Inverness CT -V- Rangers
I went hoping and came home delighted! A very poor start, but the break in play for Tremarco's injury seemed to let us regroup, and I thought from then on it was quite even. Two great goals, but agree with others that Tansey should take any penalties. Second a goal of the season contender? I was surprised Warren didn't start, but the result is what counts. Fon Williams kept us in it early on. Raven excelled when switched to left back. Mckay had a tough time, but Cole helped out. First time I have seen Laing and he did OK, and McCart much more assured than against Dundee. Great game from Tansey, Draper his usual self. Mulraney has come on a lot, but seemed to pick up a few knocks. Cole did OK, and better defensively than I have seen him. Polworth had a slow start but improved after a bollocking whilst Tremarco was down. Still feels he should give us more. And then a stunner from Mckay! Great night, particularly as I had three Rangers fans next to me. Strangely they left as soon as the second goal went in. If we get anything on Wednesday, it is a bonus. Partick away is the focus for me now! Very well done to the management team and players. Up to 11th, let's keep it going. Unbeaten in three league games!

ICT v Warburton & Weir Wanderers
We are due our first league win this year! I'd go with the "Foran XI" above, but with Doran in for Mulraney.

Hearts -V- Inverness CT
Be interested in views from those at the game. Would have taken a point before kick off but disappointed we did not hold out. Sounds like Hearts hit woodwork twice and we did once, but hopefully the point and penalty save show things may be turning for us: time will tell. Sportscene report says we were battling, hopefully a positive sign too. Still two big games coming up. Anything we can take from them will help. 14 games without a win is worst ever run in the top flight of the SPFL apparently.

Extended highlights on Alba on Saturday evening so fingers crossed they will be worth watching!

Celtic -V- Inverness CT
I was not at the game and couldn't watch it, so won't comment on how we did. However, just went on the club's site to check last week's Centenary Club results and spotted a news story about the Cup replay against Celtic with ticket information. How nice it would have been to be going to a replay tonight.... Presumably this was drafted in advance and should never have been uploaded to the site!

Josh out for rest of season: is that correct?

Team News - Injuries and Suspensions etc
Predicting team for Hearts will be tough then! King inelligible and Warren, Brad Mckay and Vigurs suspended. Hopefully Meekings fit by then and Raven stays fit.

Player of the Year - Dundee
Agreed, could have done a top six, but my choice: King Mckay Draper Can we add a rating for linesmen? The stand side one definitely needs to brush up on the offside rules!

Inverness CT -V- Dundee
I agree with most of the above. More fight and less predictable. Esson did not inspire confidence early on, but seemed to settle. Full backs generally ok, although Raven did cause concern with that back pass late on. Tremarco could have scored and unlucky to be booked. Warren seemed fine but McCart caused a few nervy moments and had a tough shift. In midfield, Dundee seemed to get a lot of space, but little criticism from me for Tansey or Vigurs. Both were up for it, witness Tansey's delight at scoring. Draper had a good shift including a stint up front when we were looking for the win. King had a good game and arguably our best player on the day. Anier better than last Saturday and great to have Mckay back. Very dangerous and a class above the strikers we have had for some time. Just a pity about the penalty he had saved. There were not two goals of a difference at half time, but as others have said we were slack at the second. It could have been worse, as Dundee missed some decent chances. Had our early effort off the post gone in, I believe we would have kicked on. Good showing in second half, delighted we turned it round as I would have taken a draw at half time, but I'm actually disappointed we didn't get a third. A tough month ahead, and any points in the next three league games may be a bonus, but I'm more hopeful than of late. It was great to hear more positivity and singing from the crowd than at most games this season too. We can still get out of this pickle!

Scottish cup round 5
After tonight, I feel the worst!

Player of the Year - Hamilton
Listened on radio, but don't think any worthy of the points. Will be interested to see who those who attended think deserve points. For me sadly, 0 from back to front!

Hamilton -V- Inverness CT
I didn't know Billy was back until just before kick off. That gave me hope, and once he and Anier are match fit, I hope things improve. The penalty save sounded pivotal and we did not recover from it. I just hope the senior players now lead by example. Tonight was bad, but Dundee should be a game we can win. If we can get a break, there is hope. I just hope we didn't "break the break" with that penalty. I am going on Saturday and hope the fans stand united behind the players and Manager. They can't afford to lose our support.

Inverness CT -V- Partick Thistle
Our recent record against Partick is very poor, with only one league win when there was little at stake at the end of last season, so a point can be seen as a positive in some ways. Our recent records away to Hamilton and home to Dundee are pretty good, so let's back Richie and the players and hopefully help them two badly needed good results. 23 points in a week's time has to be the aim! Let's go for it!!

How would Sutherland and McAllister do as a top league pairing?

Player of the Year - Partick
For what it's worth, I went with: Fon Williams Vigurs Tremarco
-
Inverness CT -V- Partick Thistle
Poor performance but at least a clean sheet. Not sure who the walking wounded were, presumably Draper given he was hooked, and I thought Tansey was struggling fitness wise so probably not 100%. Given the first half, we are lucky with the point. We were very exposed on our left flank. I like Cole but he cannot defend and Patrick played on it. I think that's why Polworth got switched. We were beaten to the ball too often, and I'd have changed the kick out ploy after Doumbouya was taken off to mix things up. Positives? Fon Williams kept us in it. Tremarco pretty solid. Vigurs definitely improved us, and looked up for if today. Mulraney's pace, but he still needs better judgement. Doran was lively but missed a couple of good chances. Defence got a clean sheet. Negatives? Too many, but midfield second best on the whole. Didn't like hearing booing at the end. We need to help to lift the players. Two really big games coming up. Six points would be good, but less than four could be disastrous.

Team News - Injuries and Suspensions etc
We need to get through tomorrow first with four fit defenders and no fallback in Draper....

Ex-ICT players' news
Dean Brill has left Motherwell in search of first team football. I really hope things work out well for him. He did a lot for us.
