Player of the Year - Peterhead
I've given young MacKay three for around four minutes on the pitch, both for his performance and energy, and for reminding us there is hope for the future!

Analysis so far!
It didn't work last season, I was at all home games except the two against Celtic, when I was on holiday and then working, so I am not the cure to our problems! I keep trying to get my wife to come to games, her record is two wins out of two: the cup final and St Johnstone last season, but she keeps refusing!

Raven not again
He did as his child starts school next year so he wants to be settled. Shame, though, as his experience could be key behind the scenes as well as on the park. Shame Nick Ross won't sign on a short term deal whilst training here. I hope his ambition to play abroad comes to fruition and his career does not stall.

This poll is for last week's game. Today's is not up yet. I agree though, MacKay was a breath of fresh air in his five minutes on the pitch.

I agree with the assessment of Doofers Dad. After the early goal, we were second best throughout the first half, but the second was better. Another clean sheet is a positive, but Fon Willliams had a couple of saves and Peterhead wasted a couple of chances. That said, we missed several when we should have done better. Some decent fairly fast forward moves in the second half, including the two goals. Defensively we still look shaky at times, with Donaldson the pick of the bunch. Tremarco will hopefully return to his best soon, Our midfield did not seize control. Some individual good points from each of them, but not consistent, and not always tracking back when we lost possession. I like Bell, and was surprised he was taken off. Baird was busy but not really effective. The highlight was young MacKay. In fairness he should have put Baird in when he ran forward with the ball, but who can blame him for trying to score. But only a moment later he did get his goal. I hope he kicks on and becomes our next home grown talent, and his enthusiasm and impact encourages Robertson to give others a chance. It was not a 3-0 game, but winning was important, and hopefully we can start to win points in the league, but three tough games looming!

And if Tremarco stays fit, I wouldn't be surprised if we get offers for him.

Worst Ict team ever?
I was just saying to my wife (who has only been to the cup final and the win over St Johnstone last season) that none of today's team would make the cup final team apart from Fon Williams and Tremarco (I know he only started then as Raven was injured). I am still stunned by how much has gone wrong in only 28 months, although I accept the warning signs were there back then.

Captain
I thought he was trying to encourage the team and give direction, possibly at the expense of his own game. Perhaps looked different depending on where in the ground you were.

A very poor game, we were fortunate to get a point against a Queen of the South team that I felt were poor at the back: on the few occasions we pressed them they panicked a bit. First half pretty even between two poor teams. Second half we did nothing and could have been thumped, but Fon Williams and (for a change) a couple of refereeing dcisions kept us alive. Fon Williams was my man of the match. The defence need credit for somehow not conceding. Donaldson and Mckay did surprisingly well. Much as I like Raven, he is short of pace now and a couple of crosses were poor. He deserved his booking. I don't think Tremarco is fully fit yet, but the knock before half time couldn't have helped him. His booking was harsh Disappointed in Trafford today, and didn't like his cynicism by deliberately knocking Rankin after their handbags tussle in the second half. He is picking no up too many bookings too. Vigurs tried to encourage and had a few good passes, and Polworth had a couple of good moments too. Our midfield lacks pace. Bell the pick of the front men, but had little to work with. Baird busy but lacks pace. Oakley didn't impress. Calder did nothing when he came on, with Mulraney lively but not having an impact. I share the concerns of others. Two tough away games next, no points and we are getting badly detached. I don't recall an attempt on or off target troughout the second half either. My favourite moment was before kick off seeing Warren chatting with young fans for a while. That shows how poor the game was.

Marley Watkins credited with an assist in the Championship for Norwich tonight, with Morais sent off for crumbling Bolton.

In with the New......
We need at least Watkins and Vincent too, plus Raven for the semi winner and celebration!!

Robertson Out
I don't think sendings off due to two yellow cards can be appealed.
