sense for all who have to travel far to games, but I'm not sure that the same respect is always shown to teams from the North when they are travelling south to the central belt for games.
