    Obviously not.

There's always hope I suppose. It's taken Mr Brewster 16 games to realise something that the fans have known for a while... "We need to be a bit more clinical and a bit more selfish at times in and around the final third..... .....It was just in that final third that we let ourselves down by not having enough attempts at goal or by picking the wrong options..." CB I'll leave them off the coupon though as I really am not that confident of a home win with this one. Inverness Caledonian Thistle, I challenge you to prove me wrong in my judgement. Are you up to the challenge?
  3. Oh yes, I remember it well. Travelled up for that one. Top of the table clash I recall. We had key players on the treatment table. Game off due to 'frozen pitch'...yeh right!! Went to watch Clach instead...in Inverness....on an unfrozen pitch...hmmmm...
  4. It's just like watching County.
  5. .....when we get a striker. (Just thought I'd finish off your good post Alex.. )
  6. Can't argue with that CD.
  7. We've got every chance of taking something from this match. I hope the boys will be out to 'avenge' thier last visit to Glasgow when they were trounced by the other half of the evil two. If we get in amogst them and stop them playing we should be able to catch them on the break. Only thing that bothers me is we have no striker. I'd be more than happy with a point but, on our day, we are capable of taking all three. Hope that day is now here.
  8. ....or anything else to do with customer services! Andy, you'll have more entertainment following ICT than you ever will with Leeds. And getting to/from Morecambe by rail for an away game is fairly easy. (Better than Coventry anyway).
  9. I've looked at it a few times and can see why it was only a yellow. When Dargo nodded to ball past Boruc it was going away from goal and there were also two covering defenders. However, it was a high, dangerous tackle that could have caused a seriuos injury and could (should) have been punished with a red. I do believe if that same situation had happened with Esson/Fraser or any other goalkeeper outwith the OF he would have walked.
  10. The Professor is right Craig. I hope you learn the lesson and take note of the report.
  11. Good ol' Auntie Beeb... We lost

...Dargo and Wyness have started for St Mirren in their game against Celtic today.
  13. Don't do that....!! When I saw the title of this thread one thought went through my mind...they'd moved the fixture. Phew!!!
  14. I did - on the matchday thread Aye, but he's made the same mistake time and time again this season. Do we not think it's about time he got it right at the start of the game and not wait until HT or even the last 20 minutes?
  15. There is currently no great incentive on the playing field at the moment that's for sure. ....and Coventry Nil.
  16. In my view the buck stops with manager. Yes, we can blame the players for not performing but they are playing to the instructions of their manager are they not? They are told to play a certain system and they will not be able to use their initative on the field to change it, that's the managers job. The manager is also the person that picks the team. He is also the person that drops players who are perfoming and plays those that arn't. If players are demotivated them the manager should be able to recognise that and correct it.
  17. West Brom' Albion had their shirts embroidered with a poppy for their game last Saturday. The shirts were being auctioned off after the game with the proceeds going to the British Legion.
  18. Cracking game in north London tonight....finished Arsenal 4 Tottenham 4. Some great goals too....hope our boys were watching..
  19. Relegation would definitely be a disaster for our club. Yes, we have succeeded before in the lower divisions but I doubt we'd cope again. Relegation would see the squad being decimated and there would, almost certainly, be a return to part-time football. It doesn't bare thinking about.
  20. Great thread this.... Some very good points being made here but I think the crooks of the matter is football, generally, is pricing itself out of business. I also believe the weather does have an effect on games especially if we aren't playing well and also if we are taking on 'lesser' opposition. I also believe the way supporters get treated is a factor for some too. To pay your expensive entry fee to be watched like and hawk and treated like a leper makes folk think twice. You are also treated like a naughty schoolboy/girl and told to sit down (yes I know it?s a 'rule' that we have to adhere to) by over enthusiastic stewards who are on a power trip. Just imagine being treated the same way in major retail store, you wouldn?t be too pleased and would, probably, never return. Football today is big business and this ?big business? needs to take a good look at itself and see how it can improve the way it looks after its customers but for the life of me I can?t ever see that happening. The good old supporter will continue to come along and turn out his/her pockets for the club of their choice, but, for how much longer is anyone?s guess.

Our squad may be fitter under Craig's managment but fittness doesn't seem to be getting us points on the board. It also doesn't matter if we lose by the odd goal or whether we lose by 6 goals it equals the same points - zero.
  22. Darn disgrace sacking Ramos, I thought he was doing a great job a Spurs And as for Harry, well, he is just a money grabbing cockney. Those Pompey fans must be really baying for his blood now.
  23. Aye Alex, there is a chance we may go there and get a result but for the life of me I can't see us scoring. And our defence will not be able to keep them out. I'd love us to go there and grab the three points - I just can't see it happening.
  24. We have no goalscorers of SPL quality and we have no solid defenders of SPL quality. I fear the writing is on the wall for ICT. Just how long do we have to 'keep the faith with Brewster' before the facts actually start to bite?
