  1. Many thanks. I hope to get going with the conversion before the end of the week. Will be in touch if required.
  2. This lockdown and a rainy day had me having a rummage around in loft yesterday. Unfortunately there was nothing up there that would be of interest to Flog It or the Antiques Roadshow but I did come across a gem....it's a VHS Tape recording of almost the entire 2003-04 season involving just ICT games. The games were recorded off the box by Uncle Albert who painstakingly put it together week in week for Gringo Junior. Also in the loft were a couple of VHS Recorders/Players which, after a good dusting and clean, actually work. I have software now that can convert this VHS to a DVD or MP4 format. The footage, if I recall, does have a couple of games missing probably due to no highlights being broadcast at the time. Of course, when Uncle Albert started recording this he had no idea he was starting to compile a record of our title winning season. I'm going to enjoy watching this.
  3. Best night of my football watching years. Wow! I can remember the whole thing as if it was yesterday. Fantastic and lost my voice for about two weeks lol. As we were waiting for the train back south from Glasgow Central and Celtic fan approached us. I feared the worst to be honest but no, he just wanted to swap scarf's saying "my team was shite, you're team was brilliant...this is history...will you swap your scarf?" I did and I've still got it (somewhere)
  4. Thank you all for your kind words, much appreciated. When the NPL returns it will be in its current format. Thank you all for playing the NPL. Cheers Gringo
  5. Thanks Robert, your comments are much appreciated. The NPL will continue in it's current format when it returns. Yes, I think Jordan was my main points scorer but I think I did well with the HT and Crowd sections too. I'll try to put some stats up at a later. Stats for last season could not be compiled with any degree of accuracy because of macro issues within the Spreadsheet.
  6. Hello Punters, That's that then, the season is now over and the NAPS Competition has now come to an end. I'm happy to declare Joonya the winner of the NAPS Competition 2019/20. As there were about eight matches left to play I reckon he should start on 120 next season and not 200 Thanks for playing the NAPS guys, I know you love it so we will return as soon as the new season kicks off. Stay safe, stay at home, stay healthy
  7. Hello dear NPL punters, I sincerely hope you are all fit and well out the there. As we all know the season is now over so there will be no further games in the NPL. The NPL 2019/2020 is now complete and TABLE 38 will be the final standings for this season. Having said that, I will not be taking the title on a lap of honour and will forfeit the multi £m prize money . The battle at the top with Robert was building up nicely for a photo finish. Taking the last 10 games as a guide, Robert was very much the form player. There were, of course, outstanding Jokers to be played and your guess is as good as mine as to who would have finished top of the Leaderboard. I was never able to shake him off as he battled back from around 20 points behind to within 3 points. It's been a ding dong battle all season. Going back through the tables he hit top spot 17 times including 3 times where we were holding hands in top spot. Week 14 saw me drop to 5th in the table but only 12 points adrift of top spot. I'd climbed to top spot (jointly) at week 19 and stayed there with an big beady eye open over my shoulder. I was never allowed to relax so full credit to him for keeping me on my toes. So, with a heavy heart, its game over for 2019-2020 and hopefully we'll all be back when the season eventually kicks off again. I'll look forward to the battle again. Take care everyone, be good, stay at home and stay safe.
  8. No need to close the thread just yet I don't think. There may be others our there that would prefer the FB platform.
  9. CTO has been my main forum for many years and will probably remain so until Scotty pulls the plug out.
  10. Sorry to hear this bud. As you say, thankfully not Covid-19. I wish you well. Get well soon.
  11. If you have Sky it's channel 457
  12. Great news Robert. Here's hoping he makes a full recovery. A close friend of mine was in ICU with this virus. He has underlying issues too. He came home yesterday.
  13. I personally don't recall any of our lads going to Donny or v.v Looks like you've found something to do now
  14. I was supposed to be in Inverness this weekend seeing family and also take in the Wafer Cup Final. All cancelled now of course. I'd cancelled my trip before this Charles business kick off [see what I did there] and couldn't help thinking 'if it's ok for him (he's old) then it's ok for me (not as old...but old)'. But no, I like to think of myself as being responsible so I'm staying away from the Highlands just now. Finally down here folk have started to get a grip of the advice at last. It took them a while but I think they've got it. I went for my cycle ride around the park on Wednesday and folk were keeping the recommended gap between each other apart from a couple in a passionate embrace on a bench exchanging saliva!! Go figure that one out. I hope you are all well in CTO land. Be good, heed the advice and above all stay safe. Keep away from Balmoral
  15. Yes it would. Had plans to come up for that and spend a weekend in Inverness to celebrate with family. Had other plans too whilst up there. Sadly had to cancel the whole trip by heeding the Gov advice.....unlike some Royal twit...ahem!
  16. You could be right bughtmaster lol. The down side to all this free time will be the intensity of doing these comp's twice a week when (if) we get back under way.
  17. Good shout that. Could also be a problem if they start to ration goods.
  18. I'm in much the same boat. A lot better off than most and will get through this mayhem. My services have also been offered to those in need where I live. So far, everyone seems to be coping and once the shop managers get to grips with those evil panic buyers then things will settle down. It is those kinds of people who are making matters worse down here. There is no need for it. There's a lot of profiteering going on down here. One shop is selling a small bottle of hand gel for £10/ I kid you not. Stay safe everyone and head the advice that's out there.
  19. All games on hold just now guys. See what happens and hopefully we'll back to the frustrations of this game soon. Stay safe out there.
  20. I have locked all the Games that were open for predictions for the moment. I'll await events before re-opening etc. Your current predictions will remain for now but you will get the chance to alter these later on if you wish. Stay safe out there.

  22. NPL Review for Game 38 Great result that. Shame I didn’t make the game. JodieC95 and Robert grab maximum points in the Correct Scores section. No points awarded in the First Scorer section. old caley girl got the Crowd Section bonus – 46 under. Gringo is just about holding on to top spot. Turning out to be a right old battle at the top.
