Player of the Year - Dundee
I'm in London due to work, but with 7 votes cast and all for Mark Ridgers, does that indicate how tonight's game was!! We need to focus on Saturday now and a vital game for our play off hopes.

And great to hear him speak so positively about his time me here!

Falkirk -V- Inverness CT
I can't argue with any of Robbo's comments, just hope he and the players can now deliver on it! I can't go on Tuesday as working, but hopefully we get a great result then and against United next weekend. Incredibly we are still close to the play offs, although others have games in hand, but it is within our own control if we can get a grip of the discipline and get a winning run going. As for Mulraney, that was a disgraceful few minutes..... No one can defend him.

They are in promotion contention, and Tranmere is really a derby match for them. Great to see him get a team close to his home. Hopefully he gets a longer deal and a chance to start a coaching career.

Falkirk (A) Preview : 27/01/18
If Trafford doesn't make it and we don't risk Doran, what about: Ridgers Mckay, Warren, Donaldson, Calder Mulraney, Seedorf, Chalmers, Bell Oakley, Austin

Dundee -V- Inverness CT
We did really well in the first half and were the better team. We could have had a couple more, although in fairness we could also have conceded a couple. For example, just before half time, Oakley had a great chance but could not take it. The second half was bossed by Dundee until after their second, and we were probably lucky to stay in it. Ridgers had several decent stops. The guys dug deep and played their way back in to it, and got a deserved equaliser with Oakley capitalising on a defensive mix up. We came close a couple of times before then, particularly a Bell header that the keeper saved well, and a Polworth shot. A great celebration from the team at that goal, and they seemed delighted with the noisy support, from all 347 of us (according to the tannoy announcer). We largely matched Dundee and can hopefully win the replay a week on Tuesday. Well done one and all, and I hope Trafford recovers quickly after what seemed a bad one.

Dundee Preview
I'm really looking forward to this one. Both teams are on good runs, and we are probably quite evenly matched. Our last trip to Dens was a great evening, even if a false dawn, but can give us confidence. And I'd forgotten it was Dundee that Hamilton thrashed at the end of the season to condemn us to our fate. Hopefully a decent, noisy away crowd to encourage the players.

Player of the Year - Queen of the South
Ricky Calder is named in the SPFL Team of the Week this week. Well done Ricky!

Billy Mckay Hatrick at Ross County
Billy did great work when here, which we all appreciate. I really hope we get a Caley Thistle - Ross County play off final. Pressure, yes, but what a boost in profile it would be for the Highlands.

Still basking in the glory of 7 goals and 6 points this week! Forgot to mention the save from Polworth's shot that the keeper had, great shot and great save. It could easily have been a much higher scoring game. Great entertainment, great attitude from the players, great afternoon! But we should do a video compilation of referee howlers....

Joe Chalmers
I agree, he does a lot of work quietly. I first picked up on it when he was immense at Tannadice a few months ago. I want to see the goal though: it looked like a daisy cutter so goodness knows how it went in! Glad it did.

And just realised the power of an iPad.... jump ties should have been numpties! Spell checker at work.

Ok, happy to stand corrected.

queens brought a few jump ties today. The way they celebrated their goal with chants of "easy" they must have been at a different game!

This season's refereeing
Not me, he didn't touch the player and I think it should have been a throw in to us as it looked like it went out. The Vigurs decision was a shocker too.

Inverness CT -V- Queen of the South
A well deserved win against a team that are no mugs. Vigurs and Polworth had great games, Calder was a revelation at left back, Ridgers had a few decent saves, Donaldson oozes class, the front three defended from the front. Not a failure amongst the 13 played. We are playing attractive stuff, creating chances and scoring. Long may that continue. The ref and near side linesman were poor. How the ref saw fit to book Vigurs for being pushed to the ground when the ball was dead defeats me. Donaldson was very unlucky to get booked too. Credit to Robbo for hooking Vigurs after the booking to save the risk of another yellow. A tough 15 days for the team, but 10 points in that time and we must be in with a decent chance of the play offs. Well done guys, roll on Dundee!

Inverness CT -V- Falkirk
Been away since early Wednesday and just wTched the highlights. I thought it was a penalty when I saw it live, but not so sure now. Pity the second claim is not shown. I agree with the comment above, Polworth was instrumental in the first two goals, in what was the most enjoyable first half for some time. Credit to Vigurs for getting back when Falkirk were 3 on 1 too. Great to see Mulraney score, hopefully more to come. Shame about the bookings, though. Is Vigurs suspended again or did I misread that in this thread? A very enjoyable evening! According to Robbo on MFR tonight, Tremarco is out for up to 8 weeks.
