5 defenders??? is that not asking for trouble considering our defenders are most prone to making mastakes? actually i apologise....McBain doesnt really count as one of our mistake prone defenders. My reasoning for 5 is that the midfield will be missed out anyway.

Tickets for Celtic Match
Firstly the prices were set before the OF levy was discussed. The majority of ICT fans are not affected by the increase as they are season ticket holders and ST prices stayed the same as last year. Those who are affected are the couple of hundred regular pay at the gater's like myself and the couple of thousand glory seekers and pretend ICT fans who only want to see the OF

Brewsters Comments
Consistancy is something we have in abundance. onsistantly good away, consistantly poor at home. Why?? Cant be bothered fans, cant be bothered players?? Less than 3000 home fans turn up for an SPL game. Doesn't really get the hackles rising does it? At least when they go away they're playing in front of decent sized crowds and there's usually a bit of atmosphere to spur them along.

Section G Leadership
The finger was directed at the 'little boy' hiding behind his mates who thought it ok to let rip with a mouthful of abuse directed at me. The comment to Dougie was made in response to what he had said in the press. He said he huffed at being dropped and that it fired him up to perform. I said 'hope your huffed today Doug and fired up to show them how its done' Nothing offensive. Roscoe23, has it ever crossed your mind that those you see having tea etc in their cars may have travelled a considerable distance. As for the BENI...........I have encouraged and supported those lads and lasses and have defended them in the past. I have provided them with their own flag, at considerable cost, so when I try and get them singing I dont expect a tirade of foul and abusive language.

At least that explains why there hadn't been a bookies for a while.

Scottish Cup draw
Dont think Fort William will see the second round. Seem to recall an Orkney or Shetland team once having to travel somewhere. Could be dreaming though.

Martin Canning & Brian Kerr
My view is probably a bit biased but three caps doesn't sound like atrocious

Martin Canning & Brian Kerr
Brian's had an offer to go play in Bulgaria but would rather stay in UK. He's a bit miffed at his treatment under Mixu. He thought he was doing well with Hibs but didn't feature after getting boo'd of the park following Intertoto and has had the remaining two years of his contract bought out. I wouldn't mind seeing him at ICT but think we've enough cover in midfield as it is.

CAPTION COMPETITION

Home game v Celtic........
Setanta had to wait till Celtic sorted themselves out. I had enquired at Setanta when someone on here pointed out we were not on the schedule. That was their reply at the time.

Attention Season ticket Holder
Apart from myself and Caley100 is anyone up for this for the Killie game. TMFTJ perhaps? Any other Innes patrons? I may, however, be forced to include Mrs M.

Home game v Celtic........
Celtic were the ones holding things up while they waited to see the Champions league draw and sort their travel arrangements.

For the record I am not an ST holder but that does not make me any less passionate or knowledgeable about the club. I work offshore so its pointless buying an ST but I do try and get to as many games as I can when I'm on leave. Probably more away than home. I would like to think I am as qualified as any ST holder to offer judgement on most of the above.

Who owns TCS?
Tullochs always had and always will have overall control of everything. Setting up different companies and moving debts around is common business practice and not something sinister. The lease on the land isn't worth a great deal as any property developer would want feu title. The land is owned by HRC so they are the ones who would gain most from relocation and sale of the land.

5thstand either works for BP (S.M.A.R.T) :thumb04: or he reads a lot of 'how to be a manager' books ;) billyshears sounds like he could be pretty close to the Board at ICT :018: Both, however, put across very valid and sensible points. We are still a very young club. We are reaching the end of our childhood, have learned a lot along the way, but know there's still a difficult road in front of us. A club of this size cannot be expected to give away hundreds of tickets. They could, however, subsidise the trusts initiative. As suggested a 'two for one' would be a step in the right direction. Nor can they be expected to wave a magic wand and solve everybody's complaints. There are a number of issues that people would like to see being addressed, and I'm sure there are people at the club who would also like them sorted just as much as the complainants would, but those things dont happen overnight. We see stewarding as an issue simply because we never had to comply with the SPL rules in the early years of our climb. In the lower leagues standing was the norm. I would like to see, in the interim, stewards being instructed to use common sense. In other words, if fans are standing and singing but not infringing on anyone else then let them be. If others are being affected by the standing then take the necessary action. In the long term I'd like to see club and supporters lobbying the SPL to relax some of the stupid rules they have in place. I would like to see improvements to the policing and exiting of carparks. It really p*sses me of having to go left out of the carpark when I want onto the A9. I'd like to see the club make some effort to allow flags and banners to be displayed. (Especially the BENI one ) I'd like to be able to go, on the half time whistle, for refreshments and be back in my seat before the second half begins. I could go on and on but I'm a realist. I know that to get anything done I have to walk before I can run. The first thing is to build dialogue. To create openness and honesty on both sides and to trust each other. Get that right and the rest falls into place. Like Gringo Jnr I would be prepared now and again to give some of my time to keeping the dialogue alive. I'm sure Scotty will get the ball rolling and I'm sure, with hard work and patience we can all have a part to play in taking this club through its puberty stage and into adulthood. No doubt one or two will make the comment that Alex MacLeod is siding with the club. And thats there opinion but just to put the record straight Alex MacLeod only sides with reality. Pie in the sky will not satiate my hunger.
