  1. Because the new owners (a brewery) may have plans to try and change the clientelle.
  2. Now that the Innes has been sold on, and become a real ale pub I believe, will it continue to be the pre-match meeting point or are we looking for a new venue.
  3. Its an awfie lot of fuss about nothing if you ask me. Just another saturday fixture. Christmas shopping can be done any other day and christmas doesn't start till the kids are in bed anyway.
  4. Whats that in fathoms? Or am I getting too deep. 1 foot = 0.16666666667 fathoms so it must be around 1.013888889029166666666666666667 fathoms or there abouts Thanks Alex, whats that in cables 1.013888889029166666666666666667 / 101.3333333333n or a bawhair of a cable which is a gnats whisker away off topic. Best of luck tpo Tom. Hope he destroys the SPL
  5. Except we'll be at home that day.
  6. They may have had less than last year and, I would imagine, the SFA would have considered that but the fact is they still had the worst record for the season. We were commended for being at the bottom of the disciplinary league but we shouldn't get complacent either. We had 3 reds and 52 yellows in SPL matches.
  7. Only till the snows come and we're playing catch up. I expect to see Monday night ones for Sky as well.

  9. Think its the club who design it. Errea just provide templates to choose from.
  10. Would that not kinda clash with the home kit
  11. If you look on their web site it would be very difficult to miss it.As its on their website I would hazzard a quess that it is aimed at Partic Thistle fans spending a bit more cash. Our version would be the sneckie rap of course. This is the point I'm trying to make. On the website its aimed at existing fans. Fans who will already know all the info from programmes etc. To make such worthwhile it also needs to get out to business. To the people who they need to convince to part with cash. It isn't beyond possibility that this vid was produced free of charge by a fan and no cost has been incurred by PT.
  12. Does that mean its all silver with a blue helmet
  13. Any clues I can understand
  14. All good and well making a promo video but how do they plan on airing it and where? Is it a TV promo or strictly for their website? Who is it aimed at, fans who already know what its all about or a wider audience who haven't heard of PT? Would such a promo benefit our club or would the costs of production outweigh the income expected? It could generate a bit of income. It could lose money. Hard to say on this one.
  15. Are the OF playing on the opening day? Seem to recall something about foriegn tournaments and being allowed to opt out of early season start.
  16. For a bit of fun I'm going to hazard a guess that our opening fixture will be away to Celtic.
  17. Not sure why you'd assume that but I'd go with Caleyjag in thinking that both Rangers and Dunfermline will have home opening games.
  18. Have been reading over Masters Football website and it would appear that teams dont enter off their own back. It seems that the teams are selected based on their league position and location in relation to the venues. In efect the only way ICT will be entered is if we finish top two or three in our SPL. Players chosen tend to be those who have taken part in a legends or veterans team for their respective club. (Think it may have been Legends football and not Masters that I mentioned in previous post) So before too much discussion goes on about the why's and why nots of us having a team bear in mind that we can't choose Masters. They choose us. Website here
  19. I discussed this with a person at the club a couple of years ago. the problem we have is cost. It takes a fair bit of cash to run a Masters team and the club haven't got it. If I win the lottery I'll sponsor one.
  20. It has been suggested that the TV communicated the story before the club could inform their fans. Is it not the case that the club communicated via the TV?
  21. I beg to differ on that one. Part of his sentence was seven years on SO register. A term he is still serving.
  22. You need to paste over the http:// My link Just noticed it's the same clip Dewsburydude posted. Hadn't looked at dudes one but that was on Yahoo today so thought it was more recent. Link sh!t cos work computers are sh!t....never mind
  23. This one hit the crossbar My link
  24. The personal life of MK: While on loan to Hull City, King was alleged to have headbutted teammate Dean Windass in a casino in Scarborough. Hull City stated that the matter had been dealt with internally, and both players remained with the club. Windass later described the incident as a "storm in a teacup". King has convictions for 14 offences, dating from 1997.[ He received fines, driving bans, community service sentences, a rehabilitation order and orders to pay compensation on convictions including: theft from a person and from a car, criminal damage, and attempting to obtain property by deception; fraudulent use of vehicle licence document, driving without insurance, speeding, drink driving; a wounding incident while playing amateur football, and two cases involving assault of young women rejecting his advances in the Soho area of London. Two cases have led to imprisonment. In May 2002 he received an eighteen-month prison sentence for receiving stolen goods, in relation to a BMW convertible that he was found driving. He was found not guilty of a charge of assaulting a police officer in a related case. His solicitor commented that "His reputation will be tarnished forever, whatever success he achieves, he'll always be referred to in a Tyson-esque way as someone who has had a criminal past and that is a considerable penalty." Gillingham continued to pay his salary while he was in jail, and supported in his appeal, which resulted in the sentence being reduced to nine months, and he was released on licence after five months, returning to the Gillingham team within two days of his release. In December 2008, again in the Soho area, King was arrested on suspicion of punching a 20 year-old female university student in the face, causing a broken nose and split lip for which she was treated in hospital. He was later convicted of sexual assault and assault occasioning actual bodily harm, and sentenced to 18 months in prison and placed on the sex offender register for seven years. Wigan Athletic immediately initiated the cancellation of his contract. King?s agent, Tony Finnigan, said he was confident that his client would find a club on his release, which was on 29 July 2010, and accused the Professional Footballers' Association (PFA) of failing to offer support. Gordon Taylor, the chief executive of the PFA, said that the PFA did not represent players when they have broken the law and been convicted on non-footballing matters. It would support members with anger management or other issues if approached but no approach had been made by King. After his release, he made an appeal against the conviction which was unsuccessful. In my opinion not someone who should be in the public eye.
  25. There are many sportsmen out there who were very good at football but chose another sport. Andy Murray had the chance to sign for Rangers. I dont know how good Bolt is but I know he has played in quite a few charity matches so maybe he could eventually play in EPL.
