  1. This article sums it up, and confirms the 9 currently contracted for next season: https://www.pressandjournal.co.uk/fp/sport/football/inverness-caledonian-thistle/6487637/caley-thistle-set-to-be-without-a-goalkeeping-coach-and-a-single-signed-goalkeeper/?fbclid=IwZXh0bgNhZW0CMTEAAR2Qg7G7L2S0ry9KiKDaWktehHc3AV8VtMhWlSZNIOx1Cps583fEPcSltMc_aem_AathZPX-YhV_zrWz7tJsTiRZEyzKZoPSDWzsUgY30t4ApZgKNup5vE6zIr-2ARCTTSwK1aOATcNR5FPQSFhg6T0P
  2. Today, but they are a year out of date as to the end of May last year.
  3. Who’d have thought on this day 9 years ago where we would be and what we’d be discussing today! How we’ve fallen in that time.
  4. I’m away on business so missing the meeting tonight, which I hope is going well. The Chairman and Board want inspiration. They could learn from this: https://www.heraldscotland.com/news/24349534.north-lanarkshire-based-football-club-receive-american-investment/ With our location and heritage, we should have much greater appeal than a Lanarkshire club to overseas romantics. But, as Scotty has so eloquently outlined above, it’s not the CEO’s idea so……
  5. The P&J has issued this about the Trust and the Fans Meeting: https://www.pressandjournal.co.uk/fp/sport/football/inverness-caledonian-thistle/6482566/fans-flock-to-join-caley-thistle-supporters-trust-ahead-of-meeting/
  6. Has anyone managed to keep track of the ownership of items that could be deemed to be assets of the club, and of how the company structure fits together? In recent times we’ve been told the club owns the ground, car parks, the land for lease next to the North Car Park and the Battery Farm site. I’m unclear as to what the assets would actually be in the event of the club going into administration, or therefore what options there may be for any “white knight” coming in to rescue things (if only there was one!). Anyone got a decent understanding of it all?
  7. I just wonder what the next bombshell will be, as the club statement on Friday started with: “As one major part of our planned strategic restructure of the club, ICTFC are delighted to announce an innovative agreement…” Anyone got thoughts as to what other hair brain ideas there may be that have not been shared with fans? Also, whilst it is unlikely there will be much take up, we must be due to get the season ticket prices and bands soon. Will prices be reduced? Will the feedback from the Supporters Trust and fans about the reintroduction of the 16-25 age band have been listened to? Or will rates be increased despite relegation? No doubt we will know by early June!
  8. Jordan White for County in the play offs today.
  9. Courier article: https://www.inverness-courier.co.uk/sport/caley-thistle-supporters-trust-tells-the-board-you-have-r-351650/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=facebook
  10. What a joke we’ve become.
  11. 7 pages of comments in only 9 hours and not a match in sight! That sums up the strength of feeling over this ill thought out, insane decision. A club has to be in its community, otherwise there can be no engagement and support will wither (or whatever support is left after recent diabolical decisions and performances). I’m struggling with how this benefits the finances. Surely we’d be better to capitalise on the products of our Academy along with experienced players who are happy to be in the area? We might not bounce back right away but the passion would be restored and the fans would get behind local youngsters. This is a decision made by people who don’t understand the area we are in, and who have totally misread the mood of fans, and it is a total disgrace that everyone involved should be ashamed of. To me, this is much worse than relegation and I’d rather have seen us go to a Cove model of hybrid full and part time than this. A very sad day.
  12. Just made Reporting Scotland.
  13. This is not a result of relegation, it must have been planned for some time. What message does it send to local youngsters, who we should be developing to be our future first team players? Another sad day.
  14. Hope they don’t mind commuting to Kelty!
  15. Rearrange these words: plot, lost, the. Speechless!
  16. Thanks for doing this all season and a well deserved winner. It is such a shame that the club did not do awards this season as I suspect Cammy would have been the fans’ choice so he’s been deprived of that glory.
  17. From the note of the February Fans Meeting, Scott Young said there were 1459 season tickets and a further 50 half season tickets.
  18. Indeed it is, but I’d expect there to be plans prepared for both scenarios, with the relevant one then taken forward. Anyway, we are both in the same boat here, wanting our club to survive and prosper.
  19. No, I have a very good understanding of Employment Law so know the process companies need to follow. However the restructuring was made public at the Fans Meeting in early April and to take effect from the start of the new financial year on 1 June. For that date to be achieved, they should be well through the consultation process by now. Personally I want to understand how the plan, whatever it is, achieves sustainability, particularly if the Battery Farm does not get the go ahead, and how we avoid a repeat of the current cash flow problems.
  20. It leaves more questions than answers. Are there changes to the Board? Will we retain a CEO? What about the Manager, Assistant and Coaches? What about the other staff employed by the club, many of whom must be quite low paid. How big a squad will we have? What happens to the Academy? etc etc.
  21. It’s on the website too. Basically staying full time but more to be announced about the restructuring in a few days: https://ictfc.com/chairmans-statement/
  22. Please don’t take this the wrong way, but we would all come up with different forms of wording. The Trust deserves credit for getting a statement out in the immediate aftermath of Saturday’s disaster and for keeping its members updated. Credit also to the Wyness Shuffle guys for their post about the situation and also showing their support for the work of the Trust. All at a time when those running the club are conspicuous by their silence.
  23. OTB it’s rumoured.
  24. Strongly linked with Cove unfortunately.
  25. Well done Gringo and thanks again for running this competition, giving us some light hearted good fun.
