  1. I'm quietly confident of a win. Come on Caley thistle.
  2. I love it! I just keep playing 'jeezy peeps' again and again - it is the mix of the quaint turn of phrase and the sheer disappointment that you can hear in the guy's voice - it just cracks me up every time.
  3. Bring it on.........well done boys!
  4. Hope Scarlet is well. He was very supportive to me a few years ago after a cancer diagnosis. I very much enjoyed the chit chat when I was off work while receiving treatment.
  5. This quote sums todays game up for me - it wasn't the most skillful game and we were outclassed in the first half, but I loved the fact that the team were so keen to have a go at goal this week, rather than time wasting passing to others and giving our opponents time to get their defence organised. Take your chances when they come boys and all will be well. Could another reason for ICT's outstanding win today be the return to the stadium of Lional Nessie? Great to see him/her on such jolly form and they could be our lucky charm.
  6. So sad. It really says something, to read about how few of the people who chatted with Kingsmills online, knew him in the real world. On this site, he seemed be known well by everyone, I just thought that everyone must know him really well. I suppose in a way we did... Rest in Peace friend.
  7. Less of the old please, but I am that person who refuses to be a slave to a mobile phone - although it is becoming increasingly difficult to keep up in many aspects of modern life because I don't use a mobile. Bring back the programs please!
  8. Come on ICT - keeping the faith.
  9. He could do worse! There are some cracking footballers amongst the girls and boys at Dalneigh P.S. - ICT stars of the future perhaps.
  10. SPOTTED! Lional Nessie was spotted taking part in running The Daily Mile at Dalneigh Primary School this afternoon - maybe he could be on the subs bench, given the lack of fit players.
  11. Me too! I thought the boys gave it their best and Ridgers deserves a mention for making some fantastic saves. I just hope we don't have another one on the injury list now.
  12. Gutted, but so proud of our team, our club and our fans. You did us proud and fought to the last. We cannot ask for more. Thank you.
  13. Still feeling positive. I was in a classroom today and 'Titanium' was being used as part of a musical English Comprehension lesson in P6. It is our time - I believe.
  14. I'm feeling luckier with every passing hour. I put the radio on earlier and Titanium was playing which i always consider to be a lucky anthem for us. I believe.
  15. I'm feeling lucky.
  16. The first half has completely been erased from my memory by the second half - what a night. Well done boys, Billy Dodds and all involved. That is what we go to games to see. The atmosphere was electric in the crowd, and the noise in the stands was as supportive as the lads could have hoped for. Thanks to the club for all the tickets gifted to young players and school pupils this week. I know for a fact that the youngsters from Dalneigh had a ball. These are our future season ticket holders and I'm sure they will return after last nights excitement. Great to see that lots of the youngsters were female - ICT are really raising the profile of women's football in the city and surrounding area. Best of luck for Monday - wish I could go - get those pink strips on and gie them laldy down in Perth.
  17. I was just about to add my twopennyworth, to the red card fiasco, but Izzy, you have taken the words out of my mouth. Well said! Our boys seem to triumph in adversity, and so use this lads to give you the strength to battle out a win on Friday. We'll be right behind you - We believe.
  18. Totally agree. Still we got our own back on Tuesday's time wasting goalie towards the end of last nights game. Haha.
  19. I wonder if the club would consider having a Pay What You Can game next Friday. It would be great to fill the stadium and tempt in some new fans for next season in the top flight (fingers crossed). I have noticed a lot of new faces, especially young ones, attending the play off games and it would be great to keep building the momentum. In the current economic climate, it would be a nice gesture to those who are struggling financially, and these initiatives can have a funny way of actually being financially beneficial to the club. Let's create an atmosphere.
  20. Well Done to the players, management, travelling fans and everyone connected to the club last night. I too, felt I was back in 2014 as the number of players on the pitch kept reducing, but it made the victory all the sweeter. Keep on Believing!
  21. And the women's team too , an important part of the ICT family.
  22. I love it! Maybe I'm just a glass half full, happy clappy type, but it's a wee bit different and I love the personalisation of the song (and my eyesight is not good enough to have spotted the error yet). You are never going to please all the people, so here's hoping it brings with it good fortune for the team next season, then it will be job done. (If they do manage to alter the text, perhaps the prototypes will become much sought after collectors items, and we'll all want one). C'mon Boys, let's see if we can be sporting it in the top tier next season.
  23. A bit off topic -sorry- but it is the Government's Track and Trace system which decides which individual pupils/ classes/ whole schools are told to self isolate, according to their figures about how the virus is spreading. Individual schools are just following orders.
  24. I know it is a big ask, but I've just been thinking about our first time moving up to the top flight and how ICT seemed to come out of nowhere in the last few games to claim the prize. I'll never forget the pitch invasion while we waited for the helicopter to continue its journey to Inverness. The teams above us will be getting nervy now and the boys have nothing to lose by throwing everything at it. C'mon ICT - you can do it.
  25. The Ukrainian flag was the first thing I noticed on arrival at the stadium on Saturday. It made me feel proud of the supporters involved and of the club for their support. I don't think a flag exists that is too big to show, in support of those from Ukraine. It may be that as a result of all these small gestures of support, that the people of Ukraine will find the strength to carry on. I had wondered if there would have been a collection at the gates for those in need as a result of the situation. I would be happy to be involved if there was one at a home game.
